Chapter 3136: Xia Shao's Collection That Even the Golden Dragon Is Surprised By

"Council members should know that the Astral Plane possesses its own inherent, special temporal properties; generally, it can be understood as time ceasing to flow for biological organisms.

"This means the Astral Plane can become a final refuge for certain dying individuals. As long as they do not return to the Material Plane, even if they have only one second of life left, that second will freeze upon them and never pass.

"This is the experience of the dying, but for those who wish to grow and develop, the Astral Plane is a dead zone they desperately need to escape. You can imagine, if time does not flow, how can one conceive offspring? How can an infant grow up?

"The Astral Plane is not a peaceful place; there are conflicts and wars. Because of the characteristic that time does not flow, injuries do not heal naturally. Once the population decreases, it is fundamentally impossible to replenish it naturally.

"Therefore, almost every Astral power will try to find a base in a material world, which can be used to recover the wounded and, most importantly, to raise offspring.

"After all, if injuries cannot heal naturally, one can still use Magic to recover, but Magic cannot create normal offspring out of thin air.

"Perhaps it is possible—after all, my understanding of the true situation in the Astral Plane is also very limited—but what is certain is that even if one could create offspring through Magic, the cost is extremely high and cannot be popularized across the entire race.

"So, this is the fundamental contradiction between the residents of the Astral Plane and the natives of the Material Plane: Habitable Planes are the survival grounds we cannot afford to lose, and at the same time, they are the breeding grounds they desperately want to obtain!"

After Pulitatisi finished speaking, the small conference room fell into a long silence. Even Xia Shao frowned deeply. According to what Pulitatisi said, this world is truly chaotic beyond measure!

Calimshan invades the Elemental Plane to obtain Elemental Essence; Astral conquerors invade the Material Plane to obtain breeding grounds.

It is just that in that Magic world, it is the same on Earth. Primitive people might have their entire tribe wiped out because of a sudden change in good weather, but such a crisis, when placed before modern people, might not even be as significant as hearing a weather forecast and adding an extra layer of clothing, and it might not even leave much of a trace in their hearts.

Thinking of the war cases he saw in his hometown, Pulitatisi could not help but sigh sadly, "Even if the Astral conquerors are successfully expelled in the end, the price is often the destruction of a Plane.

"If it is impossible to eliminate the Lingneng Dashi in advance, then there is only one way: build a Cross-Domain Teleportation Link to my hometown as soon as possible. In the domain where my hometown is located, Astral Invaders are the common enemy of all intelligent races."

He did not expect that an Astral threat would emerge now. A small Main Plane has so many issues. Such a reality makes Xia Shao suspect that even if other large Habitable Planes are found, can one truly live in peace?

"Is there any possibility of peaceful coexistence?" a council member asked.

At that moment, he did not know why, but Xia Shao's desire to explore new Planes faded quite a bit. He understood that running away could not truly solve the problem. To truly resolve the crises and difficulties encountered at present, there is only one path to take, and that is—

If it can be said that ideologies can change, then the objective needs of reality are very difficult to change. Conquering intelligent beings can obtain Psionic Energy reserves; Psionic Energy can supplement Psionic power and can be used to forge Artifacts.

"In my hometown, the study of Psionic power is an absolutely forbidden Domain, because too many cases have told us that as long as a Plane gives birth to Psionic power, it is ultimately unavoidable to encounter the invasion of Astral conquerors."

Some of these threats to the Main Plane are characteristic of the Main Plane, but more are the various potential crises that are difficult to avoid when living in this world.

Development!

There is only one kind of place that does not need development and does not need to face crises, and that is a greenhouse kept in captivity. By becoming a pet and surrendering one's subjectivity, one does not need to consider the future.

Xia Shao himself is certainly unwilling. The ideology of "man can conquer nature" inherited from his hometown has long been rooted deep in his consciousness. Moreover, the reason why a human is a human is precisely because he can use his own Wisdom to overcome a harsh environment and create a new world!

Pulitatisi pondered for a moment and told everyone, "According to my current understanding of Netheril and the Northland Alliance, it is almost impossible for you to defeat those powerful conquerors from the Astral Plane.

As soon as these words were spoken, the air in the conference room cooled by several degrees. Badijiaer immediately replied, "Completely erasing the Lingneng Dashi is not realistic. Are there any other suggestions?"

But modern people also have crises that they cannot solve, such as a meteorite hitting Earth, so modern people also need to constantly develop.

……

Therefore, the words of Pulitatisi immediately silenced the council members in the conference room who knew the true situation of Zhamu Dasi, and Xia Shao was no exception.

Only when one is strong can those problems that originally seemed difficult to solve have the possibility of being resolved. Although one might encounter new crises and new difficulties after becoming strong, these are not reasons to resist development.

The Main Plane is just one of countless Material Planes. Originally, Xia Shao thought that after solving the Demon Descendant, the Dragon Madness Mythallar, and the potential threat of the Holy Golden Dragon Empire, the Main Plane should be able to obtain a long period of development.

If one were to select the most evil country in the Main Plane, Zhamu Dasi could definitely rank first.

"If the Main Plane is subjected to an Astral invasion, the domain where my hometown is located is very willing to help, because once Astral Invaders take root in the Material Plane, the price required to expel them later will only be greater."

He had previously obtained the memories of two Zhamu Dasi Lingneng Dashi; he knew the nature of those people in Zhamu Dasi too well. They constantly conquer, partly because of the ideology passed down by their Psionic mentors—Psionic power dominates everything.

"I just said it: Psionic power is a very evil force. Anyone who masters Psionic power is extremely aggressive and views the enslavement of other living beings as an instinct. The Lingneng Dashi of the Main Plane have not yet developed to that point, only because they are not strong enough yet. Once they are stronger than you, then you will be in trouble."

"Other suggestions?"

There is also the war and plunder between Material Planes, just like Imaska plundering the Mulan people.

Pulitatisi is, after all, a visitor from an outside domain. What he does not know is that Zhamu Dasi has long since shown extremely strong aggression. Almost all wars in the south of Xilu are inseparable from Zhamu Dasi.

In this series of conflicts, the Licheng Weimian has not stayed out of it either. The Abyss is constantly thinking about invading the Material Plane, and even the gods do not necessarily have an attitude toward the Material Plane that is as indifferent as they appear.

I am afraid that in all likelihood, every family has its own difficult problems to deal with!

But is this a choice that a normal person can make?

It can be said that even the most peaceful Lingneng Dashi, at most, only criticizes the selection of an inappropriate enemy above, rather than questioning the correctness of conquest itself.

"If possible, I suggest that you immediately unite with other countries to completely erase the Lingneng Dashi from this Plane; that might still offer a glimmer of hope."
