Chapter 706: Transmitting the Technique

This old guy, shameless! He's stealing someone else's disciple! When I get a chance, I'll definitely give him a beating!

Elder Song Yan was still complaining to Ye Liuyun on the way.

He also instructed Ye Liuyun: 'Just learn the technique he taught you by watching. Put your main effort into what I teach you!'

Yes, Master! Ye Liuyun could only reply helplessly.

Elder Song Yan then slightly calmed his anger.

After their commotion, the news has spread throughout the sect.

Ye Liuyun's name instantly spread throughout the Lingxiao Sect. Many people wanted to see what this disciple, who caused two elders to fight over him, actually looked like.

But after Ye Liuyun completed registration at the office, received his token and clothing, he never appeared again.

It wasn't that he didn't want to go out; both elders were watching him closely, leaving him no chance to leave.

As soon as they finished registration and returned, Elder Qian Feng followed them.

They first had Ye Liuyun demonstrate his strength.

Although Tuoba Qi had given a detailed introduction, he still needed to understand it clearly, and Qian Feng also needed to know.

Ye Liuyun held nothing back, showing everything one by one.

While watching, Elder Song Yan sighed: 'Such a fine disciple, and you old thing are taking a huge advantage!'

That's right, my vision couldn't be wrong!' Qian Feng, also watching intently, blurted out the truth without realizing. But Song Yan didn't notice.

Ye Liuyun's displayed strength was far greater than what Tuoba Qi had described, much stronger.

Especially his bloodline power. When Ye Liuyun fully unleashed it, even their bloodlines throbbed in response, giving them a feeling of being suppressed.

You should know, Ye Liuyun's cultivation is a major realm lower than theirs, plus a bit.

Moreover, it wasn't over. When Ye Liuyun used the bloodline internal circulation method, his power increased greatly, truly able to shock their bloodline strength—that's what surprised them most.

I've picked up a treasure!' Qian Feng exclaimed.

Mm!' Song Yan nodded repeatedly.

After Ye Liuyun finished demonstrating, he stopped and waited for their feedback.

Your fist techniques are too simple and crude; in this regard I can recommend several techniques for you to study and improve your execution.' Song Yan said to Ye Liuyun.

Your spatial power also needs improvement! You haven't even unleashed your full strength!' Qian Feng added.

Blood Thunder, Golden Crow Holy Fire, and Nether Ghost Fire still need further compression; the more refined, the better...

To improve your sword intent, I can recommend you enter the Secret Realm...

These two mighty experts not only pointed out a cultivation path for Ye Liuyun, but also provided ways to obtain resources.

Finally, each person gave Ye Liuyun some energy to boost his True Essence, so he could quickly raise his realm.

In just a short day, Ye Liuyun benefited greatly. Many techniques now have new cultivation directions.

These two elders also gave Ye Liuyun a list, allowing him to go directly to the Library to borrow the books.

Logically, as a newcomer with no contributions, he shouldn't be able to borrow many books at once.

It's fine, just say you're our disciple! If they dare to stop you, come tell me—I'll deal with them!

Good, report our names and no one will dare to stop you!

Both masters said the same thing.

It seems my two masters are also tough guys—no wonder they're always ready to fight! Ye Liuyun secretly thought, also realizing that in the sect, no one dares to provoke these two masters lightly.

All right, you can go now! I'm about to teach my disciple his technique! Do you still want to linger here and steal learning?

After finishing with Ye Liuyun's affairs, Elder Song Yan suddenly started to drive Qian Feng away.

Tch, you think I'd value your broken technique?

Qian Feng didn't linger either, merely telling Ye Liuyun: 'Disciple, after you deal with that old guy, come find me—I also have a secret technique to pass on!'

Yes!' Ye Liuyun replied respectfully, first seeing Qian Feng off, then returning to study with Song Yan.

My own technique isn't really suited for you. But I have a set of palm techniques here! I see your Buddha Demon Power is special; you should be able to cultivate it!

Saying that, he took out a technique manual and handed it to Ye Liuyun.

Qiankun Palm?' Ye Liuyun read the title of the technique aloud.

Good! This Qiankun Palm actually requires internal possession of two forces that can both generate and restrain each other. Your Buddha Demon Power can mutually transform and restrain, so I think practicing this suits you well! Or you could cultivate using the power of yin and yang two kinds of flames; I think that would work too.

Or, you can cultivate using the power of yin and yang flames; I think that works too.

Elder Song Yan paused, then continued: 'This palm technique is said to be a divine-level skill. It was the famed signature move of the Qiankun Venerable. I once had the fortune to witness its power. I found this manual by chance in a Secret Realm.'

A divine-level technique?' Upon hearing this, Ye Liuyun's heart surged with excitement.

However...

Elder Song Yan paused.

This volume is only the upper half. You need to enter the Secret Realm yourself to find the lower half! I once had the chance to enter a Secret Realm and obtain the upper half, but after that I never got another chance to go in.

Saying that, he also transmitted a Secret Realm map to Ye Liuyun, marking the location where he had found this upper-half manual.

Master, where is this Secret Realm?' Ye Liuyun asked.

Elder Song Yan also laughed: 'You kid, your luck is good; your timing is perfect! Next month the Secret Realm will open. In a few days there will be a competition to seize the quotas. If you perform normally, you'll definitely get a spot!'

All right, once I enter the Secret Realm I will definitely go find the lower half of this book!' Ye Liuyun promised.

If you can't find it, don't force it. There are still plenty of opportunities in that Secret Realm! Don't waste your own chance just looking for the book. In my view, just this half of the technique is enough for you to cultivate to the level of a venerable expert.

Elder Song Yan again advised him, telling him not to be too nitpicky.

He then added: 'The map I gave you is from when I entered decades ago; it's bound to have changed. Just use it as a reference!'

Yes!' Ye Liuyun replied.

All right, first go to the Library, collect the techniques, perfect what you currently have, then practicing this later won't be too late.

Elder Song Yan also didn't let him rush into cultivation, but had him first improve his existing techniques.

Ye Liuyun also immediately rushed to the Lingxiao Sect's Library to fetch books.
