Chapter 2189: Subduing the Spirit Clan

Ye Liuyun also took the chance to plant Slave Seals on several injured powerful great beings of the Spirit Clan, bringing them into the Space World.

Especially two Xuan‑generation old men and five Qing‑generation Elders.

The Magic Vine was also quietly placed by Ye Liuyun, so that it only devours corpses and does not get involved in the fighting.

This creature also infiltrated the Spirit Clan's burial grounds from underground, dug graves and looted tombs, and found many strong beings' corpses.

The large number of strong corpses and primordial pills greatly boosted the Magic Vine's power.

After this battle, he finally had the strength to oppose multiple Ninth Layer Late Stage Martial Cultivators.

Some Martial Cultivators who had gained something gradually withdrew.

But the Spirit Clan's Martial Cultivators were all blocked by Ye Liuyun inside the Spirit Clan's base.

Anyone who dared to come out would be captured as a prisoner and added to Ye Tiandao's spearhead squad.

After three days of battle, Yao Hong finally led her Martial Cultivators out.

Ye Liuyun asked, "Now you can tell me, what exactly is your grudge with the Spirit Clan?"

At this moment, Yao Hong finally recounted her past disputes with the Spirit Clan.

"My mission is complete! Red Luan Pavilion no longer holds meaning for me.

I will give Red Luan Pavilion to Feng Hong Xiu; from now on you will manage it!

I should also enjoy my own life, travel around, see the world, and go on some adventures."

Yao Hong was also completely liberated.

Immediately she led those Martial Cultivators to rush to Royal City, handing over all the business and Martial Cultivators of Red Luan Pavilion to Feng Hong Xiu.

Only Ye Liuyun had the ability to take over such a large force of Red Luan Pavilion.

Ye Liuyun did not refuse; he wouldn't turn down ready‑made business.

He left it to Feng Hong Xiu to take over.

The fighting within the Spirit Clan finally subsided.

The Spirit Clan's energy pearls were already destroyed when the Foreign Tribe was annihilated, and ultimately could not be saved.

But at least the Spirit Clan will no longer be controlled by the Foreign Tribe.

The Spirit Clan members watching their base reduced to flat ground felt uneasy.

Even the Spirit Clan's Teleportation Array was completely destroyed!

Elders of several factions finally began to sit down for talks.

Ye Liuyun's great army still surrounded them; although they had been plundered by Martial Cultivators of various major forces, the greatest threat remained.

If Ye Liuyun acted, the Spirit Clan would be exterminated!

Yet Ye Liuyun neither advanced nor retreated, nor made any demands; he simply kept them besieged.

They didn't understand Ye Liuyun's meaning, sent someone to inquire, but Ye Liuyun directly detained the person and gave no reply.

"How about we send a few people to fight their way out?"

An Elder of the Spirit Clan suggested.

"Nonsense! Doesn't that give them an excuse to exterminate us?"

"We have no strength now to fight them desperately!"

The suggestion was immediately rejected by the others.

"In my view, they are waiting for us to elect a new Spirit Clan Clan Chief, then demand compensation from him and declare submission!"

"After all, in this great war many Martial Cultivators seized resources, yet he barely acted."

"The resources in the Treasure Vault still cannot satisfy his appetite!"

A Spirit Clan Elder analyzed.

"Indeed, he wants to unify the Eastern Region and fight the Zhongxing Wangchao, so he definitely needs us to sacrifice ourselves for him."

"Otherwise he wouldn't let us survive!"

Another Elder echoed.

"So we just become his puppets?"

Some Elder still felt dissatisfied.

"Look at our Spirit Clan's current state; life and death rest on his single thought."

"Victory or defeat, what more can we say! Ensuring the remaining clan members survive is the decision we must make!"

Some Elders finally understood.

Thus the Spirit Clan Elders, after discussion, sent several representatives to surrender to Ye Liuyun.

They also gathered all the Storage Rings and remaining Spirit Clan resources together and handed them to Ye Liuyun for disposition.

"As long as the Spirit Clan can survive, we accept all conditions proposed by Ye Wang!"

These Elders expressed to Ye Liuyun.

"Hmm! Seeing you have come to terms, I am quite pleased!"

Ye Liuyun then nodded satisfactorily and presented his own conditions.

"The Spirit Clan must collectively sign a loyalty contract to the Dongyun Wangchao, and Saintess Liang Xue shall become the new Clan Chief of the Spirit Clan, and marry into the Dongyun Wangchao as a consort.

In this way the Spirit Clan can retain its territorial range, and I will also give the Spirit Clan's holy sword to Liang Xue.

All Spirit Clan Martial Cultivators above the eighth layer shall join the Death Legion to fight against the Zhongxing Wangchao.

In return, I will return the resources in your Treasure Vault and these Storage Rings to you, so the Spirit Clan can continue to develop."

After stating his conditions, Ye Liuyun let those Elders return to discuss.

After discussion, those Elders all agreed.

After Ye Liuyun waited for them to collectively sign the loyalty contract and made Liang Xue the Spirit Clan's Clan Chief, he had Liang Xue forge the Spirit Clan's holy sword, and handed all resources to her.

Martial cultivators of the Spirit Clan above the Eighth Realm were all taken into the Sharp Blade Unit by Ye Tiandao for training.

With this, the Sharp Blade Unit even gained two Ninth Layer Summit strongmen, twelve Ninth Layer Late Stage, and over thirty Ninth Layer Mid Stage martial cultivators.

In the future, when dealing with the Zhongxing Wangchao, this force can also serve as a spearhead.

Liang Xue selected the Elder Group from the remaining people, had them all sign Divine Soul Contracts with her, handed over resources for them to guard, and she took the Spirit Clan's holy sword, followed Ye Liuyun back to the Royal City, and became his queen.

The sealing formation of the Underworld Gate was also broken by Ye Liuyun, and the two passages between the Underworld and the Divine Realm were fully opened.

The Underworld now has enough strong ones to resist the impact of Divine Realm martial cultivators, no longer fearing the Divine Realm's threat.

The Dongyun Dynasty also announced the outcome of this great war to the entire Eastern Region.

It told all martial cultivators that the Spirit Clan is now also a part of the Eastern Region dynasty, and all martial cultivators may no longer act against the Spirit Clan at will.

After this battle, the Spirit Clan has become an ordinary power.

If the strong ones they sent to fight do not return, then their strength will be less than even the Profound Heaven Sect.

From then on, they no longer construct Teleportation Arrays.

In the entire Eastern Region, only the Dongyun Dynasty now has a Teleportation Array.

The news of the Spirit Clan's subjugation quickly reached the Zhongxing Wangchao.

Mo Xiaotian was still resentful that Ye Liuyun had eliminated the martial cultivators he had sent.

Now that he learns Ye Liuyun has defeated the Spirit Clan again, he considers Ye Liuyun an even greater hidden threat.

But the Zhongxing Wangchao now has only three ferries across its whole territory, and they are all at the Northern ferry port.

The ferries of the Southern Region and the Eastern Region were all destroyed by Ye Liuyun.

He then ordered the Northern ferries to be sent to the Eastern Region, dispatched a hundred thousand troops and a thousand strong martial cultivators, preparing to cross the Boundless Sea from the Eastern Region and launch a full‑scale attack on Ye Liuyun.

At the same time, they quickly commissioned many large, high‑grade ferries, preparing to dispatch troops to the Eastern Region in large numbers.

The current ferries can carry at most three hundred people for the small ones and six hundred for the large ones, far short of the demand for moving troops.
