Chapter 3561: Shooting the Demon Leader

The Giant Spirit Demon, relying on its realm and strength, would find eliminating Ye Liuyun definitely very easy.

Ye Liuyun is now pondering a countermeasure. His remaining Divine Core is only half left; in the upcoming fight he cannot use Divine Core, and must rely on the Demon Slaying Sword for close‑range Yi Dao, or use Spiritual Soul Attack to win cleverly.

As the remaining Demon Race and Demon Beast closed in on the final layer of the Formation, that Formation finally could not hold and collapsed completely.

At this moment Ye Liuyun's three Guardian God Seals also could not hold and were withdrawn back into his body.

He also reclaimed the Thunder Spirit and two Demon Swords, and used the Thunder Spirit and Demon Swords himself in battle, with greater power.

"Kill!"

He shouted, charging proactively at a Demon Race. At that moment, his sorcery finally ceased.

But the Giant Spirit Demon was no longer a match for that monk; even without Ye Liuyun's sorcery attack, it was already powerless to turn the tide.

Ye Liuyun only shouted loudly, his momentum strong, but when he rushed to the Demon Race's vicinity, he first launched a Spiritual Soul Attack, releasing two Soul Sources to extinguish the Demon Race's Soul, then Yi Dao to slay it, otherwise he would not be a match for that Demon Race.

The War God Armor on his body also manifested, blocking a nearby Demon Beast's attack, and the Soul Source, not withdrawn, surged straight into that Demon Beast's Sea of Consciousness.

The Demon Beast lunged at that moment. Ye Liuyun, still leveraging the advantage of faster time in the Soul world, first extinguished its Soul, then sidestepped and Yi Dao, cleaving the Demon Beast in two.

However, this clever tactic could not escape the eyes of the Ninth Realm Demon Race; soon a Demon Race with a Defense Artifact in its Sea of Consciousness charged at him.

When Ye Liuyun saw it rush forward, he knew his ambush was hopeless, and immediately used his Purple Pupil, shattering its Soul and annihilating it.

With that, the remaining Demon Race and Demon Beasts realized his strength, dared not approach lightly, and first killed other Mercenaries, buying Ye Liuyun time.

He fully exerted Blade Intent, Yi Dao at a Demon Race, and after that Yi Dao, two sharpened blades flew out. He also unleashed Thunder and Lightning Power, coordinating his Yi Dao to attack the Demon Race, drawing its attention.

The Demon Race blocked the first Yi Dao; the Buddha Light Power it contained made it somewhat startled, then it fully countered the Thunder and Lightning Power, and after coping, two Demon Swords followed in succession.

Startled, it erupted fully, Demon Qi shielding its body, barely blocking the two Demon Swords but getting scratched. It immediately realized the danger, for Ye Liuyun had already surged forward with Spatial Power and Yi Dao horizontally slashed down.

It had just fully unleashed its internal Demon Qi, hadn't time to mobilize Demon Qi to counter, and was instantly cut at the waist by Ye Liuyun's Yi Dao.

Yet before dying it clawed at Ye Liuyun; fortunately the War God Armor blocked it, preventing injury. At this moment the Metal Puppet, having just Yi Dao a Demon Beast, also clashed with the ambushing Demon Race, both suffering mutual wounds.

The Demon Race punched the Metal Puppet away, and the Heaven Bite Slash in the Metal Puppet's hand was flung toward the Demon Race. The Demon Race tried to grasp the Heaven Bite Slash.

But the Heaven Bite Slash contained Ye Liuyun's Soul. It suddenly accelerated, causing the Demon Race to miss in mid‑air, then pierced through its neck, catching the Demon Race off guard and killing it with a weapon.

The Heaven Bite Slash then Yi Dao at a Demon Beast that was tearing at a Mercenary; by the time the Demon Beast reacted it was too late, split in two by the Heaven Bite Slash. The Heaven Bite Slash's force was excessive, even

The Heaven Bite Slash immediately returned to the Metal Puppet, circled, saw its energy transmission had been cut off, and flew back to Ye Liuyun.

"Fine then!"

Ye Liuyun instantly reclaimed the Heaven Bite Slash, holding the Demon Slaying Sword in one hand and the Heaven Bite Slash in the other, with two Demon Swords circling him, and went to slay a Demon Beast.

Xu Rong, leveraging his weapon's advantage, blocked a Demon Race, never giving it a chance to strike others.

However, the other Mercenaries had all been cleanly slain by Demon Beasts, which all charged at Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun dealt with Demon Beasts using Red Pupil Illusion Technique combined with sorcery, then defended with Demon Swords, and Yi Daoed with the Demon Slaying Sword and Heaven Bite Slash. He was several times knocked airborne by Demon Beasts, but the War God Armor blocked the attack power each time.

So each time he suddenly leapt up to fight again, seizing the chance to Yi Dao a Demon Beast. The number of Demon Beasts pursuing him dwindled.

At this moment, the Giant Spirit Demon could no longer hold on. Its whole scale armor was about to be melted away by Buddha Light. The Sealing Demon Tablet was about to press

It would not devise a plan; if Ye Liuyun eliminated all Demon Beasts before turning to it, it would be completely defeated here.

But now, if it dispersed its power even slightly, the monk and the Sealing Demon Tablet would gain the advantage, so it could only launch a Spiritual Soul Attack at Ye Liuyun.

The Giant Spirit Demon earned that name because its Divine Soul Power is exceptionally strong. It directly released its strongest Soul Source, charging toward Ye Liuyun's Sea of Consciousness.

At the same time, it threatened the monk to stand down, otherwise it would kill Ye Liuyun outright.

This single Soul Source equals two of Ye Liuyun's, and the Soul Source also bore dense Demon Qi, clearly the result of great effort cultivating Divine Soul Power.

The monk, hearing this, indeed weakened his attack, looking anxiously at Ye Liuyun. His Divine Soul Power was insufficient, only defensive. If he sent out his own Soul Source to help, he might be intercepted and slain by the Giant Spirit Demon midway.

Moreover, Ye Liuyun had previously said he had a way, so the monk hesitated, unsure whether to act.

At that moment, the Giant Spirit Demon seized his distraction, again mobilized all its internal Demon Qi, broke through Buddha Light's seal, blasted the Sealing Demon Tablet, surged out from a hollow in the stone wall, and rushed straight at Ye Liuyun.

"Ah!"

The monk let out a startled cry, regretting his distraction at such a time, and immediately pursued. The Sealing Demon Tablet, after adjusting its direction in the air, again chased the Demon Head.

Ye Liuyun, meanwhile, was fighting desperately with Demon Beasts, when suddenly he was hit by the Demon Head's Spiritual Soul Attack, though he was not originally worried.

The Ten Thousand Gods Command's Golden Light enveloped the Demon Head's Soul Source, and its two Souls instantly transformed into Soul Blades, slicing the Demon Head's Soul Source into several pieces, then throwing them straight into the Soul Refining Cauldron.

But now he suddenly felt the Demon Head's oppressive pressure, finding it hard to endure. Even the Ten Thousand Gods Command struggled against such strong pressure.

In desperation, the two Demon Beasts beside him lunged; he infused the Demon Slaying Sword and Heaven Bite Slash with Buddha Light, hurled them at a Demon Beast, then drew the Godslaying Bow, swung it, and flung another Demon Beast away.

Then he immediately infused Divine Core, nocked an arrow, and shot a single arrow at the Giant Spirit Demon. The recent encoding issues gave us more motivation, faster updates; please click to exit reading mode. Thank you.
