Why?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ducking in time to avoid a wind gale, his foot crashed into the mage’s abdomen and with the force of ki, the man was blasted backward with immense speed and in a flash, he connected with an opposite wall with his head shattering against it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’I know.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Of course.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The truth was obvious. It was clear from day one why everybody around him keeps on losing their lives.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Of course how much longer could he avoid the obvious truth?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They all died because they were fucking close to him! He was the sole reason for all their deaths.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The more people got close to him, the more they will be indirectly roped into his shit.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Always!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Yes. Cedric died because of his feud with Bale.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But if Grey hadn’t accepted the mission to rescue Max from Bale’s clutches, Kiten’s deeds would have been handed over to Bale.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Max would have returned home alive and although Cedric would have lost the town, he would have been alive.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Janet wouldn’t have tried to slowly poison him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Everybody will be okay.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But no! He had to meddle in because he was paid.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Years later, Cedric had to pay for it with his life.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’AAAAARGH!’ He yelled inwardly as he grabbed the hand of one of the mages rushing at him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>With burning fury, he yanked his hand backward, ripping the mage’s limb cleanly from his shoulder, causing a red mist to erupt immediately.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The mage screamed for a moment before his shout was cut off as Grey slammed his palm into the mage’s mouth, sending a small fireball sliding down his throat.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Explomb.\" Grey breathed out as he rushed forward.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The mage exploded from the inside out with blood and gore spraying into the air.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It had only been a minute and blood had pooled in the hall.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The stream from outside with the one inside joined together, causing the whole marble flooring to become red immediately.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>However, the Supreme Magus didn’t care one bit as a huge tornado whooshed out, smashing into the face of another guard, flinging his body away and causing it to shatter against a pillar.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Glancing up, he could see his goblet wobbling continuously as if it were going to fall at any moment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The elite mages instantly stirred, seeing as the others were losing; they darted forward with superior speed compared to the lesser guards.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Yes! You will surely lose ag—\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Crack! Bang!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Two projectiles swooshed from around the Supreme Magus.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A lightning arrow and a Ki sword.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Before the elite guards could blink, the lightning arrow slammed into the head of one of the sentinels, instantly splitting it open.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>However, the Ki sword was avoided by the others, causing it to embed itself into the ground.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They were about two metres away when Grey closed his eyes for a moment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’Tsk...five star mages?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Shaking his head, lightning crackled around his legs as he clenched a new pair of Ki blades.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BANG!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He lunged forward from his position to meet the four men.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He didn’t run.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He slid.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Grey glided forward with blazing momentum, and on the pool of blood no less.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Swinging his sword from below, he tore through the limb of one of the guards before stabbing his weapon forward into his neck; then, yanking it out and flipping the hilt the other way, he swatted an earth spike to the ground.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Spinning around, he slid forward with uncanny velocity, kneeing a second elite guard in the face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Crack!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The man’s jaws slammed against each other, followed by his skull rupturing.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Skidding to the side, Grey avoided a wind tornado which crashed into where he stood a moment prior, causing the pool of blood to kick into the air and dyeing the atmosphere red for a moment.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In just a blink, the Supreme Magus was already beside the source of the wind tornado.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Thrusting his Ki sword forward, it easily thunked into the mage’s gut.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Grey didn’t stop there; he swung his hand upward, cleaving the mage’s body and splitting his skull apart.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His eyes rolled to the side, catching sight of the last elite guard who stood frozen in a spot, unable to move an inch at the sight of this massacre.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Before the survivor could blink, Grey slid forward on the stream of gore, reaching the mage in a flash.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>His hand was pointed forward, palm thrust and slammed into the mage’s abdomen with minimal force, yet a massive gust of wind sent the man’s body hurtling through the air and smashing through a wall after leaving an imprint.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Swinging his hands to the side, the blood on his Ki swords slid off and joined the crimson stream beneath his feet.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The officials in the room couldn’t say anything as their eyes were wide in horror.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Everything Grey had done—taking down a hundred guards along with five supposed elite warriors—everything had happened in just two minutes.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lifting his free hand into the air, something landed into his grasp smoothly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The goblet that fell from the chandelier.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>With calm precision, he lifted it to his mouth and took a long sip before exhaling in satisfaction.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Now; where were we, Bale?\" Grey asked with chilling calmness as he took another sip.\u003C\u002Fp>",1155,"2026-06-05T15:21:43.022Z",1,"novelbin.me","4e75700d007b0d10daaf3bd892a0bd3a666d40b166e4bf760f3a95401a03161f","magus-supremacy-chapter-918","magus-supremacy-chapter-916",1068,"https:\u002F\u002Fnovelzhen.com\u002Fimages\u002Fcovers\u002Fmagus-supremacy-cover.jpg"]
