Tang Xinyao's praise, however, made Li Qianjiao feel very gratified inside.

She, although not as familiar as Tang Xinyao and felt a bit awkward being pulled by her, still said, "My name is Li Qianjiao; you can just call me Qianjiao!"

Li Qianjiao now also confirmed that the person she had seen before was the Mercenary‑dressed Chen Yueying. She pretended not to know, since Chen Yueying never clarified her identity.

She suddenly recalled that Ye Liuyun calling her Miss Li seemed too formal, making conversation inconvenient. She wanted Ye Liuyun to call her Qianjiao but felt embarrassed to say it, so she let Ye Liuyun think for herself.

"You should just give me a different name to call me. Always calling me Miss Li feels too awkward!"

Ye Liuyun thought for a moment; calling her by full name seemed too stiff, calling her Qianjiao was still not familiar enough, and not calling her Miss Li left him at a loss, not knowing what to call her.

"Then just call her Qianjiao!" Tang Xinyao said experimentally, but her eyes fixed on Li Qianjiao.

Ye Liuyun knew Tang Xinyao was deliberately teasing him and found himself unable to speak, so he looked to Xu Rong for help.

"Don't cause me trouble. Focus on your own tasks, and stop overthinking!"

Ye Liuyun had no choice with Tang Xinyao. Since Tang Xinyao confessed to him last time, he had internally accepted her and no longer regarded her as an outsider. At least in his mind, his relation with Tang Xinyao was far closer than with Chen Yueying.

She then lectured Li Qianjiao, speaking also to Chen Yueying: "He's like a block of wood; he's busy with other matters and never thinks about romantic affairs.

If you like him, tell him proactively; otherwise he won't notice, and hints won't work on him. He has plenty of women anyway, and doesn't need another one like you!"

Actually, that was her own realization. She felt that since she clarified things with Ye Liuyun, his attitude toward her had changed greatly, no longer treating her as an outsider as before.

She had previously thought her behavior was obvious enough, that Lei Ming and the others said they liked him and told him directly, but she still didn't quite understand. Until she voiced it herself, she realized it was truly different.

Thus she understood better why Lei Ming and the others called Ye Liuyun a block of wood.

She also knew that Ye Liuyun was exceedingly outstanding; any woman who approached him would be attracted to him, and this was unavoidable.

So it all depends on whether a woman's feelings for Ye Liuyun are sincere. If she approaches him with ulterior motives, he will indeed filter her out. After all, staying with someone for a long time without expecting anything in return is something schemers generally can't afford.

"He won't let me say, but it's a huge number! Chen Yueying and I don't even count yet!" Tang Xinyao replied with a playful grin, not giving a specific count.

"What does that have to do with me? I never said I wanted to be his woman!" Chen Yueying interjected upon hearing that.

She also knew Ye Liuyun could probably hear, so she instinctively explained to avoid being looked down upon.

"You still haven't grasped what Lei Ming told you!" Tang Xinyao shook her head helplessly. Lei Ming had already told Chen Yueying to confess directly to Ye Liuyun, but she remained embarrassed.

Li Qianjiao felt considerably relieved, thinking she now had two fewer rivals, and her hostility toward Tang Xinyao and Chen Yueying instantly lessened: "Who is Lei Ming? Aren't you two his women?"

"Lei Ming is his woman. We're not yet!" Tang Xinyao stuck out her tongue mischievously.

Ye Liuyun could no longer listen; after leaving the city, he immediately launched a Flying Boat, letting Xu Rong and Cheng Huofeng pilot it, while he retreated to the Space World to cultivate.

Tang Xinyao and Chen Yueying stayed outside, continuing to chat with Li Qianjiao.

"You, a rich family's young lady, how could you have taken a liking to him? Have you met before?" Tang Xinyao began probing Li Qianjiao again.

"Don't spout nonsense; I never liked him. I'm just here to train, and he happens to be our client, so I took the chance to follow you for some honing. This is only my second time meeting him," Li Qianjiao still refused to admit.
