Chapter 162: Trajectory

~7 min read 1,286 words

Inside the Bone Cathedral, the mighty blood-colored Storm had ceased; Medici and Ouroboros were flanking Adam on the left and right.

After a fierce battle, the three Kings of Angels were not in very good condition.

The divine robe on Adam's body was riddled with damage, and the broken dragon scales on the surface of his body could be seen.

Facing these two opponents, Adam could no longer remain detached.

"You won't be taking my Characteristic today!" The Banner Mark at the center of Medici's brow grew increasingly blood-red, feeling as though it were becoming tangible.

His state was not very good either; the Corruption on his body was attempting to erode his spirit.

Adam seemed not to hear, looking at Medici as he gently raised the silver crucifix in his hand and lightly touched his brow.

Ouroboros and Medici were both vigilant, guarding against Adam suddenly making a move.

"Not necessarily." A voice suddenly came from behind Medici.

The air inside the Bone Cathedral suddenly solidified; Ouroboros's pupils constricted, his body stiff as he looked across.

Ssh!

A slight sound broke the silence of the Bone Cathedral; a dark red longsword stabbed from behind, piercing Medici's heart.

"You won't die anyway, so you might as well donate your Characteristic to a god in need." "Sauron" spoke in a flippant tone, and a Monocle appeared over his right eye.

"Amon!?" Medici let out a furious cry.

"Tsk, I guessed long ago that you would make a move on Einhorn, so I stole Sauron's Fate and had Adam hypnotize me, all for this moment."

Amon was very pleased to hear Medici's scream and could not help but say a few more words.

Amon, having stolen Sauron's Fate, was still Amon; only through Adam's hypnosis could Amon become "Sauron" and deceive all the angels and gods.

As for the previous "Fallen," it was not used by the "True Creator" personally, so the impact on Amon was truly limited.

"Tsk! What a good brother." Medici glanced at Amon and Adam and gave a soft snort; he no longer had the ability to resist.

Hum!

It was likely at this moment that the war in the outside world reached its conclusion, and the Characteristics on the bodies of Medici, Einhorn, and Sauron produced an incomparable force of convergence!

Medici frowned, struggling to control his body to complete a self-detonation.

"I will remember this time." Medici's voice came from outside the Bone Cathedral.

Ouroboros took a deep look at Adam and Amon, spread his Angel wings, and turned into a stream of light, moving far away from this cathedral.

"Only helping this once." Amon looked at Adam and said, "Next time, you'll have to trade Pallez for it."

Afterward, the Fates of Amon and Sauron separated, and he tossed out a blood-colored crown covered in rust.

After Medici's body exploded, the blood-colored specks gradually gathered to become the "Conqueror" Characteristic and the "Red Priest" Unique.

This body only contained these two items; the others had been separated out.

"How did you persuade Dream?" Amon asked suddenly.

He had sensed a familiar power on Medici, but very strangely, that power was still in a dormant state even now.

"I didn't persuade him, I just defeated Medici."

Chumen had long since warned that if Medici had hidden in the "True Divine Kingdom" or even returned to the "Creator Kingdom" at this time, even if the "Red Priest" ritual were completed, he would not have suffered any harm.

Alistair Tudor's attempt to advance to "Red Priest" would also have failed completely.

But Medici chose to accept Adam's "challenge," and in the end, he lost; the Unique and the "Conqueror" Characteristic were the price he had to pay.

Adam took the three portions of the Characteristic and the Unique into his hands.

"Ssh!" Amon sneered and left the Bone Cathedral; he was very curious about the answer, but it was clearly something he could not get from Adam.

Adam held the "Red Priest" Unique in his hand, glanced at the blood-colored Banner Mark, and asked softly.

"Are you trying to wash away this mark?"

"Not entirely."

Hum!

Beside that blood-colored banner, a Dream Mark suddenly condensed.

Chumen's voice came from within it.

"I also want to see what the fourth 'Pillar' is."

The most special beings in the entire universe must be those four Pillars, but let alone the awakened "God" and "Lord of the Mysteries," even with the "Fallen Mother Goddess" lying on the moon as nothing but a Symbol, who would dare to go up there?

Yet, there happened to be one Pillar that could not appear until the end of the universe.

Chumen also had a fairly intense curiosity about this fourth Pillar.

"..." The movement of Adam's hand froze for an instant, then he nodded gently, "You really do know."

"Not only do I know, I can also give you a hand."

Chumen's voice ceased, but the Dream Symbol did not disappear from that "Red Priest" Unique.

Adam was silent for a few breaths, ignored the symbol, and followed a certain force of convergence to combine the three "Conqueror" Characteristics and the Unique into the "Red Priest" Potion.

This was a mass of blood-red liquid covered in rust; the liquid stretched, eventually becoming a blood-red divine robe, and pulled by a certain power, it headed directly toward Alistair Tudor.

Adam watched as the "Red Priest" Potion seeped into Alistair's body, then slowly turned and looked in another direction.

Boom!

The entire world shook violently; countless people looked up and saw a second "Sun" in the sky.

The God War that had been brewing all along broke out in the Astral World; the "Sun" and the Dream Sea both appeared in that strange dimension filled with abstract Authority.

Chumen's true body and the "Sun" made a move against the four True Gods who had been eyeing him.

That was not easy to deal with; without the Dream Book in hand, being able to hold them off was already the limit.

"Dream!" Cheek suddenly looked up at the Astral World, about to leap up, but at this moment, a Shadow crucifix became infinitely huge, standing between heaven and earth.

Sasriel stood upon it, overlooking the world, "You cannot go up."

He reached out and pulled, and the shadows of the entire world seemed to be tugged by him, forming a completely enclosed world that shrouded Cheek within it.

"Get lost!" Cheek shrieked sharply, countless pitch-black, viscous tentacles turning into frost and black flames, frantically lashing out at the Shadow world.

Sasriel's expression was also grave; he intuitively felt that something bad would happen if Chumen faced this Witch, so he blocked him here.

"Good brother!" The Sage of Hide took everything in from high above, inwardly sighing that Sasriel was indeed reliable.

At a time like this, it was best not to come face-to-face with Cheek to avoid any accidents.

"Alistair Tudor..." Chumen looked at the "meatball" whose body was already nearing collapse.

The current Alistair Tudor was on the verge of madness and loss of control, having transformed into a meatball filled with Corruption.

Yet, strangely, this meatball had not truly lost control, but was gradually ascending to the divine throne, becoming a mad existence akin to an Ancient God.

The trajectories of Fate overlapped eerily; the Blood Emperor appeared in this world.

"But... I am the big picture!"

In the Fourth Epoch, which was the present for him, he no longer needed to deliberately scheme.

He only needed to go with the flow; his will was the tide of history.

Chumen snapped his fingers lightly, and a torrent of information, like a galaxy descending from the sky, illuminated the entire world.
