Chapter 33

The advancement of Agumon is not just a one-time event!

Greymon, MetalGreymon, and even... WarGreymon!

Can every evolution bring about a leap in quality?

Doesn't that mean.

"My life-bound Magic Card's quality will rise along with my rank, far exceeding the Shi Shi grade, reaching Ancient, Legendary, and even... beyond Legendary!"

In Su Yu's eyes.

A sense of expectation.

Was almost becoming tangible!

But in the eyes of the others.

Su Yu at this moment.

Was feeling down because Agumon had failed to successfully promote to the Shi Shi grade!

That was why he was silent.

However, everyone also understood Su Yu's mood at this moment very well.

When strengthening a Magic Card, the probability of increasing its quality is simply too low!

Many Card Controllers might exhaust their entire lives without ever encountering such an opportunity once!

For Su Yu to have encountered such an opportunity at the Bronze Tier, only to miss it and fail to raise his life-bound Magic Card.

To Shi Shi grade quality.

It was truly a pity!

Looking at the "disappointed" Su Yu.

The elderly curator also sighed.

After pondering for a moment.

The old man's heart stirred; he looked at Su Yu and said softly, "Student Su Yu, if you don't mind, I have a project here that happens to be short an assistant. I wonder if you would be willing to come and help me?"

"Swish!"

Hearing the old man's words.

Su Yu had no reaction yet.

Behind the old man.

The many staff members of the Archives all raised their heads in unison.

Looking at the old man, their eyes were filled with shock!

As staff members of the Archives.

Although they didn't know the old man's identity, they knew some rumors!

This seemingly ordinary old man.

Was actually renowned throughout the entire Xuanfu!

Not to mention anything else.

When Curator Sun first came to the Jiangcheng Archives to take up the position of curator.

The president of the Xuanfu Card Controller Society had personally led the way, looking respectful and submissive the entire time.

That had left an extremely vivid impression on all the staff!

And now.

Such a big shot would actually take the initiative to invite Su Yu to join his team?

"Senior?"

Although Su Yu did not know the old man's true identity.

But seeing the reaction of those staff members.

He could guess that the old man's background would never be as simple as just a Jiangcheng Archives curator!

For a moment, he was also somewhat astonished!

Looking at the hesitant Su Yu.

The old man smiled slightly and said softly, "Come to think of it, you've been at the Archives for so long, you probably don't know my name yet."

Hearing the old man's words.

Su Yu shook his head.

The old man smiled and said, "When I came to Jiangcheng, I introduced myself as Sun Ming, but that was just a name I used when traveling and studying in various countries outside the Nine Provinces. After returning to the Nine Provinces, I changed back to my original name."

The old man looked at Su Yu and said softly, "My name is Sun Yu Kong."

"Boom!"

Hearing the old man's name.

Su Yu.

And even the staff members in the Archives.

Their gazes instantly went blank!

Especially Su Yu.

He recalled almost instantly where he had seen this name!

In the Jiangcheng No. 3 High School library, "Introductory Theoretical Knowledge for Card Controllers", "A Brief Explanation of Basic Magic Card Theory"...

And the book on the first floor of the Archives that the old man had used to test him.

"A Brief Discussion on the Construction Principles of the Three Basic Arrays of Technique Cards"!

These books, which could be called the cornerstones of modern Magic Card theory.

The author's name.

Was exactly "Sun Yu Kong"!

For the past hundred years, the greatest Magic Card theoretical scholar of the human race, and also a renowned Card Construction Master throughout the entire Nanzhou—no, the entire Nine Provinces!

Even outside the human race.

Among the myriad alien races, his reputation was spread far and wide.

And precisely because of this.

Sun Yu Kong rarely appeared in public.

It was to prevent assassination by alien races!

Just didn't expect.

This Card Construction Master and Magic Card theoretical scholar.

Would actually appear here!

Looking at the old man in front of him, Su Yu felt somewhat excited!

Not just because of Sun Yu Kong's identity and the massive amount of knowledge behind his name.

The Magic Card theoretical knowledge available for study!

More importantly...

Although the Eye of Omniscience prompted Su Yu.

That Agumon's next promotion required awakening the 【Evolution】 talent.

But, how exactly to unlock the 【Evolution】 talent.

It did not explain!

Obviously, it meant that the theoretical knowledge Su Yu had accumulated so far was not enough for the Eye of Omniscience to deduce the construction of the 【Evolution】 talent!

But the moment Sun Yu Kong opened his mouth to invite Su Yu.

Below the attribute bar of 【Agumon】.

The 【Evolution】 talent, which had originally been in a locked state.

Suddenly flickered with a faint glow!

【Talent · Evolution】
