Chapter 32

Even a Hero-class unit's resource cost was too steep to endure.

A Stage Three territory had a population cap of only 100.

A single Hero unit consumed 20 of them.

Lu Cang did not rush to create Facehuggers.

Instead, he looked at the second type of unit.

【As the tier rises, the observation range increases.】

【Every 10 units of Parasitic Eye — Neural Capacity Consumption: 1】

"The one just now consumed five neural capacity."

"These Parasitic Eyes, though, ten consume only one neural capacity; quite balanced."

"A mental control type unit, a Parasitic Eye."

"It fits the Eye Demon's characteristics quite well."

Eye Demons themselves are psychic monsters.

At the same time, they are monsters shaped like eyes.

Obtaining the Parasitic Eye unit came as no surprise to Lu Cang.

As for the Facehugger...

It also seemed only natural.

However, the Analysis Cyst did not say it could grant two units at once.

Nevertheless, Lu Cang did not dwell on it.

After all, obtaining two units at once was a good thing.

Especially since both units had very significant uses.

The existence of the Parasitic Eye ensured Lu Cang possessed a much larger field of view.

Safety increased dramatically.

As for the Facehugger...

This thing was truly too useful.

Especially since Lu Cang was still struggling with how to make contact with the Goblins.

In this world, some natives were extremely hostile toward human lords.

Some natives, however, were very welcoming of human lords.

And depending on the territory type, their attitudes would not be the same.

But generally, the vast majority of evil-type territories would be viewed with hostility by natives.

Unless the other party was evil themselves.

However... encountering such a situation did not necessarily mean making peace.

Rather, they would think about how to betray and devour the other.

But with the Facehugger...

Lu Cang even planned to simply steal a Goblin corpse.

Use the Goblin's identity to probe the secrets of that tribe.

The Stalker sent out earlier was still following that Goblin.

That Goblin seemed to have come out to scout the outside situation.

Once far from danger, it began to wander aimlessly.

So much so that Lu Cang still had not discovered where the Goblin tribe was located.

"However, there is no need to rush."

With the Flesh Worms transporting...

The flesh and blood should reach one million in about half an hour.

In this way, the Origin Flesh Hive could upgrade again.

Lu Cang himself could not help but sigh.

In this short span of less than two days.

He had caused his territory to evolve three times in a row, entering the Fourth Stage.

On other territories, this was something one would not even dare to imagine.

Of course, Lu Cang also understood.

This was thanks to the Secret Steel Shishan.

If not for this rich treasure mountain of resources.

To accumulate flesh and blood through those trash resources from the outside world.

Even if the assimilation speed would be a bit faster, no one knows when the monkey year or horse month it would take to gather enough.

Lu Cang had tested the assimilation speed by releasing the flesh worms outside.

In fact, it was not much faster than assimilating secret steel stones.

In one minute, it could only obtain over 50 flesh and blood.

Compared to the 1000 flesh and blood per minute inside this cave, the efficiency was simply worlds apart.
