Chapter 2263: All Around Ruin

Ye Liuyun thought for a moment and decided to look at the situation before speaking.

"As for how to deal with this passage, I'll decide after I go in!"

He also let Qiong Qi follow him inside, preparing that after entering the Secret Realm they would first set a simple seal on the other side to close the passage, lest the Foreign Tribe break through while they are mining.

Ye Liuyun also released the Sharp Blade Corps, stationing them around the passage, ready to attack.

Once the passage is unsealed and a Foreign Tribe emerges, they must launch an attack immediately and drive the Foreign Tribe back.

Then the Formation Masters began to dispel the Formation.

But the pressure emitted by these Ninth Realm Sharp Blade Corps soldiers frightened the Demon Race.

The uniforms and armor of these soldiers, and the formation they displayed, were all too familiar to the local Demon Race.

The Witch was also startled upon seeing this.

She had originally thought Ye Liuyun's Sharp Blade Corps were very strong, and that they would not be opponents even for a short time.

However, after feeling the pressure of these three thousand Ninth Realm mid‑late soldiers, she realized that this gap was not something that could be bridged in a short time.

Even if the Demon Race were given several decades, they could not cultivate so many strong ones.

Even some Elder and strong ones of the Demon Race who had previously been defiant, upon seeing these three thousand, instantly lost their temper.

Just these people could wipe out the Demon Race completely.

"You brought the strongest forces?"

"If something goes wrong, what will happen to your dynasty?"

The Witch tentatively asked Ye Liuyun.

"Impossible! This is only a small portion!"

Ye Liuyun deliberately said it offhand.

He was also very satisfied with the Demon Race's reaction, lest these people always have ulterior motives.

"……"

The Witch was completely at a loss for words.

She also believed that Ye Liuyun could not possibly use all his power here.

That meant Ye Liuyun still had at least three thousand of this Ninth Realm strength, plus his hundreds of thousands of troops…

"Alas! The Demon Race can at least retain a piece of territory, and that's good!"

She suddenly felt that Ye Liuyun still had no racial prejudice; otherwise, the Demon Race should already have ceased to exist.

After the Formation was broken, the evil aura of the Foreign Tribe immediately spread over, but it was not especially strong, and no Foreign Tribe emerged for the time being.

After waiting for a while, Ye Liuyun had Ye Tiandao send a ten‑person squad to scout ahead.

At the same time, Ye Liuyun ordered the Formation Masters to set up a Teleportation Array for the Demon Race, to facilitate sending troops from the central empire to guard the passage.

Three days later, the Teleportation Array linked up, and three members of the scouting squad returned from the passage, bringing back some demon‑purging stones.

Ye Tiandao also reported to Ye Liuyun: "Master, they searched for three days but saw no Foreign Tribe; there are indeed demon‑purging stone veins inside."

According to their judgment, that world seems to have been abandoned after being invaded by the Foreign Tribe.

Currently they have left three people to guard the passage entrance on the other side, and four continue to probe farther.

"Send an additional hundred troops to expand the scouting range there."

"Keep the units at a certain distance, report every hour."

Ye Liuyun ordered.

Ye Tiandao immediately made the arrangements.

At this time, Ye Liuyun also had Yuan Hao lead twelve thousand Ninth Realm Martial Cultivators through the Teleportation Array to the Demon Race, to replace Ye Tiandao's Sharp Blade Corps in garrison there.

This shocked the entire Demon Race.

They had not expected the Sharp Blade Corps to have so many strong ones.

This is definitely an existence they can never surpass.

The Witch could only shake her head helplessly, unable to say anything, and could only watch silently.

Half a day later, Ye Liuyun also had Ye Tiandao take a thousand Sharp Blade Corps members and Kuailei to build defenses and a garrison.

After confirming safety, Ye Liuyun then led Qiong Qi and another two thousand Sharp Blade Corps soldiers into the passage.

As soon as they left the passage, they released their Divine Sense to probe this world.

What their Divine Sense saw was a scene of ruin everywhere.

Passing through the nearby collapsed buildings, one could indeed see that this had once been a human settlement.

But the whole world was filled with the evil aura of the Foreign Tribe, with not a trace of spiritual energy.

Judging from the scale of the architecture, the former city here was not small, but it had been devastated by the Foreign Tribe into a shattered wasteland, unable to regain its former glory.

Ye Liuyun's Divine Sense could also be fully released, encountering no obstruction, covering a vast area, yet it truly saw no Foreign Tribe or Corpse Demon.

Qiong Qi also reminded Ye Liuyun: "Corpse Demons can hide for a long time; even if the Foreign Tribe has withdrawn, they should have left some Corpse Demons to guard against any missed humans."

Ye Liuyun approved this view and immediately ordered Ye Tiandao's Sharp Blade Corps to focus on defending the passage entrance.

He also had Yuan Hao lead troops into the passage to expand the alert range.

Then he also had Yu Xiaofeng bring some soldiers to help with mining.

After Yuan Hao entered the passage, the sixty‑thousand troops that Yu Xiaofeng sent soon arrived via the Teleportation Array to the Demon Race.

And these Death Legion troops, the lowest realm among them are all Sixth Layer.

The Demon Race had been completely cowed by the central empire and lost all temper.

After these sixty‑thousand troops arrived, ten thousand guarded the Teleportation Array and the passage, while the remaining fifty thousand reported to Ye Liuyun.

Demon‑purging stones are not scarce here, but the quantity is limited; Ye Liuyun also ordered Yuan Hao to allocate half his forces, taking these fifty thousand soldiers and splitting them into several groups to search for abundant mineral veins.

Ye Liuyun and Qiong Qi went to the nearby city ruins to investigate, while also searching for traces of the Foreign Tribe and Corpse Demons.

They explored the nearby big city, and even found some resources that the Foreign Tribe couldn't use from the remnants of the merchant guild.

"It seems the people here aren't very high in cultivation, but they're probably a mix of Human Race and Demon Race living together!"

Ye Liuyun analyzed the remaining weapon grades from the merchant guild.

Inside there were also many weapons used by the Demon Race or Demon Cultivators.

"Hmm, the formation set up here earlier wasn't very sophisticated."

Ye Liuyun even used his Golden Pupil to find several Martial Cultivator and Demon Race elemental cores buried under the ruins, but he realized their cultivation levels were all below the Divine Realm.

Then they went on to several more cities ahead; the situation was similar, but the further they went, the fewer Human Race Martial Cultivators seemed to be.

Even the architectural style leaned more toward the Demon Race style.

"This is very likely the Demon Race's Mortal Realm! The Demon Race opened a passage between their Mortal Realm and Divine Realm, so that Martial Cultivators of the Mortal Realm, once they reached the realm, can go straight to the Divine Realm."

It's just a pity they didn't expect the Foreign Tribe to attack here and destroy their Mortal Realm.

"And they also lacked the ability to save the Demon Race's Mortal Realm."

Qiong Qi analyzed.

"Quite possible!"

Ye Liuyun also thought Qiong Qi's analysis made sense.

Moreover, they all felt that the Demon Race of the Divine Realm should know the situation of this world, but they concealed some facts.

But none of that matters now.

This world is now completely destroyed; restoring it is unlikely.
