She worried that Ye Liuyun had sent Chen Yueying to speak, so she asked that question; otherwise she would have acted herself instead of intercepting her. x.

During combat, no one may approach the Grand Leader of the army. Even reporting military intelligence follows strict protocol, to prevent one's own from being controlled by the enemy and assassinating the Leader in battle.

"Such slaughter is meaningless, far too cruel!" Chen Yueying explained.

"During battle, anyone who disobeys orders shall be beheaded!" Yueying warned again, raising the warblade in her hand; if Chen Yueying dared step forward another step, she would indeed strike, refusing to let her near Ye Tiandao.

At that moment, Ye Liuyun's Soul Source surged into Chen Yueying's Sea of Consciousness to check whether she was being controlled by someone else.

"Step back! You have no right to speak here! Do you treat marching and fighting as a child's game?" After confirming everything was fine, Ye Liuyun immediately warned Chen Yueying.

"Why are you following me?" Chen Yueying, choking with frustration, fired at the three of them.

"We are the princess's guards!" Liao Yaotian replied helplessly.

"What guard dares to breach my Sea of Consciousness and shout at me… does he think I'm a princess?" Chen Yueying complained about Ye Liuyun as she walked.

"Princess, the army's regulations require a set procedure when reporting to the Grand Leader in battle, to prevent someone's Soul from being controlled and used to assassinate the Leader. I guess the boss is confirming for that reason!"

Liao Yaotian could only explain on their behalf.

"What? There's such a rule in the army? Then how can we approach him? Isn't he the Grand Leader of this battle?" Chen Yueying immediately asked Liao Yaotian, referring to Ye Liuyun.
