Chapter 2888: Sudden Raid and Open Plunder

While on the march, Qiong Qi hurried to equip every ferocious beast with treasures that defend against Spiritual Soul Attacks.

Moreover, they launched a sudden raid on the location of the Zhou family's Five‑Color Refinement Stone, outright plundering it.

Thousands of beasts caught the Zhou family off guard and killed them outright. The Elder guarding the Five‑Color Refinement Stone unleashed a Spiritual Soul Attack, only to find every beast equipped with defensive treasures. Those people were instantly slain by the beasts, and the Five‑Color Refinement Stone was immediately seized by Ye Liuyun.

The Zhou family's strongmen, seeing the Five‑Color Refinement Stone taken by Ye Liuyun, simultaneously launched Spiritual Soul Attacks at him, but he remained unmoved. Instead, the attackers' souls were devoured by the Ten Thousand Gods Command, causing them to suffer backlash, while the beasts seized the chance to crush their physical bodies.

Ye Liuyun's target this time was the Zhou clan as a whole, so there were many strong ones; even with defensive treasures, the beasts could not withstand the combined assaults and kept falling.

Zhou strongmen not only cultivated Spiritual Souls; their physical cultivation also used the Five‑Color Refinement Stone, though they lacked combat experience. Still, they could hold their own against the beasts' attacks without being far inferior.

After seizing the Five‑Color Refinement Stone, Ye Liuyun led many beasts toward the Zhou family's Grand Elder. The Grand Elder did not join the fight, instead directing the battle from behind the strongmen. The Secret Realm that boosts Divine Soul Power was under his control.

Under Ye Liuyun's command, the beasts fought fearlessly to the death against the Spiritual Soul strongmen. When the Grand Elder saw Ye Liuyun charge forward, he immediately launched a Spiritual Soul Attack at him.

His Spiritual Soul Power was among the top two in the Zhou family. Confident against Ye Liuyun, he released only one soul, but as soon as it surged in, it was instantly enveloped by the Golden Light of Ye Liuyun's Ten Thousand Gods Command.

"The Grand Elder of the Zhou family truly has formidable Spiritual Soul Power!"

Ye Liuyun thought his own Spiritual Soul Power was strong enough, but the Grand Elder's soul was larger than two of Ye Liuyun combined.

Thus Ye Liuyun dared not strike the remaining soul. The Grand Elder, having taken a loss, would certainly not be foolish enough to release the other soul. Biquku

"One soul is enough!" Ye Liuyun called out, immediately ordering the other beasts to strike

and kill that Grand Elder.

He, wielding a Silver‑armored Steel‑scaled Tiger, used that Grand Elder's soul to seize the Soul Secret Realm.

The Zhou Grand Elder realized Ye Liuyun was after the Secret Realm, so he immediately called others to focus on killing Ye Liuyun.

"Block them!" Qiong Qi ordered, and all the beasts rushed to intercept the Zhou strongmen, preventing them from approaching Ye Liuyun.

As for the Spiritual Soul Attacks they launched at Ye Liuyun, Qiong Qi ignored them, knowing Ye Liuyun's Ten Thousand Gods Command could handle any number of souls entering his Sea of Consciousness.

In reality, Ye Liuyun's Ten Thousand Gods Command was now struggling to absorb. The Zhou strongmen each possessed Spiritual Soul Power stronger than his. A single soul at a time was manageable, but dozens of battle souls surged in simultaneously, and even the Ten Thousand Gods Command began to falter.

Thus Ye Liuyun could only plant Slave Seals on some of the powerful souls first, letting them aid his attack and defense, just enough to maintain a slight edge and swiftly extinguish certain souls.

His two own souls continuously emitted Nether Ghost Fire, helping accelerate the destruction of incoming souls.

This reinforced Ye Liuyun's resolve to seize the Zhou family's Secret Realm that enhances Spiritual Soul Power. The Zhou people's soul strength was that great, surely thanks to that realm.

While racing toward that Secret Realm, Ye Liuyun had already placed a Slave Seal on one of the Grand Elder's souls. Upon reaching the realm, he released that soul and directly seized the realm.

At that moment, the Grand Elder charged forward, using his remaining soul to control the realm and wrest it from Ye Liuyun.

"Quickly eliminate that Zhou Grand Elder!" Ye Liuyun transmitted to Qiong Qi.

Qiong Qi immediately commanded the beasts to bombard the Grand Elder, while the Zhou strongmen guarded around him, doing their best to slay the attacking beasts.

Seeing the beasts struggle to approach, Qiong Qi instantly ordered them to charge and self‑detonate. Beasts of the Zhuanzai Jingjie and Unified Realm possessed self‑destruct power comparable to instantly unleashing all the energy within their core elixirs.

"Boom!" a nearby Unified Realm beast self‑detonated, flinging several Martial Cultivator strongmen around the Grand Elder into the air.

Immediately again

A few Zhuanzai Jingjie beasts seized the chance, rushed forward, and again self‑detonated their core elixirs; after several blasts, they finally shattered the defenses surrounding the Grand Elder.

Tie Niu and the Silver‑armored Steel‑scaled Tiger seized the moment to blast at the Grand Elder. Though the Grand Elder's physical body was sturdy, being knocked away was not fatal.

Now, wounded, he could no longer contend with Ye Liuyun.

"Hoo—" with a whoosh, the Soul Secret Realm rose from the ground and was wholly drawn by Ye Liuyun into the Space World.

Ye Liuyun immediately sealed the Grand Elder's soul, forced the realm's control to transfer to him, and then extinguished that soul.

"Got it, retreat!" Ye Liuyun called, releasing the Spirit Cat Warship.

Qiong Qi promptly recalled all the Unified Realm beasts, leaving a few Zhuanzai Jingjie beasts to scatter around the Spirit Cat Warship and self‑detonate, blocking the Zhou strongmen's interception.

Qiong Qi seized the chance to rush into the Spirit Cat Warship. Ye Liuyun instantly activated it; the Spirit Cat Warship instantly pierced the void, fled from the Zhou, and accelerated toward the distance.

The remaining beasts were immediately ordered by Qiong Qi to self‑detonate, preventing the Zhou from capturing any alive.

After a series of booms, the Zhou family lay in ruins with heavy casualties, while Ye Liuyun's Spirit Cat Warship had long vanished without a trace.

Strongmen from across the Zhou lands kept rushing in to reinforce. The Zhou Clan Chief and Elders, each filled with grief and anger, immediately dispatched strongmen everywhere to hunt for Ye Liuyun and his companions.

Moreover, they boldly broadcast the information, ordering all Xingqiu under their control to help intercept Ye Liuyun's Spirit Cat Warship. Confident they could reclaim those realms and treasures, they left nothing concealed.

Ye Liuyun piloted the Spirit Cat Warship, moving faster than their messages; before their information could reach each Xingqiu, he had already escaped the Zhou's sphere of influence.

"More than half the beasts are dead or wounded, especially the Zhuanzai Jingjie beasts—none remain!" Qiong Qi tallied the losses and informed Ye Liuyun.

"The Tang and An families' two Secret Realms aren't something we can seize at once. We should first cultivate, boost our strength, and then go after the other two families, right?"

Ye Liuyun also thought that with their current power, attacking the other two families now would be risky, so it was better to hold off for now.
