Chapter 2967: New Seventon, Opening Performance

Seventon.

After several years, Xia Duo came to the Great Arena again to watch the Snow Melting Competition in person. This year he also brought Niya along; in fact, Saville, Aipusi, Aiboke, and others had also come.

However, they did not stay with Xia Duo and his wife, but instead went to the Seven Towers' Floating City. Having grown tired of their own Floating City, they could not help but feel curious about the Seven Towers' new Floating City.

This Floating City, built following Xia Duo's suggestion, was still named 【New Seventon】 by the Seven Towers. Its overall structure adopted the method of water-body conversion construction, which was also technical support provided by Xia Duo.

Therefore, the current New Seventon presents itself as an azure-colored inverted mountain peak. The Seven Towers still could not forget the visual impact of the previous peak-cutting and mountain-breaking, so they deliberately shaped the new Floating City into this appearance.

Moreover, perhaps because they had not mastered spells like 【Wide-Area Prohibition】 to transform space, or simply because they did not like such methods, the city built by the Seven Towers was still on the cross-section of the inverted mountain, rather than inside it.

Of course, there might be some facilities hidden inside, but outsiders had no way of knowing; they only knew the city was built on the cross-section of the inverted mountain.

Unlike Xia Duo's two Floating Cities, where the cities were built inside the main body, closer to the design of a spaceship, and with higher space utilization.

In fact, even without considering space utilization, the volume of the Seven Towers' 【New Seventon】 was not as large as any of Xia Duo's Floating Cities.

Even for the later-built Yongle City, which appeared smaller in volume than the first city, Changan, this was because the two adopted completely different construction methods.

And accordingly, Yongle City had not yet been transferred back to the Nan Jing from the Langas Plain.

The performance segment before the leader's speech was a segment that had only just emerged in recent years. Xia Duo had not intervened in it, but the Seven Towers and the Council had figured it out themselves and put on quite a few fancy shows.

As for where the limit was, it had a direct relationship with the Floating City's Mythallar and Flight Control System. According to Xia Duo's calculations, it could at least be expanded to twice the size of Changan.

Xia Duo and Niya appeared in the audience seats as ordinary spectators, surrounded by waves of deafening cheers. Even though Xia Duo had anticipated it, he was still shocked by the enthusiasm of the audience.

As for whether it was equipped with ready-to-use War Spells, it was hard for outsiders to judge, but Xia Duo happened to know, because not long ago the Seven Towers had sought his help to solve the problem of unstable instantaneous output of the Mythallar.

Therefore, during this month, above Seventon, besides the semi-finished Floating City of New Seventon, Xia Duo's Changan would also stay at a higher altitude until the Snow Melting Competition ended.

If anyone wanted to force their way in, the Yongle City that had been moved to the Nan Jing would teach them a lesson.

In addition, the construction progress of 【New Seventon】 was far behind Yongle City. At the very least, Yongle City already possessed a perfect Mythallar system and was equipped with ready-to-use War Spells.

On the opening day, at the Great Arena.

The reason for bringing Changan to Seventon instead of Yongle City was mainly because Xia Duo considered that the internal infrastructure of Yongle City had not yet begun construction and lacked popularity, while Changan already had many permanent residents.

Xia Duo's War Spell Magic Artifacts were coordinated through the Mythallar to achieve a state that looked simple but actually had a very high threshold of being "ready to use." In this aspect, the Seven Towers lagged too far behind.

Later, because of the strong opposition from all sides, the following two times there were no such unpresentable performances, but every time there were new tricks, and it was quite rare for them to be different each time.

Or rather, the Adamantine main body of Yongle City was actually not fixed in shape; it was just that Xia Duo currently let it manifest in a spherical form similar to Changan. This was a true change of form, not just Changan using Magic to adjust space.

Niya was even more infected by this collective emotion, excitedly waving her arms and echoing the surrounding waves of cheers.

Of course, even the seemingly smaller Yongle City was a complete behemoth compared to the Seven Towers' 【New Seventon】.

If someone really had the ability, they could first rush to the Nan Jing, then teleport to Changan from the Portal at Code Plaza, but that place actually restricted people outside the Territory from using it for the time being.

The opening speech was given by Badijiaer, followed by speeches from the senior leaders of the Northland Alliance, expressing their expectations for this Snow Melting Competition.

It was just that there were many tourists for this Snow Melting Competition, and they had to pull out New Seventon to divert the flow, which caused problems.

This was not a problem with the Mythallar, but instability in the transmission process from the Mythallar to the War Spell Core Artifact. The War Spell volume was huge, and it was difficult to design a single Magic Artifact; instead, multiple Magic Artifacts had to cooperate.

It was not to go to the Seventon site to watch, but to broadcast on the Floating City. Right at Hengchun Square, the Seven Towers sent people to set up a set of real-time Projection facilities.

So this year, the human performance was also particularly worth looking forward to.

These two points were actually the core of the Floating City. Without the Mythallar, the protection would be slightly weak and not comprehensive; without being equipped with War Spells, the Mobile War Spell Platform would not be established, losing its greatest deterrent power.

Any slight instability in the energy transmission would affect the generation and re-creation of the War Spells. In layman's terms, the success rate did not meet the standard line, and the cooldown time was long, which did not meet expectations.

He estimated that the Seven Towers would not be able to completely solve this problem within half a year. This was actually not a big problem; after all, 【New Seventon】 was still under construction.

Nowadays, not to mention the New Seventon Mythallar, tourists who had the opportunity to go up this time could see that this new city, still under construction, had no shadow of a Mythallar at all.

Changan had its main body built first, and then the Mythallar was built based on the technology of the main body; while the later-built Yongle City had the Mythallar built first, and used a more perfect new design, with the main body built afterward.

As long as one was on the Floating City, they could watch for free. This was also one of the costs for the Seven Towers, or more accurately, the Seven Cities Council, to hire Changan as "security."

Bringing Changan over also happened to let the residents or members of the Tower of Time watch a higher-standard, higher-level Snow Melting Competition while watching the Territory's competition.

There were both the elegant collective chanting of the Elves and the wild and enthusiastic war dances of the Dwarves. Of course, for humans, what they looked forward to most was the human performance. It was said that during the first opening performance, they even brought out a striptease.

Changan had already been fixed; in the future, unless the Mythallar was rebuilt, it would be difficult to have a breakthrough in volume. On the contrary, Yongle City, which looked smaller now, could continue to expand before reaching its limit.

During the duration of the upcoming Snow Melting Competition, Changan would not be open to the outside, and the Portal originally connecting the Azure Manor in Seventon to the Code Plaza in the Nan Jing would also be temporarily disabled.
