When the Jin Family members returned, they saw the Underground Treasure Vault had been robbed, and the Clan Chief and the Elders were on the verge of collapse.

The three elders hidden among the crowd now summoned the Clan Chief and the Elders to the Grand Hall.

"Jin Lei, have you offended anyone lately?" one elder asked directly the Jin Family Clan Chief.

"Elder ancestor, what do you mean?" Jin Lei asked, puzzled.

"Haven't you noticed? These Corpse Demons appearing out of nowhere is strange enough, and they pursue us as if they have intelligence, targeting elite disciples. Moreover, have you heard of Corpse Demons raiding Treasure Vaults? We all think someone is controlling these Corpse Demons!"

The Jin Family Clan Chief Jin Lei had already noticed this, but he always thought an Alien Evil Artifact was directing them.

"But doesn't that Alien Evil Artifact also have intelligence?"

"That fully scaled creature is not an Alien Evil Artifact!" another elder, whose aura showed no fluctuations, explained: "It has neither the scent of an Alien Evil Artifact nor that of the Human Race. Its Divine Sense fluctuation is weak; I feel it's more like a Kuailei!"

"Kuailei?" Jin Lei immediately caught on. "Ye Liuyun? But how can he command Corpse Demons?"

"Little brother! Why do we still go? They've run out of money!" Lei Ming asked, puzzled.

"If your family were devastated like this, would you want revenge?" Ye Liuyun retorted to her.

"Of course!" Lei Ming replied.

"Indeed! The Jin Family will certainly want revenge!" Ye Liuyun explained, "Several strong members of the Jin Family have held back; they may have noticed clues and even suspect me! My coming is a warning to them. If they dare retaliate, I will ensure the Jin Family never knows peace!"

"Then what would count as them yielding?" Lei Ming asked again.

Ye Liuyun smiled, "I've made the Jin Family suffer such a huge loss; this grudge is essentially unresolvable. As one of the four great families in the Central North Region, they're used to being on top—how could they ever yield to me?"

Then he added, "But they will cancel the bounty on me! If they can't find me, they'll hint that they've yielded by withdrawing the bounty, asking me to temporarily stop sending Corpse Demons to attack them. Then they'll secretly send strong forces to kill me!"

"So you're sending Corpse Demons this time just to make them cancel the bounty on you?" Lin Feier asked, confused.

Ye Liuyun gave another wicked grin.

They found a tavern, ordered plenty of food and drink, and waited for news while eating.

After noon, the news that the Jin Family had withdrawn the bounty on him spread.

After confirming, Ye Liuyun led Lin Feier out of the county town and returned to the valley. He then released everyone, boarded a Flying Boat, and headed straight for the circle he had previously labeled number 'One'.
