Chapter 516

"Forget it."

Su Yu had already prepared himself mentally before this anyway.

Shaking his head,

he temporarily cast aside the helplessness in his heart.

With a flash of his figure,

he headed towards the exit of the Half-Saint Ruins!

"Let's try our luck in this Ancient Battlefield first; maybe we'll encounter some Mythical-type beasts!"

After all, this is the Ancient Battlefield!

Human prodigies treat this as a training ground,

and so do the beast race!

"Whoosh!"

With Su Yu's current speed,

even if he couldn't fly yet,

purely under the dual blessing of 【Rule: Gale Thunder】 and 【Rule: Thunder】,

his speed was enough to rival an Apocalypse Master.

Although the Half-Saint Ruins were quite vast,

with Su Yu's speed,

he still arrived at the exit

very quickly!

However,

just as Su Yu

arrived at the exit,

his figure suddenly stalled.

"Hmm?"

Su Yu raised an eyebrow,

casting his gaze toward the teleportation passage of the Half-Saint Ruins.

Under the effect of this space-isolating teleportation vortex,

let alone Su Yu, who was only a Diamond-tier Card Controller,

even a true Apocalypse-tier Master

would not be able to detect the situation on the Ancient Battlefield outside the passage.

But,

under the effect of the Eye of Omniscience,

Su Yu looked directly through the teleportation vortex,

seeing at a glance

that outside the Half-Saint Ruins,

there stood a terrifying giant elephant, extremely massive and nearly a hundred meters tall, standing upon the sky!

On the surface of the giant elephant, hideous scales stood upright,

as if it were a terrifying suit of armor, reflecting a grim black light under the refraction of the sun!

And under its feet,

an energy fluctuation capable of shattering the heavens and earth quietly spread with every breath it took,

causing the space around it

to erupt with terrifying ripples!

This was a true Lord-level beast!

And observing its aura,

it was at least a Lord Three-Star existence!

More importantly,

"This beast lord seems to have known I was here, so it specifically waited here?"

Su Yu raised an eyebrow.

In his heart,

a strange guess emerged!

"Could it be that the human race has a traitor?"

The whereabouts of all prodigy candidates

were only known to the human prodigies in the same field!

And the news of Su Yu being in the Half-Saint Ruins,

apart from those prodigies from small countries, was at most known to his Jiuzhou prodigy classmates.

"And even if they were ambushed and captured by beasts, they have battle merit cards in hand; even a beast lord couldn't capture them alive!"

"There was absolutely no need to reveal the news!"

As such,

the reason for this beast lord, the Xuan Scale Elephant Lord, appearing here

was not hard to guess!

"If it's not the Western Alliance, it's Many Fusang; in short, it must be some human prodigy who won't give up and wants to borrow the hand of the beasts to kill with a borrowed knife?"

In Su Yu's eyes,

a chilling intent emerged!

Whether it was a human prodigy who was his enemy wanting to kill with a borrowed knife,

or if someone among the prodigy candidates in the same field really had ulterior motives and was secretly colluding with the beast race,

contacting beasts to ambush and kill human prodigies,

both touched Su Yu's bottom line!

Western Alliance, Many Fusang,

robbing prodigies and even attacking Su Yu repeatedly,

but Su Yu had never killed them, also because human prodigies should not kill each other!

But this time,

the mastermind hidden in the dark

had completely angered Su Yu!

"This is not a crime that can be repaid by destroying a few life-bound Magic Cards!"

Colluding with beasts?

Su Yu's eyes flashed with cold light!

The war between beasts and humans is a race war, a survival war!

Even if Su Yu died at the hands of beasts, he would only blame his own strength for being inferior to the opponent.

But if there was a traitor,

that would be a different matter!

"Whoosh!"

Without the slightest hesitation,

Su Yu flashed his figure!

And stepped directly out of the teleportation vortex!
