Chapter 18

Originally, he had been worried.

That Su Yu, who was determined to follow the path of original Magic Cards, would have a mindset that was too impetuous.

But he hadn't expected.

That Su Yu would actually take the initiative to apply to come to the Archives to study Magic Card theoretical knowledge, which is incomparably boring for young Card Controllers.

This caused Lei Dong's impression of Su Yu to be raised once again!

"However, while learning is good, do not let your Source Energy cultivation fall behind. If you need anything, you can contact me at any time."

Lei Dong said with a smile.

Su Yu nodded.

He already knew from Lei Dong that his principal had reported him to the Xuanfu Card Controller Society.

In one month, a special examiner from the Society would come to test him.

However, Su Yu was quite calm about this matter.

With SSS-tier aptitude in hand.

Su Yu did not mind any examination!

At the very least, within the Jiuzhou Card Controller Society, revealing one's talent only has benefits and no drawbacks for a young Card Controller!

However, for the current Su Yu.

Source Energy cultivation indeed did not need to be rushed.

What he needed was more knowledge!

As Su Yu's gaze focused.

His unique attribute bar, under the effect of the Eye of Omniscience, quietly emerged.

【Name: Su Yu】

【Rank: Bronze Five-Star】

【Talent: Eye of Omniscience (SSS-tier)】

【Life-Bound Magic Card: Beast Card · Agumon】

【Auxiliary Magic Card: Technique Card · Great Fireball Technique】

And behind the Life-Bound Magic Card.

Following the completion of the construction of the 【Great Fireball Technique】.

A brand-new prompt had appeared.

【Life-Bound Magic Card promotion route: Insufficient Magic Card theoretical knowledge reserve, locked】

"Learning is very necessary indeed."

After the Eye of Omniscience fully awakened.

Su Yu also understood the source of this talent's ability.

One part was the work settings from the fantasy worlds he remembered from his previous life.

The other part.

Was the knowledge related to the various Magic Card theories of this world!

With the two combined.

His Eye of Omniscience could deduce Magic Cards that truly fit Su Yu's needs!

Looking at the dazzling array of books in the Archives, as vast as the sea.

In Su Yu's eyes.

There was not a shred of fear, only infinite expectation!

"If I hadn't awakened the Eye of Omniscience, I might have really had a headache for a while, but now?"

Su Yu smiled slightly.

He walked into the Archives and took out a Magic Card illustrated guide at random, without needing to look at the content in the book.

He just flipped through it casually.

On the illustrated guide, a progress bar emerged on its own.

And as Su Yu moved, it began to climb rapidly!

In just a few minutes.

A basic Magic Card illustrated guide with over a thousand pages had been "learned" by Su Yu.

And in Su Yu's mind, all the theoretical knowledge recorded in this book had been added!

……

"Curator, that student brought by Principal Lei Dong has been reading books on the first floor all afternoon."

Third floor of the Archives.

A staff member, looking troubled, said softly to the old man who was buried in his work.

"There is actually still a little guy who can settle down and study Magic Card theory? Isn't this a good thing?"

The old man raised his head, a deep light flickering in his aged eyes, and said with a smile.

The staff member shook his head, hesitated for a moment, and then continued: "That is true, but that student's way of reading seems a bit wrong."

"Oh?"

The old man looked up, a trace of curiosity flashing in his eyes.

As the principal of the Third High School, Lei Dong had quite a reputation in Jiangcheng.

This student named Su Yu being personally brought over by him to the Archives to study Magic Card theory.

Even the old man, who as the curator hadn't paid attention to outside news for many years, was a bit curious.

This was why he had the staff in the Archives specifically look after Su Yu.

Only, he hadn't expected this Su Yu to seem even more unusual than he had imagined?

"Take me to see."

The old man said, and stood up directly.

Led by the staff member, he soon arrived at the first-floor reading room.

Then, he saw Su Yu at the end of the reading room, "earnestly flipping through" books.

And, on the long table in front of Su Yu, Magic Card theory books were already piled up into a small mountain!

……

"This book has no more knowledge to learn..."

In the reading room, Su Yu closed the book in his hand with some disappointment.

The collection on the first floor of the Archives was mostly basic Magic Card theory.

As the number of theoretical books he flipped through increased.

For many books, he only needed to glance at them, and the prompt 【No more theoretical knowledge experience to be gained】 would automatically pop up.

Occasionally, there were two or three books that had theoretical knowledge experience to be gained.

The experience provided was also pitifully small.

After flipping for a few seconds, the progress bar would be full.

Perhaps he should go to the second floor to take a look?

Su Yu's heart stirred.

His current knowledge accumulation had already been raised to the level of a 【Basic Magic Card Theory Master】.

But the prompt for unlocking the promotion route had not yet popped up.

Su Yu guessed.

Perhaps it was because basic Magic Card theory was not enough to support the deduction of Agumon's advancement route.

Just then, before Su Yu could stand up to return the borrowed books to their original places.

He heard an old voice from beside him, which was calm but clearly somewhat cold.

"This student, are you here at the Archives to put on a show?"

"Hmm?"

Su Yu looked in the direction of the voice and saw an old man wearing glasses with graying hair.

He was glaring at him, and in his eyes, anger was hard to conceal!

"Curator?"

Su Yu's heart stirred, and he recognized at a glance that this old man was none other than the curator of the Jiangcheng Archives, Jiang Yuan! ===== CHAPTER 20 =====
