Chapter 470: Digestion
Klein stayed in the City of Silver for only one day.
"The people here live completely without worry; sweet fruits grow in the soil, and outside the city, one can find divine springs bubbling with milk and honey..."
Klein was struck by everything he saw in this city, yet the City of Silver was merely on the outskirts of "Fantasy Land."
The true core of "Fantasy Land" was that land truly under the dominion of "Dream."
It was just that Klein had no intention of heading to the core area of "Fantasy Land" right now, because he already knew clearly through the permissions of "Fantasy Land" that not only was Amon there, but Mr. "Door" was as well!
Mr. "Door" sealed himself within "Fantasy Land," wanting to rely on himself to break the shackles of "Fantasy Land" and complete the ritual to become a god.
This was a person Klein did not want to face right now; what he actually needed to do most was to finish digesting the last portion of his "Ancient Scholar" Potion and hold the ritual for "Miracle Invoker."
In fact, the digestion of the "Ancient Scholar" Potion was not a problem; after all, this was the Forsaken Land of the Gods, and he only needed to go to certain highly renowned places to do some "archaeology," and he would be able to finish digesting it very soon.
"Where should I go?" Klein had already tentatively planned a few targets: "Creator Kingdom, Giant King's Court, and the Elf Ruins!"
The Creator Kingdom went without saying; this was information he had obtained from the City of Silver, the God's Kingdom left behind by that Creator of the Third Epoch, an existence just like "Fantasy Land."
And the Giant King's Court was the place Adam had guided him to.
The final Elf Ruins was a location Klein had found based on the "Book of Calamity," the site of the Elf race's God's Kingdom in the Second Epoch, only the Elf King had died, the Queen of Calamity had been buried with him, and the God's Kingdom had also collapsed.
"The safest place here is actually the Elf Ruins..." Klein still had some psychological reservations about the first two and dared not get too close before becoming a "Miracle Invoker."
"Then let's go!" Klein was just about to set off, but at this moment, he suddenly sensed something and looked behind him.
Sure enough, as Klein stared fixedly there, Amon walked out from the air.
"Ah, what a pity..." Amon wore a look of regret, having missed an opportunity.
"You still have an avatar in the Forsaken Land of the Gods?" Klein had already guessed this point; if this were the case, Amon might be waiting outside...
"However, this problem can no longer stump the 'Child of Fantasy' that I am." Klein looked at Amon, his thoughts stirred, and a "Klein" walked out from that world belonging solely to him.
This was not a Historical Projection, and it could not even be called an avatar, because under the ability of "Fantasy," he was Klein.
Of course, also because of "Fantasy," perhaps in the next instant, he would not be Klein again.
"Mr. Amon, do you have any recommended tourist attractions?" Klein sat down calmly, then invited Amon to take a seat.
And the other Klein had already stepped out of the range of "Fantasy Land" and saw the Amon outside.
"Interesting!" Both Amons gently pushed up their Monocle; the Amon in "Fantasy Land" also generously sat down in front of Klein.
That two people who should have been at each other's throats upon meeting could actually sit down and have a conversation was already an unimaginable scene.
"I personally recommend the Creator Kingdom most; that is my father's God's Kingdom, even more ancient and magical than 'Fantasy Land'." Amon had actually started to actively recommend tourist attractions.
"And there, you can obtain complete historical records from the beginning of the Second Epoch to the end of the Third Epoch." Amon clearly knew Klein's purpose.
"That won't be necessary; I only have about one-fifth of the Potion left to digest, so I don't need to go to the Creator Kingdom." Klein was cowardly as a matter of course.
That was Amon's lair; going there certainly wouldn't end well. "What a pity." Amon felt some regret, "Then I have another recommendation; I estimate that you 'Transmigrators' would all like this place!"
"What?" Klein's spirit split in two, the other half already on its way to the Elf Ruins for archaeology.
"Chernobyl." Amon suddenly said this place name, "That is the sacred land where my father awoke, burying history that even I cannot probe."
"My father once told me that this name is even more ancient than His existence!"
Klein was first stunned; after all, this name was truly too abrupt and completely out of place in this world.
"Really..." Klein's first feeling was that the previous few Transmigrators had already ruined this world, with things that were neither fish nor fowl appearing everywhere.
Like the "Dark Angel" Sasriel created by the Creator from a rib, His two sons, one named Adam and one named Amon, and that cross that gave such a strong sense of déjà vu...
But under Amon's deliberate guidance, the fog before Klein's eyes seemed to be brushed away, and a certain guess that had always existed in the bottom of his heart surfaced.
A name even more ancient than the Creator of the Third Epoch...
The amount of information contained in this name was too much, almost instantly piercing through Klein's mental defenses.
Thump-thump!
Klein seemed to hear his own heartbeat, and corresponding knowledge rolled through his mind.
"Year, month, day... planet, Sun, Moon... Northern Continent, Southern Continent..."
Countless related common knowledge surged into Klein's mind; at this moment, both of his bodies stiffened.
The Klein outside "Fantasy Land" suddenly raised his head and looked at the crazily flashing Lightning; he had already arrived at the outskirts of the Elf Ruins.
He watched the Lightning flash several times and reached out to take out the Historical Projection of the "Book of Calamity."
He opened the "Book of Calamity" and found a term on the last page, "Western Continent... the original home of the Elves..."
Rumble!
Endless thunder seemed to strike into Klein's mind, washing away the final fog.
"Is this the truth?" Klein closed his eyes, wanting to empty his brain and not think about this question anymore. But it was also at this time that he "saw" a patch of grayish-white fog.
That was "Sefirah Castle."
After Klein learned this news, the Potion within his body was digested almost instantly, which allowed his connection with "Sefirah Castle" to reach a new level.
He hesitated for only an instant, then laughed at himself, no longer choosing to deceive himself, but instead separated a strand of consciousness into the fog of history.
This time he came directly to the time node when "Dream" was still sleeping, and then "backtracked" time once more.
He saw the "Ancient Sun God" who walked out of "Chernobyl" and said, "Let there be light."
But he did not stay, instead taking a deep look at the building in "Chernobyl" that seemed to hide endless years, and took another step forward.
