Chapter 17

…………

But now, Lu Cang only needs to devour corpses to unlock new troop types?

A building that can continuously provide new troop types.

If word of this got out, it would surely cause a tremendous uproar.

However, Lu Cang would definitely not let the news leak.

More importantly, this Evolution Gene Analysis Sac.

It can double the acquisition of gene points!

Doesn't this greatly accelerate his unlocking of special genes?

"Grow, Evolution Gene Analysis Sac."

【This construction requires 10,000 units of flesh and blood, construction time: 120 minutes. Confirm?】

"Confirm."

Soon, a bright red flesh mass appeared on the ground as a base, and above the flesh mass, faint pale-yellow gel-like liquid faintly coalesced.

"This way, it occupies more than half of my neurons."

The Hive neurons, after this evolution,

had already been raised to 100 points.

Yet, this single Analysis Sac consumed 50 points of neurons.

Adding to that a Flesh Wall,

the 【Neurons】 Lu Cang has left are only 18 points.

At most, he can build 18 more Embryo Sacs.

With a thought from Lu Cang, 18 Embryo Sacs directly began construction.

Anyway, dismantling returns the full amount.

There's no reason not to build them.

As for 【Neural Capacity】, the unit that determines the upper limit of troop quantity,

it has been raised to 2,000 points.

Qun sanqi seven two nine one one nine

This means Lu Cang can produce 2,000 flesh grubs.

A mere Tier-3 territory can possess a troop capacity of 2,000.

One can only say, a Supreme-Grade territory is truly terrifying.

Its growth potential is extremely strong.

…………

After arranging everything,

Lu Cang once again left the cave.

The Flesh Wall needs 20 minutes to complete.

The Evolution Gene Analysis Sac needs two hours.

The Embryo Sacs were also continuously producing new flesh grubs, letting the flesh grubs carry bricks for him.

Lu Cang did not plan to waste this waiting time.

Especially now that he possessed the 【Mimicry】 ability.

This was clearly a leap in strength.

Compared to the mimicry of buildings and troop types,

Lu Cang's mimicry had one very great advantage.

Namely, it could also be used in combat!

"The next stage of Hive evolution requires 1 million flesh and blood, as well as 1,000 gene points?"

"I also don't know how the acquisition of gene points is calculated."

"However, in order to analyze a good troop type, I should first hunt and kill a powerful monster now."

Lu Cang tightened his grip on the dagger in his hand.

"In this area, the highest I've seen are Tier-3 monsters."

"However, my current attack strength can at most break through the defense of Tier-3 monsters."

"Any stronger ones, even if I hit their weak point, I might not necessarily be able to kill them."

…………

【World Channel】

"Holy crap, brother, I think I hit the jackpot!"

"I found a Cursed One!"

"Damn, your luck is that good?"

"Heh, looks like brother, you're going to make a small profit."

A Cursed One named 【Bodo】 fell deep into despair.

His territory was of the puppet type.

It was also identified as an evil-type territory.

And unlike Lu Cang, who was so lucky,

his spawn point was directly in a public area.

Even hiding with all his might, he was still discovered by others.

At this moment, the cursed one had been completely surrounded.

Once his invincibility period ended,

he would be completely encircled and slain.

And its territory was also guarded in layers.

Leaving no opportunity for development.

…………

【Rainforest】

Lu Cang moved slowly.

Using mimicry to hide his own invincible radiance.

Merging himself with the surrounding environment.

Not only in appearance, but even scent and touch were mimicked.

Unless it was a monster that judged creature movement by ground vibrations,

it would be impossible to discover Lu Cang.

Lu Cang was slowly approaching a third-tier giant crocodile.

This giant crocodile was different from ordinary crocodiles in the real world.

Its arms were extremely long, like those of a gibbon.

No longer short, weak little stubby hands.

【Long-Armed Giant Crocodile】

【Tier: 3rd Tier】

【Grade: Elite】

【Attack Rating: 50】

【Defense Rating: 32】

【Description: A giant crocodile with immense strength, possessing unbelievable biting force and gripping power.】

【Description 2: Its weakness is the abdomen; if the abdomen can be attacked, it can easily inflict a fatal wound.】
