Chapter 3002: Successive Experiments, Successive Discoveries

————It will be a bit later~~

————

Almost seconds after Saville reminded Xia Duo, the Ether Mist, which had already been so dense it was nearly a solid color, changed once again.

It was as if it were collapsing inward, revealing a clean void that formed a stark contrast with the surrounding mist; or perhaps the solid color suddenly clarified, like a piece of transparent Crystal.

In a very short time, the state of the Ether Mist underwent an unprecedented change. Xia Duo curiously examined the transparent "Crystal" about ten meters ahead, which was still surrounded by mist on the periphery, and muttered:

"Is this the Ether Boundary?"

"If the data provided by that golden dragon is not fake, this should be the Ether Boundary. Maintaining this state is currently quite easy." Although he said this, the expression on Saville's face was still quite serious.

"But if you want it to 'reflect' other Planes around the Main Plane, this current state alone is not enough; you still need to continuously gather Ether Mist."

"Can you continue?" Xia Duo asked.

"Yes, no problem."

"Are you still maintaining it?" Xia Shao asked Saville.

Passing through the Ether Protection of the Floating City and returning to the interior of the Floating City, Xia Shao and Saville then released their spiritual states, but neither of them mentioned resting at that moment.

"Let's talk about the rest later, first let's see what's going on with the other three detected Plane Beacons!"

……

Four Plane Beacons were thrown toward the four color blocks corresponding to the four Planes—these color blocks appearing in the Ether Boundary were actually the phantoms of adjacent Planes seen through the Ether Boundary.

There was still one that hadn't been searched. Xia Shao speculated that either it was damaged due to some accident during the transmission process, or the environment of that Plane was special and did not support the normal operation of the Plane Beacon.

Although it is a Plane Beacon used to mark Other Planes, one must also consider the cost. It is impossible to make it an adaptive version like Arcane Fire; one can only lean as much as possible toward a general-purpose direction while maintaining a relatively high cost.

Therefore, after the Portal opened, Xia Shao immediately projected a Perception Field into the space on the opposite side of the Portal using the Portal as a medium.

This Spell can not only be used for the Arcanist themselves, but also for other people or objects, just as a Teleportation Spell can also transport other people or objects. This is essentially a Teleportation Spell, it just uses a different Principle than traditional Teleportation Spells.

According to the Spell data provided by Pulitatisi, that is a new Plane!

Xia Shao circled around and even flew above the Ether Boundary to look. He discovered a total of four different color blocks, which meant that this first experiment had discovered four different new Planes!

It wasn't until six minutes later that Xia Duo saw a light spot glowing with red and white colors from the center of the Ether Boundary, which looked like a transparent Crystal.

As long as it is confirmed to be a new Plane, then this Ether Boundary Exploration has great potential. Just half a day's work exceeded the total discoveries of the Tower of Time over the past few years.

Xia Shao finished deploying the Plane Beacons, and Pulita also timely stopped the Spell maintaining the Ether Boundary. That Ether Boundary, which looked like a transparent Crystal, instantly erupted with a large amount of pale Ether Mist after losing the external force maintaining it.

……

As Saville continued his Spell, that tiny light spot gradually enlarged into a light red color block, with edges nearly transparent, as if a drop of red ink had dripped into water and bled outward.

……

The "Plane" in a Plane Portal only refers to the energy level invested in opening the Portal and the degree of change to the form of the Ether Plane; what is actually connected may very well be a certain area of the same Plane.

"It looks like a new Plane, but we still need to confirm it further."

"Mm, I'm coming right now."

——【Aether Boundary Crossing】

If this were the old me, it would be hard to imagine!

During the flight, Xia Shao saw the white forest below, which was originally turbid and visible, shrouded in a layer of thick Ether Mist centered on the area where the two had experimented.

In the process of the large amount of mist rapidly spreading, it even formed a scene similar to surging, towering sea waves.

Xia Shao let Pulita rest for a while, and he personally operated the Plane Exploration Array to search for the four Plane Beacons he had just deployed. The results were very gratifying——

While chatting with Saville, Xia Shao activated the Portal function of the Preparation Teleportation Hall and opened a Plane Portal using the first Beacon as a guide.

Almost simultaneously, they chose to teleport to the Tower of Time, which was currently docked in the Research Zone.

At this time, he and Saville were not in the same perspective, but I imagine the light red color block Saville saw also went through such a change process, so Saville's voice sounded a bit urgent next——

From the initial casting to the formation of the Ether Boundary, it took less than three minutes, but letting the Ether Boundary continue to deepen took at least double the time.

Just as Pulita finished saying this, Xia Shao saw one of the color blocks in the Ether Boundary suddenly shrink, and then enlarge again.

Xia Shao walked away from Saville, still maintaining a distance of about ten meters from the Ether Boundary, and circled around it. The light red color block seen from Saville's direction would disappear bit by bit after the viewing angle deviated to a certain extent, but what appeared in Xia Shao's field of vision then became color blocks of other colors.

Xia Shao synchronized his Scrying results to Saville while continuing to beacon, using the Perception Field projected to the opposite side of the Portal as a medium to beacon and detect the state of the Magic Net in the environment and obtain the Plane Coordinate.

Three out of four Beacons were found!

"But the Ether Boundary itself is a Critical State created artificially and cannot exist stably in a natural state. Quick! Hurry up and deploy the Beacon Magic Artifact!"

"How is it? Is it a new Plane?" Pulita was also very concerned about this question at the first moment.

Tower of Time, Plane Exploration Layer, Preparation Teleportation Hall.

Saying this, Xia Shao unfolded his Thought Robe on his right hand into the Private Magic Web state. Although this state could not replace his Spellcasting, it could minimize the damage of Spellcasting failure as much as possible.

"It's still possible, as long as we don't continue to increase the Ether concentration, maintaining this action itself is not difficult."

What Xia Shao was currently transmitting were the four Plane Beacons that had been prepared long before Pulitatisi appeared. After being blessed with the 【Aether Boundary Crossing】 Spell, they were thrown directly toward one of the color blocks in the Ether Boundary.

An Arcanist's own Arcane Fire expansion also has a similar effect, but it is still not as good as the Thought Robe that has been woven into a Mythallar. With this guarantee, Xia Shao dared to cast an "unknown" Spell under uncertain circumstances.

At the same time, Xia Shao had already locked onto the Floating City Yongle above his head, and before the mist spread to them, he quickly flew toward the Floating City with Saville.

After a moment, a look of joy appeared on Xia Shao's face, "It is a new Plane, I didn't expect to discover a new Plane so easily!"

Saville responded, then continued to cast the Spell, but at this step, there was no need to start over like before; instead, while maintaining the Spell that had just created the Ether Boundary, he continued to gather Ether Mist.
