Chapter 401: Situation
The skeleton that walked out from the darkness had a silver skull, somewhat shiny, and appeared a bit timid when facing Klein.
Klein was already a Demigod, already a true big shot.
"For you." Klein politely handed over the letter.
The skeleton's head opened its mouth, bit down on the letter, and returned into the darkness.
Klein sat at the table, organizing the information he had obtained, patiently waiting for a reply.
And in less than a quarter of an hour, Klein had already reached out and pulled a letter from the Spirit World.
"First, thank you for the help, Mr. 'Detective'. I wonder if you have time to come to the Research Association for a chat?"
It was only one sentence, but Klein had already obtained the information he needed; more importantly, he and this Ms. Hela had already established sufficient Causality.
Klein closed his eyes directly, and the next instant, he had arrived at the Babel Tower in the Phantom Realm "Fairyland".
This was where the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society held their gatherings, but that was on the top floor. The Babel Tower was of unknown height, and besides the top floor, there were many other levels; these levels were applied for by some members of the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society for various "club activities".
"So we only need to deal with her alone?" Klein also let out a sigh of relief.
With the number of people increasing day by day, it was inevitable that small cliques would appear in the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society.
Ms. Hela did not use any extra disguise, simply wearing a unique black dress, possessing a strong sense of mystery.
"Mr. 'Detective'?" Ms. Hela's voice was no longer cold; it was completely devoid of any warmth.
The chill here was influenced by her Sequence, but her personality was likely just like this as well.
"Yes, Ms. Hela." Klein nodded slightly.
Her features were quite good, but what was conspicuous was her skin, which was a sickly white.
"It has the influence of Loen's style..." Klein nodded slightly; he was currently Sherlock Moriarty, the "Detective".
Ms. Hela looked Klein over a few times and invited him to sit down and talk.
On one of the floors, Klein had already met Ms. Hela by following the guidance of Causality.
"I didn't expect that someone had truly become a Demigod." Ms. Hela expressed her emotion in a very cold tone.
Klein nodded silently, waiting for the real news.
"Sequence 4 of the 'Diviner' Pathway, 'Bizarro Sorcerer'." Klein did not mind leaking a little information at this moment.
"It is the entire cult she belongs to." Hela's words made Klein's heart jump.
"After she returned from the Starry Sky, she joined a local astronomy group, secretly belonging to an evil organization that worships the Moon."
"The member sent to the Starry Sky has the codename 'Mad Woman'. As for those few people who sent her to the Starry Sky, we have already investigated them, and they are not currently Corrupted." Hela confirmed Klein's thoughts and truly revealed the core information.
And after hearing Klein's words, Ms. Hela's body relaxed a little.
"This mission is very dangerous; you should already be aware of this," Hela reminded him.
"The President should have already communicated with you, but I still need to confirm: what Sequence are you now?" This Ms. Hela spoke very directly.
"Astronomy, Moon..." Klein noticed these keywords. When he heard these keywords, his Spirituality gave a very dangerous warning.
"You cannot imagine a lunatic keeping secrets for us, so our best choice is to wipe out that entire cult." Hela said it very easily.
"..." As for Klein, he had no objections; the number of evil cultists who had died at his hands was already high.
"However, there is one very important problem." Hela looked at Klein and said, "'Mad Woman' is a Traveler. Can you stop her?"
Once a "Traveler" escaped, it would be a huge trouble. Klein had already seen this in Trissy, who possessed the "Traveler's Door".
"As long as I can see her, I can catch her." This was the confidence of a "Causality Attendant".
"Good, let's wait a moment." Hela's action almost made Klein throw his back out.
Klein blinked, did not ask, and just waited here with Hela, occasionally discussing certain mystical knowledge.
And about half an hour later, another person walked in here.
"Sleeve Sword?" Klein's eye twitched as he watched this fellow countryman, who was brave enough to try new things and held great enthusiasm for life, walk over.
When Klein first participated in the Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society, he saw a "brother", but now it had long since become a "young lady".
It was obvious that she was already a "Witch", and judging by the charm she exuded, she was likely already a "Pleasure".
It was just that for certain reasons, the two words "Witch" really clashed with Klein, making his expression slightly uncomfortable.
"Eh, 'Detective'? The person who provided help is you?" The young lady "Sleeve Sword" was still familiar with this fellow countryman who had helped her before.
"Yes." Klein nodded with restraint.
"Sleeve Sword" nodded lightly, took an envelope directly from her person, and slapped it on the table.
"Alright, I've brought the things you needed. I wish you a successful operation!"
"Sleeve Sword" seemed to have come specifically to deliver this envelope. Afterwards, she waved at the two of them and exited the Phantom Realm directly.
"She is someone I invited to investigate the members of that evil cult. The list of evil cultists is inside." Hela opened the envelope, browsed through it, and handed it to Klein.
"Cult leader, Dakesi..."
There were eighteen people in total, all of whom were the most important members of the evil cult, plus one "Mad Woman".
"You go handle the cult leader and the 'Mad Woman' mentioned earlier; leave the rest to me."
"They might have some kind of bizarre power, don't underestimate them."
Klein nodded silently.
The two agreed on a time and place to meet in the Real World and left the Babel Tower separately.
"Some kind of bizarre power..." Klein was very concerned about Ms. Hela's last sentence.
His Spirituality also gave a very strange warning; it wasn't danger, but it was very repulsive and rejecting.
"Hoo..." Klein recorded that list, read it once, and said, "It seems I missed quite a few things while I was busy with the war and the Demigod ritual."
The current Curly-Haired Baboons Research Society was also more complete; a group of transmigrators gathered together was still a very powerful force.
"Moon? I can consult Mr. 'Moon' about this aspect; his status in the Blood Clan seems to be quite high now."
Klein subconsciously began to prepare for the operation.
