Chapter 2972: Continuing the Exploration

But he did not confiscate their own armor and weapons; he left those to them.

When he arrived at the Tang Clan, Ye Liuyun was welcomed. Elder Wu spoke with Tang Xinyao and others about their recent experiences. Ye Liuyun immediately proposed to Elder Wu to take over the entire Demon Exorcism Corps.

Elder Wu had no objection; these people were elite disciples and elders from other families, and recruiting them would strengthen the Tang Clan. Now the whole star system is under Tang Clan's control, and they need manpower.

Thus the disciples from other families were taken down by the Tang Clan and assigned positions, which was not exactly mistreatment.

Ye Liuyun settled the Demon Exorcism Corps and prepared to take his leave.

Tang Xinyao then immediately proposed to invite Ye Liuyun to explore the Wasteland Sea World together.

"Wasteland Sea World?" Ye Liuyun asked Tang Xinyao curiously.

Even Elder Wu hesitated and did not immediately agree with Tang Xinyao.

He explained to Ye Liuyun: "The Wasteland Sea World is an as‑yet uncharted world in the Huo Yin Star System, not far from our Demon Exorcism Star System. We have heard that many treasures lie there, and we have sent people to explore it before.

But those who returned alive said they were beaten out before finding any treasure by the Martial Cultivators there. The Martial Cultivators of the Huo Yin Star System have higher realms than ours, and that Wasteland Sea World is their slaughterfield, with many vicious Martial Cultivators raiding and killing.

I know your strength well; you are still no match for them. To enter that world, you must first advance at least two realms!"

Upon hearing this, Ye Liuyun resolved to see the Wasteland Sea World. He immediately asked for directions, but did not say he would go himself.

But Tang Xinyao knew he was already interested, so she also insisted on going.

She told Elder Wu: "After we go out, we realize how vast the outside world is and how many strong ones exist. If we always hide in the clan out of fear, we will never achieve great development.

I want to take advantage of our current strong, well‑coordinated team and organize everyone to give it a try."

After considering, Elder Wu, though acknowledging her point, still felt their strength was insufficient; going would be a death sentence, so he ultimately did not agree.

Ye Liuyun made no fuss, rested briefly at the Tang Clan, then took his leave and headed alone toward the Huo Yin Star System.

What he did not expect was that his Spirit Cat Warship, barely a short distance away, was intercepted by Tang Xinyao leading eight Tang Clan disciples clad in soldier armor.

When he stopped the warship, Tang Xinyao proactively led those people aboard.

"What are you up to?" Ye Liuyun guessed vaguely that Tang Xinyao had slipped out with the disciples to explore with him.

"We also want to explore the Wasteland Sea World in the Huo Yin Star System; borrowing a bit of light from your warship is faster than traveling on foot!"

Tang Xinyao did not mention going together, fearing Ye Liuyun would find it troublesome; she only said they were borrowing the warship to save some time.

Ye Liuyun advised them: "Since Elder Wu warned that it would be dangerous, you should heed his words; he knows your strength well."

"What about you? Aren't you also going to explore there?" Tang Xinyao retorted.

"I'll first go to the Huo Yin Star System to see the situation; I may not necessarily explore that Wasteland Sea World!"

Ye Liuyun didn't lie. If he later found his strength insufficient, he wouldn't force himself.

"We're the same; idling at home does nothing. Let's go out and try our luck; we might encounter other opportunities! If it truly fails, we won't go to our deaths!" Tang Xinyao added.

"Alright then!" Ye Liuyun, seeing their agreement, consented and let the Spirit Cat Warship set off.

He also thought that after seeing the world, their hearts grew restless; keeping them in the clan to cultivate would likely make them uneasy.

Moreover, he believed traveling would help improve their strength; perhaps they would truly encounter a chance.

Tang Xinyao and the others, seeing Ye Liuyun agree to take them, all broke into delighted smiles.

But Tang Xinyao said the armor would keep them safer, and they were willing to serve as Ye Liuyun's guards.

"Don't think I don't know your intentions! You're trying to latch onto me?" Since returning them to the Tang Clan, Ye Liuyun no longer regarded them as his own soldiers.

Tang Xinyao playfully stuck out her tongue: "It's not that I'm latching onto you; they all think you're trustworthy." The others nodded, treating Ye Liuyun as their leader. Even Tang Hao now admired Ye Liuyun greatly.

Since witnessing Ye Liuyun's actions in the army and that great battle, they held him in high esteem. Serving as his guards did not embarrass them; they were proud. In a massive army, they wouldn't get the chance to guard him.

He could only shake his head helplessly. From their looks he saw their sincerity, so he thought that if danger truly arose, he couldn't abandon them.

"Sigh, bring them along; they're not a burden, and they're not weak!" Ye Liuyun thought to himself.

They all breathed a sigh of relief upon Ye Liuyun's tacit approval; they truly feared his disdain.

Ye Liuyun also released the Monster Beasts and women inside the Space World so they could get acquainted, lest misunderstandings arise in future battles.

At this point Tang Xinyao and the others learned the relationship between Ye Liuyun and the Monster Beasts and women around him.

"So many women?" Tang Xinyao was quite shocked.

The women surveyed her, then smiled at Ye Liuyun. Ye Liuyun immediately explained to them to avoid misunderstanding.
