However, when Qiong Qi broke the Formation again, the Black Water Pool remained still.

When the Formation shattered, Magic Vine, together with Qiong Qi, immediately ran back into the Formation.

Ye Liuyun instantly understood the cause, rushed out of the Formation and slashed at the monster. This time the clone held back, continuing to scan the Black Water Pool.

Ye Liuyun, the clone, Magic Vine, A Xing and Lin Feier were less affected; they were not of the Demon Race, so their reaction to the roar was not as intense.

The clone immediately played the Nine Nether Prelude again, watching the demon soul's response.

The ancient demon's soul, upon hearing the Nine Nether Prelude, instantly quieted. Even the monster fighting Ye Liuyun stopped.

Ye Liuyun ceased attacking it, merely keeping a close watch to guard against a surprise attack.

After the Nine Nether Prelude played for a while longer, the monster suddenly bolted back, leapt into the Black Water Pool, and merged with the water.
