Chapter 64: Entering Early: SSS-Rank Public Task! (4/5)

The world announcement boomed—Qin Feng let out a long breath.

As expected, there's a large-scale world event hidden here.

In his previous life, this major event was triggered on the War Continent after the Novice Continent merged into the Main World.

The Main World... was an absolute demon's den, filled with countless old monsters who had been developing for decades.

The current high school seniors can only be considered as playing house.

At that time, Qin Feng was busy defending against the Calamity Army on Blue Star's frontier and didn't participate in this event.

The specific details are no longer clear, but the general plot is still remembered.

The large-scale world event gathers students from all of Blue Star together to compete.

During the event, completing quests and killing monsters will earn corresponding event points.

Anyone who dies on the map will drop all their points.

Based on this rule, every large-scale world event is bound to be a bloodbath.

After the event ends, points can be exchanged for various supplies and equipment.

It's truly an excellent way to get rich quick.

Every major event instantly creates a batch of newly wealthy players.

At this moment, a countdown also appeared in Qin Feng's interface.

1 hour 59 minutes.

In two more hours, the major event will begin, and a portal will appear in everyone's territory.

However...

His gaze fell on the center of the altar.

There, a fiery red portal was spinning continuously.

Qin Feng cast a Scout skill on it.

【Unknown Portal】

Description: A portal leading to an unknown destination.

……

Qin Feng's eyes lit up.

Just as he thought!

This is one of his major advantages.

This portal is clearly the entrance to the event map!

He clearly remembered that the player who discovered the major event back then had entered the event map two hours early and made a killing.

Moreover.

Currently, countless max-level super units are roaming the 【Scorched Plains】.

With the students' current strength, there's no way they can get through.

In other words.

Only Qin Feng alone can pass through this portal and enter the event map ahead of time!

And entering early...

The advantage would be enormous.

Countless quests.

Countless shops.

All could be completed and redeemed by one person in advance!

Thinking of this, Qin Feng didn't hesitate and led all his troops straight in.

"Ding~ Your troops are about to be teleported to unknown coordinates through the 【Unknown Portal】. Confirm?"

"Confirm!"

……

The teleportation light descended.

The system's voice suddenly rang out.

"Ding~ You have entered the special map 【Purgatory of Flame】! As you are the first player in the world to discover this map, you are hereby rewarded: Reputation +1000!"

"Ding~ All quests for the major event 【Flame? Apocalypse?】 have been issued. You may choose to accept suitable quests!"

"……"

"Ding~ Completing event quests and killing monsters will earn event points, which can be exchanged for rewards through special NPCs!"

"Ding~ There are no law restrictions in the current map. Combat is unrestricted, and death will cause all event points to drop. Please stay alert!"

"Ding~ Due to unknown reasons, all your troops have gained the buff 【Scorched Earth (LV1)】. This buff can be removed at the Holy Order Legion's stronghold!"

"……"

As the system voice faded, Qin Feng surveyed the scene before him.

A sea of fiery red.

Dozens of meters above his head were fiery red rocks, clearly indicating he was underground.

The ground was rugged with jagged rocks, also a flame-like red.

Stretching all the way to the end of his vision.

And all of Qin Feng's troops had gained a 【Scorched Earth】 buff.

He opened the status panel to check.
