Chapter 2674: On-the-Spot Settlement

Ye Liuyun saw Liu Yuanfeng agree to the auction, then continued saying: "I think here only I don't want to buy this red snake, so let me host the auction, how about that?"

It also lets me indulge my auction craving.

I'm not familiar with everyone, so I can be absolutely fair; do you all agree?

Agreed!

Master Ye is familiar with ferocious beasts; having him host the auction is just right!

Everyone also unanimously agreed, cheering in approval.

"All right, then I'll set up the auction platform; you all hurry up and prepare the Divine Crystals!"

Afterwards, Ye Liuyun roughly assembled an auction platform using a few tables.

Then he also began communicating with Liu Yuanfeng via Transmission Voice.

"These people's family influences are not small."

"If you accept credit, then when you go back, you might not actually receive much money!"

Ye Liuyun threatened Liu Yuanfeng.

"Then can we not accept credit?"

"Everything must be settled on the spot?"

Liu Yuanfeng also worried that if someone like the Sixth Prince bought it, he would later have trouble asking for payment.

"You just state your requirements; I'll act like an auction house and follow your requirements completely."

Ye Liuyun said.

"All right, I demand that payment be settled on the spot!"

Liu Yuanfeng confirmed.

"Okay!"

Ye Liuyun also pretended to agree.

Afterwards, Ye Liuyun held the little red snake, placed it on the table, and began explaining the auction rules.

"The characteristics of this red snake I've already introduced earlier; I won't repeat them here."

"According to the client's request, there are several points I must state in advance."

"The first is that the buyer of this red snake must settle payment on the spot according to the bid, and not accept credit!"

"What?"

"What if we don't have enough Divine Crystals on hand right now?"

Someone immediately raised an objection.

Especially the Sixth Prince, who immediately furrowed his brow.

He had previously gambled on beast taming with Ye Liuyun, and had almost lost all his valuables that he carried.

This condition is clearly unfavorable to him.

He also looked at Ye Liuyun, feeling that Ye Liuyun was deliberately targeting him.

The princess, meanwhile, curled the corner of her mouth; Ye Liuyun's proposal obviously aimed to exclude her biggest rival.

Ye Liuyun immediately explained: "According to the client's request, after selling the goods, having to go collect debts later is one issue; he also finds it troublesome, right?"

Ye Liuyun also asked Liu Yuanfeng to confirm.

"Yes, yes! I mainly find it troublesome!"

Liu Yuanfeng also immediately declared.

Seeing his embarrassed, timid appearance, everyone also understood.

Even the Sixth Prince, upon seeing this, no longer doubted Ye Liuyun, knowing that Liu Yuanfeng was worried he wouldn't be able to collect payment later.

Ye Liuyun continued: "Moreover, auction houses have always been debt-free."

"Since we want to imitate, we should imitate it properly."

"Anyway, we're all pretty much the same, none of us prepared."

"But if Divine Crystals are insufficient, we can use equivalent items to offset; would that work?"

Ye Liuyun then asked Liu Yuanfeng, as if seeking his opinion.

"Yes, yes!"

Liu Yuanfeng also immediately agreed.

"As long as payment is settled on the spot, he doesn't care whether he receives Divine Crystals or not."

Then Ye Liuyun explained some common auction house rules.

Finally, he set the starting bid for this red snake at fifty billion Divine Crystals, with each increment of at least one billion Divine Crystals.

This way, those lacking strength or insufficient funds are excluded.

Afterwards, the auction officially began.

Indeed, many people actively bid.

The Sixth Prince had originally intended not to participate, but seeing that the competition at the start was not fierce, he immediately raised his bid from sixty billion to eighty billion.

That amount, he could gather by pooling Divine Crystals with the soldiers on the warship, plus his own resources, and it was still enough.

But then the princess followed with a bid, directly raising the price to one hundred billion.

Moreover, several other scions of wealthy families also kept raising their bids.

Ye Liuyun's auction suited them perfectly; otherwise, they would have had no chance to compete against the Sixth Prince and the princess.

Now the competition still has seven or eight people, each quite capable, and the price keeps increasing by increments of one hundred billion.

The Sixth Prince hesitated for a moment, then gritted his teeth and called out a price equal to the Primordial Power of an entire world.

He had originally wanted to keep that amount for himself, but after the princess joined the bidding, he didn't want her to win the auction, so he decided to go all out.

Moreover, on his warship there is still a half-used Primordial Power, serving as the warship's power.

Added together, they should amount to two Primordial Powers.

After this, only five people remained in the competition.

These five people were still competing.

Ye Liuyun also knew they wouldn't back down, so he kept raising the price.

He knew that as long as the Sixth Prince withdrew from the competition, the others would be nothing to fear.

Sure enough, after the Sixth Prince added two Primordial Powers, he could no longer compete.

But there were still two people competing with the Princess.

It seemed these two also had ample financial resources.

"Just add it to three!"

Ye Liuyun briefly sent a Transmission Voice to the Princess.

Thus the Princess directly raised her bid to three Primordial Powers.

Then the other two also hesitated.

But after the two consulted, they pooled their resources and offered a price of four Primordial Powers.

"Five!"

Ye Liuyun again sent a Transmission Voice to the Princess.

Thus, following Ye Liuyun's Transmission Voice, the Princess directly raised her bid to five Primordial Powers.

Everyone was stunned by the Princess's aura.

Meanwhile, Ye Liuyun deliberately created a lull, making everyone look at those two, putting psychological pressure on them.

Under everyone's gaze, they also felt uneasy; after looking at the Princess again, they thought that raising the bid further might offend her, so they decisively gave up.

Finally, he handed the Red Snake over to the Princess.

Ye Liuyun also went through the motions of asking around, and when no one took over, he decisively struck the hammer and announced the auction's end.

Then he proactively delivered the Red Snake to the Princess, and incidentally helped collect the payment.

The Princess took the opportunity to send him a Transmission Voice: "I only have two Primordial Powers left."

"Hand it over to me."

Ye Liuyun simply said.

The Princess also took out a Storage Ring and had Hong Ling give it to Ye Liuyun.

But inside there were only two Primordial Powers.

Ye Liuyun, holding the Storage Ring in his palm, took the opportunity to insert three more Primordial Powers into it.

After walking up to Liu Yuanfeng, he opened his hand and placed the Storage Ring on his palm.

"Please check the payment!"

Ye Liuyun laughed and said to Liu Yuanfeng.

Liu Yuanfeng used his Divine Sense to look inside, and indeed there were five Primordial Powers.

He repeatedly confirmed, then thanked Ye Liuyun: "Thank you, Master Ye, thank you, Master Ye!"

If it weren't for Ye Liuyun, he would definitely not have earned this much, and might even have lost his life to the Red Snake.

So his gratitude to Ye Liuyun is warranted.

At this point, someone also reminded Ye Liuyun to collect the handling fee.
