But he did not leave. Those few traitors had to be eliminated. Now it was no longer just his own problem; if those people were released, they could damage the Alliance's defenses.

Ye Liuyun kept watch for a full day and night before his Divine Sense picked up the trail of a few people again, but only three remained; he did not know what happened to the others.

He waited until they were some distance away from the Corpse Demon stronghold, then acted, directly using the Space‑Crossing Golden Pupil to unleash a Thunder Fire Domain, pulling the souls of the few into it.

"We heard you obtained Primordial Power inside the Alliance's Secret Realm. We won't harm you; we just want to borrow it to train and improve. What do you say?" the two strongmen grinned wickedly at Ye Liuyun.

Ye Liuyun was momentarily stunned, then quickly realized it must have been Qu Chen Feng who leaked the news.

"Qu Chen Feng, you despicable, shameless scoundrel!"

Ye Liuyun cursed inwardly, but could not find him; anger was useless. Moreover, two Heavenly Gang First Tier strongmen stood before him.

"What if I refuse?" Ye Liuyun asked coldly.

"Then we'll take it ourselves! Don't turn down a toast only to be forced to drink a penalty!" one strongman threatened.

Before Ye Liuyun could reach the teleport point, over a dozen Heavenly Gang strongmen blocked his path, startling him.

Seeing the situation was wrong, Ye Liuyun turned and fled. Eight Heavenly Gang Realm Martial Cultivators pursued him relentlessly.

The pursuers followed directly, and more kept flying out from the city toward him.

Ye Liuyun also encountered several Alliance Elders who had followed. After his Soul domain enveloped them, the Elders finally realized his power.

Some of them immediately changed tone: "Ye Liuyun, we only came to see what happened; we're not targeting you! In this great war, your wanton slaughter of Alliance members is an act of aiding tyranny…"

"Indeed! You must consider the consequences of your actions. Otherwise, we'll report you to the Alliance and revoke your membership."

These people tried to morally blackmail Ye Liuyun, but he merely smiled it off.

No matter what they said, anyone who pursued him, regardless of sect affiliation, he killed without exception.
