Mo Ya found Ye Liuyun, came up without any preamble and said, "Lin Feier is in trouble!"

Ye Liuyun heard it, his brows furrowed. "Wasn't Lin Feier going with you on the trial? What happened?"

"We were chased by people from the Heaven Severing Pavilion, who claimed she was practicing demonic cultivation," Mo Ya said anxiously. "It's more than that. My guess is they let me return only to set a trap for you, to lure you into rescuing Lin Feier."

"What's going on? Explain clearly!" Ye Liuyun steadied his mind, seeking the full account.

Mo Ya and Lin Feier went to the Central Region to hunt Corpse Demons for training, and everything was going smoothly.

Not long ago, a Martial Cultivator came to provoke them, and the two sides fought. After the opponent was defeated and fled, they spread a rumor that Lin Feier was practicing demonic cultivation. Then members of the Alliance's Heaven Severing Pavilion came to besiege the pair, claiming to purge the scum for the Alliance. They first scattered the two, then all went after Lin Feier.

Mo Ya had no choice but to return to Ye Liuyun for help. He sensed a conspiracy; otherwise, with the Heaven Severing Pavilion's power, why would they let him go back?

"It's definitely a deliberate excuse to strike. The goal is to lure me into rescuing her!" Ye Liuyun said confidently.

"Luring you is true, but the technique Lin Feier practices is indeed demonic cultivation!" Mo Ya affirmed. "I fought alongside her many times; I wouldn't be mistaken."

"Huh? I only gave it to her as a resource exchange; I never said she could train with it!" Ye Liuyun realized his regret was too late.

He then asked, "Whatever the technique, it must not let the Heaven Severing Pavilion succeed. The Alliance doesn't restrict what can be cultivated, so on what authority do they meddle? Where is she now?"

"I have coordinates; I can teleport to the place where she and I were separated." Mo Ya continued, "But you'd go alone? They may have stationed many experts there."

Ye Liuyun took the coordinates, didn't have time to explain, told Mo Ya not to follow, to return and train, and rushed toward the Teleport Hall.

On the way, he briefly told Qiong Qi to help with a task before leaving, then teleported straight to the spot where Mo Ya and Lin Feier were separated.

Immediately, Ye Liuyun donned the Invisibility Cloak, followed the battle traces, and pursued.

"No need to rush! Since they want to bait you, if you don't take the hook, Lin Feier won't die!" Qiong Qi comforted him.
