Chapter 101

Early the next morning, Xiang Guangtai woke up early. Although he did a lot of work yesterday, his body seemed to have become stronger, and his mental state was also very good.

This might be the change brought about by that knowledge to his body. People who possess spiritual power and psychic power always have bodies and spirits that are different from ordinary people.

July 5th, cloudy. Xiang Guangtai fed Turtwig as usual and received a message from Steven, who expected to arrive in the afternoon.

Afterwards, when making breakfast, Xiang Guangtai suddenly thought of something. Pour the rolling beans, Honey, smoke taro, and bait ingredients into the pot and boil them, put them into the mold, put the Ice Stone on it, and the cold Ice-type energy gradually invaded the solid juice inside. Before long, it was completely solidified and could be cut.

【Obtained "Old Gateau"!】

【Description: A specialty of Eterna City that is not known to people, it can remove all abnormal states of a Pokémon.】

【Completed an additional production, gained reward craft!】

【Cooking food craft (C+): You can make different hot foods. Through your cooking, the food will have some unique effects and will bring buffs and improvements to the Pokémon.】

【Unique buff: Stamina LV1—After eating, slightly increase stamina, not easy to get tired.】

"It turns out that you only need to make a unique snack to unlock the hot food craft. However, although Old Gateau is boiled, it is cold when actually eaten."

Xiang Guangtai looked at the Old Gateau he made and took a bite himself. His energy seemed to have improved. This feeling was very obvious!

If absorbed by Pokémon, the effect should be better!

Afterwards, Xiang Guangtai casually opened the Poké-device and searched for the production craft of Pokéblocks.

He had fully mastered the craft route of bait food, and now he had more cooking food. The C+ level craft is actually quite powerful. As a Pokéblock that was originally very famous in the Pokémon world, he might also try to learn it.

Perhaps the craft of Pokéblocks is B.

Pokéblocks in the Hoenn region are the most famous in all regions, which is due to the fertile Hoenn soil, which can grow many unique berries that cannot grow in other regions. Ordinary Pokéblocks are made by mixing 2~4 berries in a Berry Blender, or made by Pokéblock kits and fruit processors. However, Xiang Guangtai doesn't have a Berry Blender here, so he can only try to make them by hand.

Pokéblocks can provide necessary nutrition for Pokémon. The smoothness of berries will affect the delicacy of Pokéblocks. Delicacy will increase the luster of Pokémon. Blocks will also improve the five aspects of Pokémon's "Cool, Beautiful, Cute, Tough, Smart". This is the fifth content related to Pokémon after base stats, effort values, individual values, and physical stats.

There are many videos about Coordinator trainers online. Soon Xiang Guangtai searched for a video about Pokéblock production. The publisher had a high number of likes, and looking at the other party's appearance—blue coat, elegant demeanor, white hair like silk scarf, small mustache and square face.

"This is Wallace's teacher Juan!"

Juan is the former Gym Leader of Sootopolis City, also a well-known No. 2 Champion in the Hoenn region, and the teacher of Coordinator Master Wallace. During the period when Steven slipped out to dig stones and Wallace served as Champion, Juan would return to serve as the Gym Leader of Sootopolis City. He specializes in the Water type and is also a well-known Coordinator trainer.

Xiang Guangtai followed Juan.

Juan's video explained it very carefully:

"... The flavor and color of Pokéblocks depend on the types and quantities of berries involved in the mixing. The number of Pokéblocks produced equals the number of berries put in. If making by hand, grind the berry powder you want to mix, add Moomoo Milk and sugar powder..."

"If there are conditions, viewers can use fruit processors and Pokéblock machines to make them. In the process of making these machines, berries will be densely compressed and mixed. In the process of making these Pokéblocks, there is a certain chance to make powerful Pokéblocks. After Pokémon eat them, the corresponding flavor state will rise more..."

"Handmade versions can also make powerful Pokéblocks, but the higher the quality of Pokéblocks, the more precious berries are needed. Those who have conditions can try. Different block colors also correspond to different flavors..."

Juan said while demonstrating by hand in the video, and Xiang Guangtai watched carefully.

"So that's it. The essentials of manual production are actually similar to making chocolate blocks. As long as you can make chocolate, you can make handmade versions of Pokéblocks, and the process is very similar to Rare Candy."

"However, the quality of handmade blocks will be very different from berry processors. Ordinary quality Pokéblocks are also suitable for home use, and there is not much expense. For example, common berry blocks like Oran Berry blocks are very cheap."

Xiang Guangtai watched the video while starting to make them.

However, watching the video doesn't seem to be able to directly steal the other party's skills. Or is it because the video was "edited" and incomplete?

Grinding and boiling go without saying, and the cooling part frequently uses the Ice Stone. Xiang Guangtai felt that this stone was really easy to use. With this stone, even a refrigerator is not needed. The Ice Stone sold to him by Volo really has a super good effect. I'm afraid it was knocked off from natural frozen stone or eternal ice.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have said you were a profiteer. At least the Ice Stone is extremely easy to use!"

It just so happens that Oran Berries have been harvested, so Xiang Guangtai of course wants to add Oran Berries from the Sinnoh forest into this Pokéblock!

【Obtained: Oran Berry Pokéblock (Powerful Block)!】

【Description: Pokéblock added with Oran Berries and various berry powders, with various flavors, but mainly bitter.】

【Effect: Improve the Pokémon's toughness and intelligence, improve the Pokémon's luster and growth, restore a certain amount of stamina, rich in many nutritional components, beneficial to the Pokémon's growth.】

【Tip: Eating too much will cause bloating.】

【Completed an additional production, gained reward craft!】

【Powerful Pokéblock craft (B+): Craft for making high-quality Pokéblocks, fully mastering the mixing ratio of berries, the Pokéblocks you make have relatively advanced effects.】

Yellow-green blocks should generally be mainly sour, but if Oran Berries are added, they will be made into bitter blocks.

"Na?" Turtwig just ran over. It seemed to have been watching by the flower pot for a long time. Xiang Guangtai handed the Oran Berry block he made to Turtwig: "Try it?"

Turtwig tilted its head, thinking of the bait and mushrooms it had eaten before, and its eyes gradually became shiny.

Good food again!

If it were in the wild, eating something would require caution, but after being captured, there were no such worries. Turtwig took a bite of the Pokéblock and chewed constantly. Its cautious personality likes bitter flavors and hates astringent flavors. Turtwig liked this kind of block very much and chewed happily!

Abnormal sounds came from its back and top of its head. Xiang Guangtai found that those powerful herbs and the tender leaves on its head suddenly unfolded, and the surface became more beautiful and smooth!

"Improve luster, how did it improve to the head and herbs? Is it because it belongs to the plant group?"

Xiang Guangtai laughed, carefully observing the situation of Turtwig's leaves and the plants on its back. After Turtwig fiercely ate a few Pokéblocks, it felt that it couldn't eat anymore. Its cheeks bulged, its stomach also bulged, and it let out a big breath!

"Na (hiccup)~"

"Oh, this thing can't be eaten too much!"

Turtwig's eyes narrowed, and it lay on the kitchen floor.

Doublade floated into the kitchen, found that Xiang Guangtai was secretly cutting berries without bringing it, and was very angry. Obviously, it was the kitchen knife!

Seeing the round Turtwig lying on the ground...

Whose grass pig ran in?

Doublade held Turtwig high with its ribbons.

"Yo-woo~"

Child, when you are full, the whole kitchen is chanting your name.

"Ah, Doublade, please absorb Turtwig's nutrients. It seems a bit over-nourished!"

Xiang Guangtai remembered, isn't Doublade's setting that it will absorb the essence of surrounding creatures, so it can also be used for digestion!

This sword has so many functions! Digestion sword?

"Yo-woo~"

Doublade's two eyes blinked, and it suddenly thought of a good idea. It muttered "Yo-woo-woo-woo"—although as a knight's sword, it wasn't used like this, but if it added a fat-reduction business to the workshop, many people would definitely come to it!

It turns out I'm so multi-functional!

Doublade thought while its two eyeballs rolled around, holding Turtwig and going out, while Turtwig was hiccuping all the way!

"Learned two food preparation techniques. The customer base has expanded again. Breeders can also buy food items from me, but limited by raw materials..."

The Oran Berries planted in his own orchard are obviously not enough, so he must also cultivate Oran Berries and other berries in the ruins fruit forest. The fruits cultivated through his own hands are of better quality. But before that, buying some ordinary berries from other regions to supplement materials is also feasible.

But Xiang Guangtai thought again that wanting to sell Pokéblocks seems to require some kind of breeder or cultivator license. After searching online, he found that it was really the case. That is to say, he needs to take a test. He doesn't have that kind of certificate...

"It seems that I need to study for a while longer, and then take a breeder license."

It's no problem to do it at home, but it must be certified to take it out to sell. This is to prevent lawless people from selling inferior Pokéblocks and fake products.

Since Oran Berries were harvested, Xiang Guangtai packed a few Oran Berries and sent them to the village.

"This is indeed the miracle fruit Oran Berry... I didn't expect you to really find it. Among berries, this is also considered rare. Now the medicine house can prepare more medicines."

The old man in the medicine house was very grateful to Xiang Guangtai for sending these Oran Berries. Although there is internet near the village, the villagers don't have Poké-devices. Usually, if people investigating the ruins come over, the villagers will trade with them. If not, everyone will live their own traditional life in isolation.

The old man in the medicine house prepared a new medicine, crushed the Oran Berry, and Xiang Guangtai watched from the side, looking at the ratio of the medicine prepared by the old man, adding Oran Berry and Revitalizing Herb. Information gradually emerged in his mind:

【You actively learned a craft!】

【Obtained: Powerful Chinese Medicine Production Craft (B)!】

【The effect of the medicine prepared by you will be extra increased by 50%, and you can use different berries and herbs to make powerful Chinese medicines with unique effects!】

【Can make: Full Restore, Revive, Max Revive, Bitter Medicine.】

Unlocked the production method of the Revive series, and there is also Full Restore. Xiang Guangtai was slightly happy. After the old man finished making the medicine, he handed one of them to Xiang Guangtai.

"This one is my gift to you. It is the secret medicine of Sinnoh. After eating it, it can enhance stamina and eliminate diseases. If given to Pokémon, all the physical fitness of the Pokémon will have a small increase, which can make it break through the upper limit!"

Fruit tree epidemic? Xiang Guangtai didn't expect to hear such things in the Pokémon world, but thinking back carefully, the berry garden in the Kalos region in the game seems to have indeed mentioned similar situations.

Xiang Guangtai took the medicine. The crushed Oran Berry and dried herbs were mixed and tanned into a pill-like medicine.

【Craft item: Sinnoh Secret Medicine】

【Description: A secret medicine handed down from ancient Sinnoh, which can strengthen the body and eliminate diseases. If given to Pokémon, all the physical fitness of the Pokémon will have a small increase, which can make it break through the upper limit!】

【Through the powerful Chinese medicine production craft, you can make Sinnoh Secret Medicine.】

Physical fitness! This is seeing something that can strengthen physical fitness again, and it is all physical fitness! That is to say, speed, strength, technique, endurance, and jumping ability will grow, but it does not have the effect of strengthening attribute energy.

It and Rare Candy have Oran Berries as the core material. In this way, I am afraid I have to open a special orchard for Oran Berries.

In the Johto region, the medicines to improve physical fitness are "Berry Juice" and the secret medicine of the Shuckle grandfather. However, Berry Juice can only temporarily improve physical fitness for a period of time, and there is a time limit, and it cannot exceed the upper limit of the Pokémon's maximum physical fitness.

After saying goodbye to the old man in the medicine house, Xiang Guangtai returned to the workshop. In the sky, the roars of the Charizard group sounded. A large number of Charizard appeared on the distant horizon, gathering like a Dragon Legion!

Also, a huge hot air balloon?!
