Chapter 39: Sudden Strike

Of the five hundred Crawlers, the vast majority had already completed their evolution.

Throughout the course of the slaughter.

The Crawlers' casualties were few and far between.

They themselves moved with extreme swiftness to begin with.

It was very difficult for monsters to catch them.

On top of that, the Crawlers' numbers were immense.

They always moved in swarms, surrounding a single target or a group of targets.

This also kept their battle losses minimal.

Now, nearly all five hundred Crawlers had evolved into Swift Crawlers.

Among them, over a hundred had already evolved into Crawler Kings.

The Overlord's legion before them, although numbering five thousand troops.

Among them, the number of Tier-3 units was only around five hundred.

Moreover, their quality was questionable.

And Lu Cang's Crawlers, even when they were only Tier-1, could already hunt Tier-3 monsters.

Not to mention, they now possessed 【Secret Steel Tissue】.

Rustle—

On the treetops.

A figure quietly slid a little.

Rustle rustle rustle—

From the Crawlers' bodies, one 【Parasitic Eye】 after another detached itself.

Then, they blended into the surrounding environment.

To be precise, these Parasitic Eyes had also become 【Gazers】.

Tier-3 observation-type troops.

【Gazer】

【Tier-3】

【Special Ability: Threat Level Premonition — Can sense the threat level of incoming skills/items/attacks and issue warnings to allied units.】

【Special Ability: Mental Stun — Uses Mental Stun on a single target, causing it to fall into a momentary daze. This ability cannot be used consecutively; the same target receiving repeated stuns will experience a drastic reduction in effect.】

Compared to ordinary Parasitic Eyes, the Gazers.

Had gained an additional control ability.

But it was only a minor control.

It could only cause a single target to lose focus for an instant.
