Why would people from the Eastern World appear in this world?

This is indeed a long-standing question. In the Main Plane and numerous Projection Planes, Xia Duo has collected a vast amount of data, including the personal accounts of Easterners who appeared in this world, but none of them explained this issue.

Even previously in the 【Projection Plane: Evereska Independent】, the monarchs and ministers of the Uweilun Palace did not know the reason, yet now Shen Nuode'er acts as if "I know."

It seems that if Xia Duo did not ask, he might take the answer to this question to his grave.

So, would the other party answer this question? Xia Duo was suddenly a bit uncertain, but Shen Nuode'er did not disappoint him; perhaps it was the Wisdom Lamp—an item that the other party deemed absolutely impossible to appear here—that made him change his mind.

After a moment of silence, Shen Nuode'er took the initiative to explain: "This question is quite complex. Before answering it, I would like to ask how much Lord Asuosi knows about the Eastern World?"

"Knowledge is limited to some legends, and, oh yes, some stories about the people of the Borderlands."

"Then I shall explain it as if you know nothing about the Eastern World."

Shen Nuode'er smiled, then continued: "Whether it is the Eastern World, the Eastern Kingdom, or the Golden Kingdom, these are all names we use for them; they call themselves the 'Celestial Empire'."

"That is a kingdom where the Dao of Order is extremely prosperous. Its citizens follow the laws in all their actions, and from these laws, they derive extremely powerful strength."

"That world is enveloped by this power, without any gaps. Except for times of dynastic transition or the collapse of order, at which point the Lower People, who lack the protection of Ancestral Gods, might drift into our world from the wilderness."

"Do you know why I am certain that the treasure just now could not have been brought by one of your Eastern friends? Because I have seen that treasure with my own eyes in the Eastern World; that treasure belongs to an extremely powerful group of ascetics."

"If they were not keen on spreading their ascetic philosophy to outsiders, I might never have been able to see that treasure, let alone possess it."

"As I just said, the Easterners who can appear in our world are all Lower People without the protection of Ancestral Gods. How could a Lower Person obtain such a treasure?"

At this point, Shen Nuode'er's gaze suddenly turned sharp. He looked straight at Xia Duo and asked with unusual seriousness: "I have already said what I know. Does Lord Asuosi still intend to be so insincere?"

Under these circumstances, Xia Duo naturally could not deny what he had just said. He firmly believed that even if everything Shen Nuode'er said was correct, accidents still existed in this world, so he chose to stick to his story to the end:

"This was indeed obtained from a friend of mine. Perhaps he is a Lower Person as you described in the Eastern World, but it is not impossible for a Noble to fall into the dust. I believe there are always exceptions to everything; perhaps it was passed down by his ancestors?"

This remark stunned Shen Nuode'er. Afterward, as if thinking of something, he actually nodded in agreement, "That treasure is indeed not unique. Perhaps it is truly possible that your friend's ancestors obtained it and then passed it down to him."

The topic of the Wisdom Lamp ended there. Xia Duo had merely used it as a stepping stone and was not truly that interested in the object itself; what he was truly interested in were accurate clues about the Eastern World, not any single item from it.

Of course, Shen Nuode'er had just revealed an unexpected piece of news. Perhaps Shen Nuode'er himself had not noticed it, but Xia Duo was very sensitive, so he naturally shifted the topic to that:

"Lord Shen Nuode'er just mentioned that the citizens of the Eastern World follow the laws in their actions and can obtain power from these laws? How exactly does this work?"

If it were someone with absolutely no concept of the Order Force, they might think that the Eastern World is rife with divine ways, and that most Easterners follow the creeds and decrees of some god to obtain god-granted power.

But Xia Duo felt that it was highly likely the Easterners had mastered some power capable of making the Order Force directly intervene in reality; this was the power born from the laws.

Regarding Xia Duo's question, Shen Nuode'er did not explain directly but instead took out a hollowed-out jade-like object. Xia Duo had sharp eyes and immediately noticed the hollowed-out palace pattern on it and the Eastern characters floating above it.

The characters were arranged vertically in two rows: one row was larger, reading "Chunhua Palace Lecture"; the other row was smaller, reading "Mu Xiude".

Xia Duo had a persona as an "Easterner" in the Main Plane, and since he was very interested in the Eastern World, he had naturally come into contact with some of the Eastern World's languages and scripts once he had the conditions to do so.

What Shen Nuode'er took out should be an exclusive Identity Token. The other party seemed to have done quite well in the Eastern World; it was just unclear why he could not go back after having been there once.

"What is the use of this Jade Tablet?" Xia Duo asked.

"It has no use now, but in the Eastern World, it represents my identity and the power I can obtain from that identity. Every citizen of the Eastern World has one, though that does not include the Lower People."

"Then what power does the identity represented by this Jade Tablet possess in the Eastern World? What about other identities?" Xia Duo asked again.

Shen Nuode'er thought for a moment and told Xia Duo, "The identity represented by my Jade Tablet allows me to obtain a Protective Aura of this identity's rank from the Heavenly Dynasty Laws, as well as a spell similar to the effect of an Inheritance Ritual, which makes what I say easier for others to understand."

"As for other identities, they are similar to mine: a basic Protective Aura and a spell consistent with the identity. For example, a Law Enforcer might possess interrogation or tracking spells, while a Clerk might possess shorthand or transcription spells."

Although there was still a certain gap between what Shen Nuode'er said and the potential ways of utilizing the Order Force that Xia Duo had envisioned, his thoughts were merely thoughts, while the Eastern World was actually using it that way.

This made him feel extremely shocked!

If nothing else, it at least proved that there was indeed a way to utilize the Order Force that could be used to directly interfere with reality; it was just that he hadn't found it, while the Eastern World had long since been using it.
