Chapter 2621: Snatching the Prey

The Ice Bear's palm is not only strong, it also unleashes a powerful chill.

It finds these two weak humans uninteresting; even if it kills them, there is little flesh on them.

Better to deal with them first, then go after Lei Ming and Long Nv.

However, Ye Liuyun and his clone acted together, fully blocking, and the two managed to jointly deflect the Ice Bear's palm.

The chill within it was directly absorbed by Ye Liuyun and his clone.

Then they immediately used Golden Pupil to unleash Fire Flame Power, burning back at the Ice Bear.

The Ice Bear, however, erupted an even stronger Ice Power, extinguishing the flames.

"Roar!"

Lei Ming let out a mighty roar, a bolt of lightning from his horn striking the Ice Bear's head, jolting it.

Long Nv flicked her tail, striking the Ice Bear, yet the Ice Bear remained unmoved, while Long Nv's body became coated with a layer of frost.

Long Nv immediately changed tactics, brandishing a trident to spray water at the Ice Bear, intending to freeze the water with its Ice Power, increasing the difficulty of its movement.

The Ice Bear instantly froze the water Long Nv released, encasing itself within.

Ye Liuyun and his clone seized the chance to absorb Ice Power.

Yet the next moment, the ice encasement was shattered by the Ice Bear, scattering like a flurry of blades.

Fortunately, everyone's Physical Body is strong; even when struck by shards of ice, they only feel a bit of pain and are not injured.

The Ice Bear then stomped, releasing a massive ring of Ice Power that spread outward.

It intends to use this move to freeze everyone around it.

However, Ye Liuyun, his clone, and Lei Ming immediately stepped in front of Long Nv, bearing the Ice Power.

The three of them have all cultivated Ice Power.

Though not as strong as the Ice Bear, their combined effort can still block its strike.

At this moment, Wu Qingcheng, Man Shu, and Xiao Lanbing were also drawn by the Ice Power.

They also joined the fight against the Ice Bear.

The six individuals wielding Ice Power together challenged the Ice Bear.

Long Nv retreated to a distance, spraying water at the Ice Bear while releasing Bloodline Power to disrupt its attacks.

The Ice Bear found its Ice Power repeatedly blocked by these people, and grew increasingly irritable.

As it was about to unleash a frenzied assault, Wu Qingcheng's illusion technique took effect.

Although Wu Qingcheng's strength is inferior to the Ice Bear's, her illusion technique is no less impressive; the Ice Bear now sees no one else, only a fluttering, colorful snow butterfly dancing before it, dazzlingly beautiful.

Suddenly, the snow butterfly plummeted and began to melt.

The Ice Bear watched in astonishment; seeing the butterfly about to dissolve and its shimmering colors fade, it immediately spat a burst of Ice Source Power at the butterfly.

The snow butterfly instantly regained its colors and fluttered again.

At this moment, the truth is that the Ice Bear's exhaled Ice Primordial Power was immediately absorbed by everyone.

So the snow butterfly the Ice Bear sees, after only a few wing flaps, begins to melt again.

Thus the Ice Bear continuously spat Ice Source Power, and the others seized the chance to absorb it.

The six absorbed a share of Ice Power, naturally at great speed; after the Ice Bear had spewed Ice Source over ten times, it felt reluctant and began to hesitate.

At that moment, the snow butterfly suddenly curled into a ball, transforming into a small Ice Bear shape, looking at the Ice Bear with pleading eyes.

The Ice Bear, seeing a fellow of its kind, immediately kept spitting Ice Source from afar, reviving the little Ice Bear.

The small Ice Bear affectionately nudged its head against the Ice Bear, showing gratitude.

But after a while, it wilted again.

The Ice Bear, to save this little Ice Bear, became fully immersed in the illusion.

Many ferocious beasts have low intellect and are more easily controlled by illusion techniques.

Watching the Ice Bear continuously release Ice Power, it soon ran out of strength to contend with Ye Liuyun and the others.

At that moment, the approaching middle-aged Martial Cultivator rode a Hunting Falcon down from the sky.

"Who are you?"

Ye Liuyun immediately asked, noting that both opponents were Zhuanzai Erchong Second Realm, and prepared to unleash Magic Vine.

"This Ice Bear is our prey! I've been tracking it for a long time."

The middle-aged Martial Cultivator also spoke.

"No matter how long you've been tracking, after all you haven't taken action."

"Now we are the ones fighting it!"

Ye Liuyun argued logically.

However, the Martial Cultivator immediately saw the appearances of Wu Qingcheng, Man Shu and the other women, and a greedy glint flashed in his eyes.

He shamelessly told Ye Liuyun, "If you can sell me these two women, I will give you the Ice Bear."

Hearing this, Ye Liuyun immediately decided not to waste words with him.

Wu Qingcheng instantly controlled the illusion, making the Ice Bear see the little Ice Bear being shot dead by the middle-aged Martial Cultivator with an arrow.

"Roar!"

The Ice Bear, enraged, raised its forepaws and blasted a gust of cold at the Hunting Falcon and the Martial Cultivator.

Ye Liuyun and his clone immediately coordinated, using Spatial Power to try to lock the man's and the Hunting Falcon's space.

However, their Spatial Power was easily pierced by the Hunting Falcon, which carried the Martial Cultivator as he sidestepped, evading the Ice Bear's strike.

The man also drew a long spear, thrusting toward Ye Liuyun and his clone.

The Hunting Falcon below swooped toward the Ice Bear, its speed astonishing, clawing the Ice Bear and tearing its head, blood gushing.

And the Hunting Falcon, still vigorous, lunged at Lei Ming.

Only Lei Ming's head burst with a swath of Thunder and Lightning Power, forcing it to retract its claws and fly away.

The man's spear thrust wasn't slow either, but Ye Liuyun and his clone could still handle it; the Demon Slaying Sword and Heaven Devourer instantly sliced, the two combined their attack, and the overwhelming sword intent, bearing a hundred Spiritual Energy Battle Swords, sealed the man back again.

But the man produced a shield, blocking all the Spiritual Energy Battle Swords.

"Not bad strength, but unfortunately still not my opponent!"

The Martial Cultivator sneered, thrust another spear at Ye Liuyun, and the True Essence contained in that spear pierced the void itself.

At the same time, Ye Liuyun and his clone felt spatial ripples rushing toward their backs, presumably the Hunting Falcon was attempting a sneak attack.

So the two immediately produced the Vajra Shield, blocking the attack of that man and the falcon.

Then Ye Liuyun instantly employed Time Power, causing time to freeze.

The Hunting Falcon's power was too great and its speed too swift; Ye Liuyun feared it would injure Wu Qingcheng, Lei Ming, and the others.

He immediately released his Soul into the Hunting Falcon's Sea of Consciousness, planting a Slave Seal while erasing the Divine Soul Contract within its Sea of Consciousness.

Then he withdrew the Time Power, allowing the Hunting Falcon to seize the opportunity and charge at the man.

After Time Restoration, the Hunting Falcon kept flying forward, and the man paid it no mind.

But the Hunting Falcon suddenly extended its claw toward his head, catching him off guard, and he instantly twisted his head to dodge.

His head evaded, yet the falcon's claw ripped his shoulder, tearing off the arm that held the spear, and even snatched the spear away.
