Chapter 1077: Strength Enhancement

Ye Liuyun this whole way, has also collected many medicinal herbs, often moving them piece by piece into the Space World.

Later, he simply moved a whole forest into the Space World for each segment of distance.

His Space World kept expanding, many places were still empty, and this time he added a large area, forcibly moving a small forest out.

Ye Liuyun and his companions at this moment have already engaged a Creation Fifth Layer ancient ape.

Yuan Datou, through his own effort, killed a Creation Fifth Layer ancient ape, carefully collected the Primordial Pill after extracting it.

"Ha ha, this is my best result yet!" he exclaimed joyfully.

After each battle, they take out the Primordial Pill from the ancient ape they hunted, keeping it as future cultivation material.

But Yuan Datou especially cherishes the Creation Fifth Layer Primordial Pill he himself killed.

From then on, their battles all centered on Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun has never used a divine artifact, wanting to see how far he can go with bare fists.

When he reached a Creation Sixth Layer ancient ape, to prevent Yuan Datou and others from being injured, Ye Liuyun placed them into the Space World to rest, and continued fighting forward himself.

Without Yuan Datou and others interfering, Ye Liuyun could often kill several ancient apes with a single palm strike.

Therefore, most of his time is spent gathering herbs and moving trees.

Fighting up to the Creation Eighth Layer, Ye Liuyun finds it relatively easy, and the more he fights the smoother it becomes.

To deal with Creation Eighth Layer ancient apes, Ye Liuyun also employs Blade Intent, Spatial Power, and Primordial Spirit Secret Technique, and it is likewise not dangerous.

Moreover, his Physical Body's defense grows stronger the more he fights.

Raising his strength layer by layer is truly ideal for a Martial Cultivator to boost power.

Even when faced with a swarm of Creation Eighth Layer ancient apes attacking simultaneously, his Physical Body can still endure with no sign of injury.

"Next time, a Creation Ninth Layer ancient ape should appear!"

Ye Liuyun's current attack methods are all nearly exhausted. Continuing further, other methods become far less effective, so he must use Spiritual Soul Attack.

Yet this ancient ape Secret Realm seems endless, as if one can never reach its end. It is unknown what tiers of ancient apes lie within.

Even if he unleashes his Divine Sense here, he cannot probe very far.

Soon, the next batch of ancient apes rushes forward, led by a Creation Ninth Layer ancient ape.

Ye Liuyun unleashes Spatial Power, Primordial Spirit Secret Technique, Blade Intent, Qiankun Palm and other forces, yet remains evenly matched with that ape.

The other ancient apes have already been annihilated by him.

"I won't believe it!" Ye Liuyun did not use the Vajra Divine Bow, nor Spiritual Soul Attack, but instead wrestled that ape head‑on.

In the end, only after draining that ape's True Essence did he finally defeat it.

However, Ye Liuyun did not kill it, but released it back.

He wants to see what consequences arise from returning an ancient ape.

He himself is also nearly exhausted, so he swapped with his clone, letting the clone continue fighting.

Yet the next attack brought double the ancient apes, most of which are Creation Ninth Layer.

"Why did it double?"

He asked Yuan Datou, only then learning what Yuan Datou's initial warning meant.

"Those ancient apes must be killed; otherwise if you let one escape, the next wave will double," Yuan Datou explained.

Ye Liuyun regrets endlessly, wishing he had never let it go.

But now, to him, a group or two groups makes no difference. Since combat alone can't handle so many ancient apes, he must resort to Spiritual Soul Attack.

Thus Ye Liuyun, while using his Physical Body to bear their attacks, pulls each Spiritual Soul with his Golden Pupil.

These ancient apes' Souls eventually become nourishment for his clone's Soul cultivation.

Then, the next battle again switches to Ye Liuyun.

This time, Ye Liuyun releases a Creation Domain to resist attacks, and those ancient apes also release a Creation Domain to counter him.

Now Ye Liuyun gains a huge advantage. His Creation Domain contains three Guardian God Seals.

So anyone daring to counter him is directly destroyed in the Physical Body, and their Souls are absorbed within the Creation Domain.

The next wave of attacks comes from the Imperial City clone. The clone's Creation Domain has only one Thunder‑Fire Vajra Guardian God Seal, so its effect is far weaker.

Thus most of the time, he wins by using Spiritual Soul Attack.

Afterwards, the clone no longer uses Creation Domain, but directly employs Spiritual Soul Attack.

When Ye Liuyun himself meets a Di Zun First Rank strong opponent, he also dares not use Creation Domain, fearing it will be destroyed, and uses only Spiritual Soul Attack.

In this way, Ye Liuyun continuously absorbs these ancient apes' Souls, and his and his clone's Soul power slowly rises.

Ye Liuyun kept using Spiritual Soul Attack, and when fighting a Di Zun Fifth Rank opponent, he began to feel some strain.

Therefore, he and his clone together faced the enemy, also employing Divine Arrow, to deal with a Sovereign Sixth Layer ancient ape.

"Let this be the end!"

Ye Liuyun's experiment thus comes to an end.

He now knows he can handle a Sovereign Fifth Layer Martial Cultivator, but to deal with a Sovereign Sixth Layer Martial Cultivator he still needs to further boost his Soul power.

So he folds away his clone and begins to retreat.

Yet as he withdraws, the ancient apes begin to give chase.

However, the pursuing ancient apes do not increase in tier. Each time it is a Sovereign Sixth Layer ape leading a group of Sovereign Fifth Layer apes to hunt him.

Seeing this, Ye Liuyun retreats slowly, continuously absorbing these ancient apes' Souls.

By the time he leaves the ancient ape Secret Realm, he can already battle that Sovereign Sixth Layer ape with only his own Soul power, without needing his clone or the Vajra Divine Bow's aid.

And his Mysterious Origin, constantly worn down and refined, has increased in quality, advancing his realm to the late Creation Fourth Layer.

His Physical Body also becomes sturdier; he can now fully withstand attacks of the Sovereign Fourth Layer.

"It seems only my realm is lagging! I must hurry to improve it!"

Ye Liuyun thought of this, released Yuan Datou, Bai Hu, and Shi Yuan, and left the Ancient Ape Secret Realm together with them.

He was very satisfied with the training from this entry into the Secret Realm.

Heaven and Earth Power, Mysterious Origin quality, Physical Body, Soul, and other strengths have all increased; moreover, a large amount of medicinal herbs were gathered, and inside the Space World, a forest has also appeared.

They also gathered a considerable number of the Ancient Ape origin cores.

Especially Ye Liuyun, who gathered a large amount of high-rank Ancient Ape origin cores. These are all sufficient energy resources, enough for him to absorb for a while!
