Those demons looked like oxen, with square noses and wide mouths, sharp horns on their heads, four claw‑like hooves. Their bodies were covered in earth‑colored scales, and they were tall and muscular.

At the Cave entrance, a blue demon mouse would occasionally run over, its mouth holding a golden ore, which it handed to a guard. After the guard collected the ore, he tossed a piece of Demon Beast meat to the blue demon mouse.

Ye Liuyun sensed the Crystal Stone and found its energy filled with a sharp metallic aura.

"It seems those demons are gathering some metallic treasure! Let's check; it might help the two of them."

His first thought was something that could help Wu Qingcheng and Yu Er boost their attacks.

But before he could arrive, the two groups were spotted by a blue demon mouse, which reported to the blue demon guard.

The Demon guard gave a shout, and a flood of blue demons surged from the Cave, attacking one Human Race group. The other group made no move to help, instead hiding to watch.

Together the two groups could easily wipe out the demons, but a single group was at a clear disadvantage, especially with the blue demon mice assisting the demons.

The blue demon mice were weak in combat but excelled at Spiritual Soul Attack, so they stayed on the outer rim, striking from afar and coordinating with the blue demons at close range, quickly slashing most of that Human group.

Ye Liuyun smiled faintly, halted, and from afar used his Illusion Pupil to look at a blue demon mouse. Immediately, that mouse reported the location of the other group to the demons, and half of the demons turned to attack the other group.

That group was also stunned, not knowing who had revealed their position. With no time to think, they leapt out and fought the demons together.

Ye Liuyun, from a distance, controlled the blue demon mice one after another, sending them into the battle circle to be slain by the Human Race.

The demons could not understand what the blue demon mice were doing, but in combat they had no time to ponder it.

In the end, the two groups were reduced to five people total, all severely wounded, and had to retreat.

The Demon side was left with just over ten people and originally did not intend to pursue.

After Lei Ming refined his spirit demons, they were absorbed into his claws and scales. Wu Qingcheng and Yu Er refined the metallic essence into their True Essence, making their future attacks sharper.

After scoring this great bargain, Ye Liuyun's group didn't linger and immediately sped west at full speed.

What they saw was a vast white icy world.

He examined the three marching groups more closely and spotted a flaw: the same movement repeated at regular intervals.

"You follow me and withdraw!" Ye Liuyun said solemnly.

Although they didn't understand, they still followed Ye Liuyun out of the snow‑covered area.

Ye Liuyun felt the Ten Thousand Gods Command was normal again and let out a breath.

"What a powerful illusion technique!" Ye Liuyun exclaimed.
