Chapter 1509: Foraging in the Air

Based on the formation's layout, Guo Da pointed out several weak spots in the formation to Ye Liuyun, namely the locations of the formation eyes.

Ye Liuyun immediately commanded the Evil Dragon to attack those points.

The Evil Dragon's massive body gave it strength advantage; one Evil Dragon destroyed a formation eye after just a few claws.

The fragrance of the medicinal herbs instantly spread, refreshing everyone.

Luo Yun wanted to enter the formation, but Guo Da stopped her.

"We must destroy the formation entirely, or it will recover. Otherwise, once we go in, getting out again will be troublesome." Guo Da explained to everyone.

Ye Liuyun examined closely and saw that the blown-open spot was slowly recovering; he immediately had the Evil Dragon continue attacking the formation.

"Boom!" Another formation eye was blown apart.

After three spots were broken, the recovery speed became increasingly slower.

The more incomplete the formation, the slower its recovery. Soon, all six weak points Guo Da had found were blown apart.

But Ye Liuyun could see that although the formation was recovering slowly, it was still recovering; however, at the current recovery speed, they still had a chance to seize the medicinal herbs.

Guo Da also examined the formation again, searching for any remaining formation eyes.

Everyone was also not in a hurry; with no outsiders present, they didn't worry about others coming to steal.

Ye Liuyun also released his Divine Sense, paying attention to the surroundings.

"Roar!"

An Evil Dragon suddenly let out a dragon roar, alerting Ye Liuyun that a flock of birds was flying toward them from afar.

Ye Liuyun only paid attention to the nearby ground, overlooking the sky. When he looked over, he saw a group of dragonhawks, about fifty or more, rapidly approaching.

"The fragrance of the medicinal herbs has attracted the dragonhawks!" Luo Yun urged Guo Da anxiously.

Ye Liuyun immediately used Space Translocation to move some rare medicinal herbs into his Space World, while letting the Evil Dragon intercept the dragonhawks to forage freely.

These Evil Dragons, having been cooped up in Ye Liuyun's Space World, were also bored.

The sky is their true battlefield. They each let out dragon roars, flapped their wings and surged into the high sky, swooping at those dragonhawks.

The dragonhawks, hearing the dragon roar, hesitated a bit, circled in place, but still couldn't resist the lure of the medicinal herbs and charged toward the Evil Dragon.

Ye Liuyun immediately released the black-and-white pythons, letting them launch Spiritual Soul Attacks from the ground to cooperate with the Evil Dragon in intercepting the dragonhawks.

The clone also reappeared, using the Bloodthirsty Divine Bow to intercept the dragonhawks from a distance.

Meng Zhangxing was eagerly enjoying this aerial foraging.

Guo Da was also quite anxious now; probably only one or two formation eyes remained.

But if they weren't found, nobody would dare to go deep into the formation.

Luo Yun had already entered the formation and began harvesting medicinal herbs at its edge.

After Ye Liuyun translocated a few Divine Rank rare medicinal herbs, he stopped acting and turned his attention to the aerial battle.

In the air, dragon roars and eagle cries rang out; the two sides were evenly matched. Other birds dared not approach.

Compared to the Evil Dragon, the dragonhawks were much smaller, making them very agile. Moreover, about half of the dragonhawk flock were at a higher realm than the Evil Dragon.

But the Evil Dragon's large size, great strength, and strong resistance to attacks, plus the clone's arrows and the black-and-white pythons' assistance, made it hard to determine a victor for the time being.

Soon, the dragonhawks changed tactics, with over ten of them climbing onto one Evil Dragon, incessantly scratching and biting, eventually knocking that Evil Dragon to the ground.

Seeing this method work, they used the same method to attack the other two Evil Dragons.

However, the other two Evil Dragons cooperated, flying side by side, helping each other shake off the dragonhawks clinging to their backs, causing heavy losses to the dragonhawks.

After about a quarter of an hour, the dragonhawk flock had lost nearly half its members; Ye Liuyun's Evil Dragon, half-dead after a fall, was then attacked again and killed by the dragonhawks.

The other two Evil Dragons were also covered in wounds.

Because the battle was in the air, with the Evil Dragon and dragonhawks constantly circling, the clone found it hard to aim. Even when its arrows hit, sometimes they were snatched away by the claws of Tianzun Realm dragonhawks.

As for the black-and-white pythons, if the dragonhawks flew just a bit farther, their Spiritual Soul Attacks couldn't reach them.

The fight ended in a stalemate; after circling in the air for a while, both sides showed signs of retreat.

Ye Liuyun then took out the Vajra Divine Bow, waiting for the Evil Dragon to circle close, then he and his clone each leapt onto the back of an Evil Dragon, one each, and chased the dragonhawks with the Evil Dragons.

On the Evil Dragons' backs, they each fired an arrow, quickly shooting down several more dragonhawks.

Thus the dragonhawk flock completely lost its advantage and immediately retreated.

Although they were fast, they could not compare to the massive Evil Dragon; a single flap of the Evil Dragon's wings made it fly faster than several flaps of the dragonhawks.

Moreover, Ye Liuyun and his clone continuously shot the dragonhawks with bows, soon killing them all.

The dragonhawks' corpses were also each transferred into Ye Liuyun's Space World via Space Translocation after he shot them.

When Ye Liuyun and his clone returned riding the Evil Dragons, they discovered that many more birds were still flying toward this place in the sky.

However, these bird flocks were few in number, not of the same species, and not united; Ye Liuyun let the Evil Dragons forage in the sky on their own, but not too far from the mountain.

He and his clone went down and collected the corpse of another Evil Dragon.

"I found it!" Guo Da shouted, finally discovering a hidden formation eye. However, the Evil Dragons were currently occupied dealing with the birds in the air.

He therefore gathered all Tianzun Realm ferocious beasts and puppets to attack that formation eye.

"Oh no, a large number of ferocious beasts are rushing over!"

Ye Liuyun discovered that the fragrance of the medicinal herbs had also attracted ferocious beasts from afar.

These ferocious beasts were not as fast as the dragonhawks, so they arrived here a bit later.

"Speed up!" Guo Da and the others immediately urged the ferocious beasts to intensify their bombardment.

Ye Liuyun glanced at the ferocious beasts quickly approaching the mountain's base, frowned, thinking the numbers were too great; if the stalemate continued, more beasts might arrive.

"Can't wait any longer!"

Thinking this, he directly entered the formation and began transferring large patches of medicinal herbs and soil into his Space World.

He had originally intended to wait a bit, let everyone first pick what they needed, then transfer the rest into his Space World; he hadn't expected the medicinal herbs' fragrance to attract so many ferocious beasts.

Now we can only first pack up all the medicinal herbs, then distribute them later, lest we attract even more ferocious beasts.

But doing it this way is also dangerous; once the Formation closes, he could end up trapped inside.
