Chapter 133: Ferocious Beast Qiong Qi

After being marked with a Soul Imprint, Bai Hu told him that what it guards is a shapeshifting fruit, and begged Ye Liuyun to keep it for it.

Ye Liuyun immediately told Bai Hu that he could refine alchemy, turning the shapeshifting fruit into a pill, which would be more effective and could be given to more ferocious beasts.

Bai Hu was a bit skeptical, but there was nothing he could do. A ferocious beast marked with a Soul Imprint cannot conceive of rebelling against its master and must obey completely.

Bai Hu led him to retrieve the shapeshifting fruit and also unearthed a metallic monster core. It was left by its parents. Unfortunately, the local rules forbid keeping it, so it's useless.

Ye Liuyun patted its head and promised, "Don't worry, I'll take your things now and will replenish them for you later."

The battle outside had ended, and Lei Ming and the others were already cleaning the battlefield. Bald Vulture also descended to feed.

All the bodies were placed by Lei Ming into a Storage Ring, and the Giant Stone Ape and Fire Wolf immediately started devouring the broken pieces.

Bai Hu also lunged forward to snatch food; with a low growl, the Giant Stone Ape, Fire Wolf, and Bald Vulture instantly stepped aside, unwilling to contest the Killer God. They left no waste among the scattered corpses.

Ye Liuyun and Lei Ming slipped to the side and began roasting meat.

Lei Ming transformed into human form, obediently staying by Ye Liuyun's side.

When the meat was done, Bai Hu, Fire Wolf, Giant Stone Ape, and Bald Vulture all gathered around. Smelling the aroma, they drooled.

So Ye Liuyun had to share his own meat with them and kept grilling, but his cooking speed couldn't keep up with the four of them.

He then produced a pill cauldron, enlarged it, stewed a massive pot, adding herbs and spices. This finally let him have something to eat.

After eating their fill, Ye Liuyun gave Bai Hu a Healing Elixir; once it fully recovered, they continued on their way.

Going further forward led to the central area of this Secret Realm.

Ye Liuyun asked Bai Hu what lay in the central area. Bai Hu replied it had never entered. There were Formations inside; before it even saw any creature, it suffered a heavy loss, so it dared not go in again.

Upon arriving, Ye Liuyun found the central zone to be a valley, and inside stood a Grand Hall.

He didn't dare enter lightly, so he sent Bald Vulture to circle overhead and scout the situation below.

What he never expected was a fire‑red ferocious beast leaping out of the Grand Hall, eyes as big as bells, a square broad snout, wings on its back, emitting deep red flames, soaring straight up to attack Bald Vulture.

Ye Liuyun shouted, hurriedly drew his Blazing Sun Bow and shot at the beast, but the beast moved extremely fast, clamped its jaws on Bald Vulture and dragged it down.

"Ah!" Ye Liuyun stamped his foot in anger. Soon, he felt the Divine Soul Contract between Bald Vulture and it vanish.

He hadn't expected that a routine scouting would cost Bald Vulture its life.

"Little brother, that's Qiong Qi! An ancient divine beast, Qiong Qi!" Lei Ming grabbed his shoulder, urging Ye Liuyun not to act rashly.

"I don't care what kind of beast it is; it killed my companion, and today I'll definitely slay it to avenge my partner!" Ye Liuyun's fury made his eyes seem able to spew fire.

Bald Vulture never left him in his toughest moments; they had already forged a deep bond!

Ye Liuyun's eyes reddened, and he headed straight for the Grand Hall.

But after two steps he regained some sense. "You wait here; I'll go in alone."

He also feared Lei Ming and the others might get into trouble, so he kept them outside. With the strength of these ferocious beasts, no one should be able to trouble them.

Then he activated his Illusion Pupil and charged toward the palace.

Although he didn't understand Formations, the Illusion Pupil could spot their flaws. As long as he found a flaw, he could break it with force, not necessarily have to fully decipher it.

The Formation surrounding the palace had three layers inside and three layers outside.

Ye Liuyun, though impatient, dared not rush in, so he had to dismantle each Formation one by one.

"Huh? This kid's got skill! He actually broke the Formations!" Qiong Qi inside suddenly spoke, watching Ye Liuyun's breach with curiosity.

Ye Liuyun spent a full day to break the three-layer Formation. Yet as his understanding grew, his speed increased; the remaining Formations he cleared in half a day.

Facing the hall doors, Ye Liuyun punched through, shattering them outright.

"Beast! Get out here and repay your life!" Ye Liuyun roared.

From afar, Lei Ming, Bai Hu and the others saw this and couldn't help but feel deeper respect for Ye Liuyun. They hadn't expected him to be so formidable, breaking so many Formations.

From outside they watched clearly; in a day and a half, Ye Liuyun broke no fewer than a hundred Formations.

But as Ye Liuyun entered the hall, they could no longer see what happened, so they just waited outside.

Qiong Qi had been waiting in the Grand Hall; seeing him come in, it sneered, "If you've got the skill, come beat me!"

Ye Liuyun was stunned. This was a talking Monster Beast, not a ferocious beast. That at least indicated its high intelligence, not to be treated as an ordinary ferocious beast.

Thus he cautiously activated his Illusion Pupil, seeing the Formation surrounding Qiong Qi. The creature stayed within a massive array, hiding inside.

Ye Liuyun said nothing more, drew his Blazing Sun Bow and began shooting at it.

Every massive array requires energy to operate. Ye Liuyun's purpose with the Blazing Sun Bow was to drain that energy. Each arrow at Qiong Qi triggers the array once, and the array's consumption far exceeds his own.

So he fired arrow after arrow. Qiong Qi, seeing this, was startled but pretended composure, taunting Ye Liuyun with words.

He said things like "Bald Vulture's meat isn't tasty, its bones aren't crunchy," and so on.

At first Ye Liuyun was provoked to near madness, but the Ten Thousand Gods Command quickly calmed him. Afterwards he seemed emotionless, coldly firing arrow after arrow at a steady pace.

But he didn't notice that Qiong Qi's eyes glimmered with a sly light.

When the array's energy was exhausted, Ye Liuyun drew his Demon Slaying Sword and charged at Qiong Qi.

Seeing the Demon Slaying Sword, Qiong Qi flinched briefly, then split its massive jaws, revealing a cruel grin.

"Exorcism Stone? It does nothing to me! Little brat, you've been fooled!" he said, a surge of Divine Sense pressure suddenly manifested, enveloping Ye Liuyun.

"This Divine Soul Power is stronger than a Profound Heaven Elder! Qiong Qi is truly a Divine Soul strongman!" Ye Liuyun only then realized his regret.

He had overlooked the Soul aspect. Though the realm here couldn't be raised, the Soul has no limits.

"Hahaha, I've waited centuries, finally a chance to escape. Little one, give me your Physical Body, and I'll fulfill your final wish!"

Saying that, Qiong Qi's Soul surged straight into Ye Liuyun's Sea of Consciousness.

Ye Liuyun initially seemed panicked and regretful, but when Qiong Qi's Soul entered his Sea of Consciousness, he relaxed.

"Hehe, I wonder which of us truly got duped!" Ye Liuyun's Soul, within the Sea of Consciousness, mocked Qiong Qi.

Qiong Qi's Soul, once inside, was instantly enveloped by the Golden Light of the Ten Thousand Gods Command, immobilized completely!

Ye Liuyun had expected Qiong Qi to struggle, rage, or beg for mercy, but instead, upon seeing the Ten Thousand Gods Command, Qiong Qi was moved to tears.

"Ten Thousand Gods Command? Indeed, the Ten Thousand Gods Command! Kid, how did the Ten Thousand Gods Command end up with you?" Qiong Qi asked, trembling.
