Chapter 40

This way, there's no need to issue lord quests.

This is also basic knowledge from the school textbooks — capping levels.

After all, if a lord quest fails, one will face punishment.

If an early-stage lord quest fails, at most it just enters cooldown.

Once it reaches the late stage, one might be permanently stuck.

However, in 【War】, there are Secret Realms of all sizes that can be farmed repeatedly.

Students from the same school, as long as their territories aren't too far apart, will also band together to conquer the Secret Realm.

But.

Qin Feng knows a hidden mechanic — this quest can yield excess rewards.

The more BOSSes killed and the higher the grade, the greater the rewards.

He clearly remembers that in his previous life, there was a guy from the Bear Country whose talent was already extremely strong; bored out of his mind, he farmed several hundred Black Iron-tier BOSSes.

When he finally submitted the quest, he directly obtained a Legendary-grade piece of equipment.

Therefore, Qin Feng naturally had to make a push for excess rewards.

At this moment, he began using the class-change certificate he had newly obtained.

【Wind Speed Archer】

Grade: Tier 5

Cost: 500 basic resources/unit

Food consumption: 100/day

……

Units below Super, that is, below Tier 10, are all recruited in the 【Basic Barracks】.

Units above Tier 10 all require specific recruitment buildings to be constructed.

Qin Feng also paused to consider for a moment.

Currently, his population is only 1,000 humans, so at most he can class-change 1,000 Wind Speed Archers.

Then…

Tier 2 Human Archers would be completely useless.

So he planned to disband all his Tier 2 units.

"Ding dong~ You are about to disband 【Human Archer (Tier 2)】 *24. Confirm?"

"Tip: After disbanding, the class-changed units will return to the regular population, and no experience points will be refunded!"

Qin Feng didn't hesitate: "Confirm!"

"Ding dong~ Your 【Human Archer (Tier 2)】 *24 has been disbanded and returned to the regular population!"

"……"

……

In 【War】, planning one's population reasonably is still very important.

And disbanding low tier units is considered routine operation.

However, disbanding units will not return anything.

The raised levels, unit-tier breakthroughs, and skill books will all be consumed.

Of course, what Qin Feng loses is just a bit of experience points.

And with the aura in place, experience points are the least valuable thing.

He doesn't feel sorry about it at all.

And at this moment, he also allocated all 1,000 of his population to producing 【Wind Speed Archer (Tier 5)】.

"Ding dong~ You are about to consume wood, iron ore, and stone *500,000, and class-change 1,000 human population into 【Wind Speed Archer (Tier 5)】. Confirm?"

"Confirm!"

"Ding dong~ Your 【Wind Speed Archer (Tier 5)】 *1,000 is currently training, countdown: 83 minutes!"

"……"
