Chapter 3114: The Magic Flood Dragons Retreat

Ye Liuyun knew he could not defeat that Magic Flood Dragon by strength alone. To prevent the Magic Flood Dragon from striking first, he had to launch his attack preemptively. He first used Time Power to freeze time, then sent his Soul rushing into the Magic Flood Dragon's Sea of Consciousness, planting a Slave Seal on it.

The Magic Flood Dragon never expected that, despite its great strength, it would be instantly controlled by Ye Liuyun. It didn't even know how Ye Liuyun had moved his hand.

Its Soul power was not stronger than Ye Liuyun's, and Ye Liuyun's current Time Power was far stronger than before, so its Soul was completely frozen at that moment and gave no response at all.

After Ye Liuyun controlled it, he had his first clone pull it into the Space World. This Magic Flood Dragon was indeed powerful, with a high realm and strong Soul power.

When it originally refined that true dragon's Physical Body, the true dragon's Golden Core also contained a Dragon Soul, and with the help of many Magic Flood Dragons, it was able to devour and absorb that Dragon Soul.

Ye Liuyun considered this Magic Flood Dragon a beast with a great opportunity, so he didn't intend to kill it immediately, but planned to keep it as an assistant.

He also learned through it that the Magic Flood Dragons had organized many Beast Kings, preparing a final interception against them.

He thought it over, didn't rush forward, and waited until both clones had finished boosting their Soul power, then had Lei Ming, Long Nv, the Vermilion Bird, Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon ready for battle, before leading the two Kuailei toward the Magic Flood Dragon base.

During the subsequent journey, he encountered no more powerful beasts. The Second Clone also emerged to practice using Red Eye; if an ordinary beast dared to block the way, he would use Red Eye to cast an illusion and then cut it down with a single slash.

The beast corpses were tossed by Ye Liuyun into the Space World to feed that Magic Flood Dragon, so that once it was full it could fight more effectively.

A day later, Ye Liuyun's Golden Pupil also saw a group of Beast Kings and Magic Flood Dragons that had been intercepting them ahead.

The Guiyi Ninth Tier beasts numbered over fifty, while the Magic Flood Dragons were even more, over five hundred, but all were at the Guiyi Seventh/Eighth Tier. It was estimated that this wave of intercepting beasts was the main force, with the Magic Flood Dragons merely providing support.

He had already gauged the strength of the Jiao group by capturing one Magic Flood Dragon, knowing they still held many reserves, so he didn't rush to let the Magic Flood Dragons act, but released both clones, Lei Ming, Long Nv, the Vermilion Bird, Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon,

and together charged forward to kill.

Moreover, this time it was Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon that led the vanguard, charging at the front, followed by Ye Liuyun and the two clones, with Lei Ming and others at the rear, while the Metal Puppet and the Spatial Puppet focused on protecting Long Nv.

The beasts, upon spotting them, let out warning roars and then surged forward together.

Ye Liuyun's party advanced silently; when they neared the beasts, Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon let out a sudden roar, their sound‑wave attack combined with a Soul‑shaking wave, launching a Spiritual Soul Attack on the beasts.

Taking advantage of the beasts' momentary stun, the two clones fired White Light in a sweeping barrage, killing a large swath of the Guiyi Ninth Tier beasts that were at the front.

Then Ye Liuyun and the two clones simultaneously unleashed Thunder and Lightning Power, a raging Heavenly Thunder destructive aura that bombarded the beasts. Ye Liuyun's Thunder and Lightning Power was the strongest, scorching the beasts it enveloped to a near‑death state, their bodies charred. The clones' Thunder and Lightning Power was slightly weaker, but still set the beasts ablaze, smoking and howling.

Immediately after, the three-headed Golden Crow was released by him and the clones into the beast herd; the beasts that had just been struck by Ye Liuyun's Thunder and Lightning Power could no longer resist and were reduced to ash, while the other beasts, after being hammered by Lightning Strike, were then burned by Golden Crow Holy Fire and lost all combat ability.

Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon simply leapt over those beasts, leaving them to Ye Liuyun and the clones, who once again employed White Light to sweep away the Magic Flood Dragons behind.

Ye Liuyun and the clones rushed forward, wielding the Demon Slaying Sword, Heaven Devourer and Golden Sword together—one slash each—relying on blade intent to cleanly slay all the remaining beasts.

Afterwards, Lei Ming, Long Nv and the Vermilion Bird charged forward, using their imposing pressure to intimidate the Magic Flood Dragons, then began killing them.

Ye Liuyun also followed Long Nv to kill, while the two clones drew bows and took up rear guard.

The Magic Flood Dragon groups behind were already shocked by their successive attacks.

That all‑destroying White Light, the annihilating Heavenly Thunder, and the all‑consuming Golden Crow were each unstoppable for them.

Bai Hu and the Nine-Head Demon Dragon's White Light swept over, the Magic Flood Dragons were either dead or wounded. Afterwards Lei Ming's Thunder and Lightning Power thundered again

among them. The range was a bit smaller, but the power was no less than Ye Liuyun's. Immediately after, a Flaming Vermilion Bird also burned forward, its all‑covering flames engulfing them all.

These over five hundred Magic Flood Dragons, as soon as the battle began, were battered into howling cries, scattering in panic, and never again mustered the courage to face them.

Ye Liuyun released the Snow Wolf to help slay the fleeing Magic Flood Dragons, then, with the two Kuailei, employed Spatial Power to chase down the dragons everywhere. Bai Hu, the Nine-Head Demon Dragon, Lei Ming and the Vermilion Bird corralled some of the escaping dragons and, together with Long Nv, struck them down.

The two clones stayed idle, guarding behind those Monster Beasts, ready to fire arrows at any ambushing beasts.

After Long Nv and the others killed all the Magic Flood Dragons before them, the clones immediately pulled them back into the Space World.

What surprised them was that, until Ye Liuyun returned with the Kuailei and Snow Wolf, the Mo Jiao Clan had not sent any more strong ones to ambush them.

Ye Liuyun actually didn't chase far; after killing a few dozen Magic Flood Dragons he withdrew immediately, as did the other two Kuailei. The Snow Wolf also slayed twenty‑or‑thirty Magic Flood Dragons and handed them over to Ye Liuyun for disposal.

At that moment they saw a massive surge of Demon Qi soaring into the sky in the distance, fleeing farther away. Both Ye Liuyun's and the clones' Golden Pupils spotted the Mo Jiao Clan's strong members among them, along with a great number of Magic Flood Dragons of varying realms, clearly indicating the whole clan was escaping.

"They actually fled! How self‑aware!"

Ye Liuyun breathed a sigh of relief; he hadn't been intent on killing every Magic Flood Dragon, so their escape was even better—it saved him trouble.

Thus Ye Liuyun sent the two Kuailei ahead to scout, while he and three clones followed the puppets, hurrying toward the Magic Flood Dragon base.

He kept the Snow Wolf close to prevent it from being ambushed.

They proceeded very cautiously, and upon reaching the valley where the Demon Race base lay, they saw the Dragon Clan tombs but no Magic Flood Dragon in sight.

After Ye Liuyun and the clones surveyed the area, they found no Magic Flood Dragons or beasts. Though the valley was thick with Demon Qi, it did not hinder their Golden Pupils' scanning. The two Kuailei also helped search everywhere, confirming no beasts were found.

"They really did escape!"

Finally, they all confirmed that there were indeed no Magic Flood Dragons or beasts here.
