Chapter 3361: Joint Attack

From here to the Holy Demon Star System, their warship can reach it in twenty days without stopping.

They had only been on the road a few days when a scouting Flying Boat reported that a massive number of Demon Race Flying Boats were flying toward their fleet.

Those Demon Race Flying Boats varied in size and departure time, but there were at least several thousand; the distances between them ranged from far to near, forming a huge mass that stretched beyond the eye's reach.

Ye Liuyun, Yu Xiaofeng and the others went out to observe, and their Golden Pupils immediately saw those Flying Boats in the starry sky.

"They're all ordinary Demon Race, not soldiers!" Ye Liuyun's Golden Pupil, seeing the farthest, saw through into the interior of the Flying Boats ahead.

Those Demon Race included all kinds of races, with realms of varying levels, and their weapons were not uniform.

"It seems the Demon Race has mobilized. We can let the Death Legion warm up, assigning a black‑armor elite soldier to protect each squad. Be careful; strong Demon Race are hidden among them."

Yu Xiaofeng immediately made arrangements. He and several Leaders also stepped out to practice.

The Demon Race inside the Flying Boats, seeing soldiers disembark from the warship, also descended from their boats and engaged in close combat.

The Death Legion split into several small squads, each with about a hundred people and five black‑armor soldiers guarding. Battles erupted throughout the starry sky, a chaotic mess.

Those with weak Divine Soul Power could not see the whole battlefield.

Ye Liuyun also took Monster Beast, the women, and the Tang Family Disciples out to fight and practice. Before leaving, he sealed the strongest Soul Sources of his two clones into the Sea of Consciousness, in case of Demon Race Divine Soul masters.

Their combination was just right, with mixed realms able to handle any situation.

Ye Liuyun did not command the fight, but his Golden Pupil and Divine Sense monitored the entire starry sky.

Soon, he locked onto a small Flying Boat. This boat blended among the masses, with only four Demon Race aboard—two in red armor, two in black armor—but all concealed their aura.

The Divine Sense fluctuations on other Flying Boats were strong, but inside this one there was not a single Divine Sense ripple.

Ye Liuyun scanned with his Golden Pupil and found that all four Demon Race were at the Ninth Layer Summit. Their Divine Soul Power was clearly far stronger than ordinary people, especially the two red‑scaled Red Demon Race, who probably each have more than one Soul Source.

Especially the two Red Demon Race with red scales, they probably each have more than one Soul Source.

When Ye Liuyun's Golden Pupil swept over them, although it was a quick glance, the four Demon Race immediately became alert. They all jumped off their Flying Boats, scattering into the Demon Race combat teams. Only one Red Demon kept staring at Ye Liuyun.

"You're fine together, but once scattered, you're no longer frightening!"

Ye Liuyun curled his lip and first launched a Spiritual Soul Attack on the watching Red Demon, releasing three Soul Sources with a single strike.

The other three Martial Cultivators, who had not released Divine Sense, suddenly each emitted a Soul Source rushing toward Ye Liuyun's Sea of Consciousness, while another Soul Source rushed toward the Red Demon that Ye Liuyun was attacking.

"Huh? What's happening?"

Ye Liuyun was also puzzled; the other three Demon Race clearly did not dare to release Divine Sense to scout, so they should not have reacted.

He immediately realized he had been tricked.

Yet he did not panic. His own Soul Sources were released first, and they were far stronger than those Demon Race's Divine Souls, enough to eliminate that Red Demon and then deal with the other three Soul Sources.

So his Soul Sources surged into that Red Demon's Sea of Consciousness, attacking with full force—one transformed into a Soul Blade, another into a Giant Fist, striking the Red Demon's two Soul Sources.

Those two Red Demon Soul Sources were weak and had even cultivated a third Divine Soul, but that Divine Soul was now too weak for Ye Liuyun, not reaching Soul Source level, and was shattered by his Soul Source with a Heaven and Earth Power punch.

Dealing with the other two Soul Sources cost him some effort; after the Soul Blade cleaved one Soul Source, it released lightning and Fire Flame Power, preventing that Soul Source from healing, while the other, using Heaven and Earth Power, blasted the Red Demon's Soul Source apart, igniting Nether Ghost Fire on its body, though not instantly fatal.

Then the Soul Blade and Giant Fist switched opponents, attacking again, and with the aid of his other Soul Source, finally destroyed the Red Demon's two Soul Sources. The Giant Fist then transformed into a Heaven‑Swallow Beast, swallowing the Red Demon's Divine Soul completely.

At this moment, the three Divine Souls that came to support that Red Demon arrived, and the three Soul Sources that rushed into Ye Liuyun's Sea of Consciousness were immediately covered by Ten Thousand Gods Command's Golden Light and ultimately devoured by the Ten Thousand Gods Command.

Ye Liuyun's remaining Soul Sources launched a Soul Search on the three Demon Race, discovering that the four Demon Race had signed an equal contract. When that Red Demon saw Ye Liuyun launch a Spiritual Soul Attack, it alerted the other three.

They intended to trap Ye Liuyun with this method. Unexpectedly, Ye Liuyun managed to release three Soul Sources at once, and his Sea of Consciousness still had protection.

"We really can't underestimate these Demon Race; if I didn't have the Ten Thousand Gods Command, they would have schemed us!"

Ye Liuyun also reminded himself to stay extra cautious.

Battles of Divine Souls are actually far more perilous; once you're outmatched, it's almost certain death. Fortunately, those four Demon Race tried to assault Ye Liuyun's Sea of Consciousness, dispersing the targets of the Soul Source attacks. Please download the AiYue app for the latest content

Otherwise, if they poured all their Soul Sources into that Red Demon's Sea of Consciousness, the outcome would be truly uncertain.

At this time, within the Red Demon's Sea of Consciousness, Ye Liuyun's three Soul Sources clashed three‑to‑three, each fully dominating.

Just the fire, lightning and toxicity carried by his Soul Sources made it hard for the three Demon Race to withstand. Adding his Soul Blade and Heaven and Earth Power attacks, two of the three Soul Sources were eliminated on the spot, and one fled wounded.

Ye Liuyun left a Soul Source transformed into a Heaven‑Swallow Beast, which swallowed the remaining two Demon Race Soul Sources, while the two Soul Sources pursued into that Demon Race's Sea of Consciousness and completely erased it.

Then he entered the other two Demon Race's Sea of Consciousness, exterminated the weaker Divine Souls left there, wiping out all four Demon Race with none remaining, after which his Soul Sources all returned to his own Sea of Consciousness.

However, how to deal with these Soul Sources is a headache.

If he tossed all eight Soul Sources into the Soul Refining Cauldron at once, the refined Soul Sources would be too powerful to temper. Handling them one by one would require temporarily storing them all in the Sea of Consciousness.

Not refining them but directly absorbing, he still felt these Demon Race Soul Sources were not condensed enough.

In the end, he threw the mass of two Soul Sources into the Soul Refining Cauldron for consolidation, while keeping the others temporarily in the Sea of Consciousness. The four Divine Souls thus refined, he would slowly refine two himself, and each of his two clones would refine one.

Finally he threw the amounts of the two soul sources together into the Soul Refining Cauldron to condense them, while the rest were temporarily stored in the Sea of Consciousness. Thus the four Souls produced this way, he himself slowly refined two, and the two avatars each refined one.
