Chapter 26

The current Crawlers' claw bones already possessed the hardness of granite.

Over ten times harder than ordinary bone.

This greatly enhanced their offensive capability.

But for Lu Cang, the focus was not on these granite bones.

It was another special gene.

…………

【Sufficient units of Slime Mushroom have been devoured】

【Slime Mushroom trait analysis complete】

【You have unlocked the special gene — Flesh Slime】

【Flesh Slime: Covers the contacted surface with a layer of flesh slime. Friendly units moving atop this flesh slime are treated as frictionless and gain a massive acceleration effect.】

【The flesh slime left behind is treated as your structure; this structure consumes no neurons.】

【Gene points required to unlock Flesh Slime: 5000】

【Applicable targets after unlock: All flesh units under your control.】

What Lu Cang valued was this structure attribute.

If it was treated as a structure, it meant he could control it with his Mimicry ability.

If the slime were spread across the entire mountain, he could completely mimic the mountain into an ordinary mountain body.

Otherwise, this Secret Steel Shishan, if seen by other lords—

It could only be said that paper cannot wrap fire.

Let alone the fact that he himself bore the identity of a Cursed One.

An innocent man with treasure invites guilt.

Even if he were not a Cursed One, he would still have to become a sinner.

After a brief moment of thought, Lu Cang still decided to light up this gene first.

Although he did not know exactly how large the Secret Steel Shishan was.

At any rate, from the looks of it now, he could not see the edge.

He did not know what its full appearance looked like.

But having it was better than not.

Moreover, this gene could alter the terrain.

As long as the Crawlers had crawled over a place, it could be completely altered through Mimicry.

Extremely deceptive.

At this Yishiban Society, he had not encountered any monster that required him to use Secret Steel tissue to deal with.

Moreover, even after lighting the 【Flesh Slime】 gene, it still required the troops to crawl for a period of time.

Only then would the covered area become a bit larger.

But Secret Steel tissue, once lit, took effect immediately.

Lu Cang still decided to first use five thousand gene points to spread the flesh slime.

"Unlock gene: Flesh Slime."

"You have unlocked: Flesh Slime gene."

After this gene was unlocked.

As the Crawlers moved across the ground, a blood-colored mark was directly dragged out behind their bodies.

However, the mark quickly vanished, mimicking the color of the environment.

But the Crawlers moving atop this trail gained an extreme boost in movement speed.

And right after lighting this gene.

The Crawler squad encountered an extremely special monster.

【Eye Demon】

【Tier: Tier Four】

【Grade: Hero】

A Tier Four monster, and at that, of Hero grade.
