Chapter 38

And on the other side.

After Sun Yu Kong left.

Leaving Li Changtian and Su Yu alone, staring at each other, the atmosphere became somewhat awkward for a while.

After a moment.

Li Changtian finally came back to his senses, coughed, and said, "Student Su Yu, can you first tell me how much you currently know about the 【Colonized Armor】 project?"

Before coming to the Yu Kong Research Institute.

Su Yu had already learned from Sun Yu Kong about the situation of this Epic-grade Ritual Card that the Yu Kong Research Institute was mainly developing.

To put it bluntly.

Su Yu's evaluation of this project.

Was only two words.

Crazy!

Ritual Card.

As the most mysterious Magic Card among many auxiliary Magic Cards.

Its biggest feature.

Is constant gain!

To put it plainly.

It is to add a new talent or ability effect to the target of activation at the cost of the Ritual Card being destroyed!

Taking the most widely circulated Ritual Card in the Nine Provinces, 【Natural Element Awakening】, as an example.

Designate a 【Wind Dog Beast】 as the target of activation for 【Ritual Card · Natural Element Awakening】.

After successful activation.

【Ritual Card · Natural Element Awakening】 will be destroyed.

And the 【Wind Dog Beast】 will gain a new talent effect 【Natural Element Affinity】, increasing Source Energy cultivation efficiency by thirty percent!

This is the terrifying aspect of Ritual Cards!

As long as it can be activated successfully.

One can directly add one or even multiple new effect entries to a Card Controller's life-bound Magic Card!

And the number of effect entries on a Magic Card.

Is also an important factor that directly affects the power of the Magic Card itself!

And the reason Su Yu felt the 【Colonized Armor】 project was crazy.

Was precisely because.

In Sun Yu Kong's concept.

【Colonized Armor】 is a fully adaptive Ritual Card that does not consider any type of life-bound Magic Card!

"The effects of Ritual Cards are mysterious and powerful."

"Correspondingly, not only is it extremely difficult to construct, but it also has various harsh restrictions on the target of activation!"

"For example, 【Natural Element Affinity】 can only take effect on life-bound Magic Cards like Wind Dog Beasts that have already awakened one of the elemental powers of earth, fire, water, or wind!"

"If you designate a mechanical life-bound Magic Card, such as 【Godly Weapon Card · Steel Crossbow Cannon】, as the target for 【Natural Element Affinity】, it would just be a waste of a precious Ritual Magic Card!"

Su Yu took a deep breath.

In Sun Yu Kong's concept.

【Ritual Card · Colonized Armor Module】, after activation.

Will form a proliferated armor purely condensed from Source Energy.

This proliferated armor will adjust itself according to the form of the designated Magic Card.

Evolving into an armor module that perfectly fits the designated Magic Card!

Not only can it directly amplify the combat power of the designated Magic Card.

But it can also strengthen the original ability effects of the designated Magic Card.

Simply put.

"It is to artificially construct a 【Sublimation Promotion】 for all Card Controllers' life-bound Magic Cards!"

"Directly and comprehensively improving the combat power of our Nine Provinces Card Controllers from the root!"

Just think about it.

If the Colonized Armor Module.

Can really be successfully developed.

Even if it cannot be mass-produced on a large scale.

With the full support of the Nine Provinces, a production of three to five hundred is absolutely no problem!

As long as three hundred can be produced!

And then all three hundred of these Ritual Cards are handed over to the current Card Controller Grandmasters of the Nine Provinces.

Three hundred Card Controller Grandmasters who are already standing at the peak of the Card Controller path.

Their life-bound Magic Cards will welcome another 【Sublimation Promotion】.

How terrifying a scene would that be?

Fierce beasts?

I'm afraid even extraterrestrial alien races.

Would feel trembling! ===== CHAPTER 40 =====
