Chapter 116: Advanced Rock Knowledge

Even Steven, a gem collector, hadn't heard of such a stone, and Xiang Guangtai felt it was a bit tricky.

Although Giratina indicated that if this kind of stone couldn't be found, ordinary stone would do, Xiang Guangtai still felt that he should satisfy the client's request. Not to mention that it was Giratina!

If we build a good relationship, I can go to the Distortion World to harvest materials every day in the future, and as a descendant of Celestic, Giratina also has a soul link with me. Roughly speaking, can the other party be considered my friend?

And Steven was muttering, indicating that he hadn't heard that the stone had the meaning of gratitude, but perhaps praying was also another form of gratitude?

"It seems that I can only ask Regirock. I have also heard of that stone in Mossdeep City, it is said to be a very strange rock, but I think it should not be the Bai Shi of Gratitude."

Xiang Guangtai decided to throw this question to another "gem excavator"!

"Regirock..." Steven's expression changed slightly, and he tentatively asked: "Speaking of which, I have been concerned about this since before. You can obtain ancient rock from Regirock, and you can also get the exclusive move of the legendary giant. This move hasn't even been seen by my friends. What exactly is the Regirock here..."

"Ah, because of some accidental circumstances, Regirock woke up from the rock mountain ruins where it was sleeping. Its temple collapsed very seriously, so it found me hoping that I could help repair it. In fact, I was planning to set off to repair the ruins immediately after receiving you."

"Maybe you and Regirock will have a lot to talk about. The Regirock I met is also very good at excavating rare stones. In fact, this second Eviolite was excavated by it."

Xiang Guangtai said, and suddenly his eyes lit up: "Mr. Steven also has research on ruins, right?"

Although when it comes to ruins, the best helper should be "Cynthia," Steven often deals with many ruins when excavating minerals in the wild. Perhaps Steven will have some special suggestions on ruin repair.

Although Xiang Guangtai himself mastered the three major crafts of ruin repair, he had never actually practiced them, so he planned to listen to Steven's suggestions.

"Rock mountain ruins...!" Curiosity and contemplation brewed in Steven's eyes.

I didn't expect that the Regirock here would take the initiative to communicate with humans. This is different from the Regirock I know!

In some strange memories of mine that are a bit blurry, I seem to have met the three legendary giants, but that memory is too blurry and unclear. It is possible that it was some delusion produced after seeing Mr. Brandon's Regirock... Steven felt that was the case.

I didn't expect that there would be such useful things as ancient rock on Regirock before. Mr. Brandon didn't tell me, maybe he didn't know it himself.

And the Regirock here is actually very good at excavating stones!

Eviolite, it's Eviolite again!

Steven's eyes became a bit fervent: "I really want to see this Regirock!"

"Also, please be sure to let me participate in the repair of the rock mountain ruins!"

Sure enough, when it comes to excavating stones, Steven couldn't stop. He began to talk to Xiang Guangtai about the causes of various evolution stones.

Xiang Guangtai also often excavates minerals in the wild. From the type of work he does, he can also be seen as a "mountaineer." And in the conversation with Steven, Xiang Guangtai felt that his knowledge was increasing rapidly, and it was constantly increasing, deriving new knowledge!

【You received guidance from a professional rock collector and obtained Advanced Rock Knowledge!】

【Advanced Rock Knowledge helps strengthen your crafts, and crafts related to rocks have been enhanced!】

Xiang Guangtai's eyes lit up!

Steven's rock knowledge, Get☆Daze!

Deep communication with professional scholars and craftsmen with advanced knowledge can better understand the content of their knowledge and transform it into one's own knowledge, and even extend it further!

The sky outside gradually darkened. When Xiang Guangtai and Steven were talking, he suddenly remembered another important thing and quickly asked:

"... Although there is no clue about the Bai Shi of Gratitude, does Mr. Steven know the Berry Master?"

"In fact, I am worried about a special material, and I am thinking about whether there is anyone who can help, preferably a master who has insights into tree cultivation..."

Xiang Guangtai said, taking out the "Golden Ye Zi" and "Silver Ye Zi". When Steven saw these two leaves, he fell into contemplation again.

Another thing I haven't seen!

Even though he is also a person who often works in the wild, he has never seen similar items.

"These two leaves look very beautiful, so, are you looking for the trees that can grow these two leaves?"

Steven took the two leaves. When he touched them in his hand, his gaze became slightly serious. The touch of these two leaves didn't look like tree leaves at all, soft and tough, more like fabric, while the luster was close to metal.

Xiang Guangtai: "This is a leaf that can be found in the Kanto region and Johto region. Honestly, similar fallen leaves can occasionally be found in many trees, but what kind of tree can fully grow these two leaves is still a mystery."

"So I plan to have some exchanges with masters of tree planting to see if they have any insights into cultivating special trees. I can occasionally find these leaves in the fruit trees I cultivate myself. I am thinking, what kind of tree should be used as a base to better plant these leaves..."

Steven smiled and put away the leaves: "Although it is not a mineral, rare materials also make me quite interested. This kind of leaf seems to be an important material, right? Since that's the case, as a partner, I will of course help you with all my strength."

"That's right, these two leaves are indeed materials for two important items." Xiang Guangtai handed out two certificates: "Assault Vest and Weakness Policy, their effects are..."

After hearing the effects of these two items, the smile on Steven's face disappeared immediately and became very serious.

"It's actually such a powerful effect! In that case, I must ask the Berry Master to cultivate and research these two leaves with all his strength. Our Devon Corporation will also mobilize resources to conduct other cultivation experiments!"

At first, I only thought this was a relatively rare shiny leaf, but I didn't expect them to be made into magical items. Steven realized the value of these leaves. If Devon... no, if the Hoenn region can cultivate these two trees first...!

Mastering the materials for making special items, the Hoenn region will leap to become a hot battle region and get investment from companies and enterprises in other regions, as well as the League!

This is very beneficial for the somewhat rural Hoenn League!

"The Hoenn region has a warm climate and fertile soil. No region can be more suitable for cultivating special plants than Hoenn!"

Steven already had some plans in his heart. Although he is not an expert in planting, he knows quite a few masters who have this technology in the Hoenn region!

"Regi——"

A sound came from outside the workshop. When hearing this shout, even Steven knew it immediately—he had heard the same sound at Brandon's place. Without a doubt, it was Regirock!

Outside the workshop, Steven's Metagross was looking at the returning giant with doubt in its eyes.

Is it a legendary giant! I saw it at another trainer's place before, I didn't expect to see it again here... eh? What are you doing?

Regirock touched Metagross's body, and the H character on its face flashed violently!

Yo, you are developing really well, almost the same as my brother Registeel!

Metagross: "..."

Are the Pokémon in this workshop all perverts?

"Regirock! You and Turtwig are back..." Xiang Guangtai and Steven walked out of the workshop. Unown heard Xiang Guangtai didn't call it, so it floated over and shook, indicating that it also came back!

"Good, good, good, and Unown is also back." Xiang Guangtai smiled, and Unown E was happy!

That's right, can't just look at those two guys; I also put in a lot of effort today!

"Your injuries are very serious. Didn't you say you went to train?" Xiang Guangtai looked at Lilligant suspiciously, and Lilligant also shook her head, indicating she didn't know.

At this time, Regirock's body had many cracks and was missing a lot of stones, but it didn't seem to care much, and Turtwig was covered in scars, but the herbs on its back were not damaged.

"Na!" Turtwig and Regirock looked at each other and laughed.

We really did different training today!

Unown created a powerful Pokémon to help us... fortunately, it didn't lose control, right!

"Covered in injuries, hurry up and repair them!" Xiang Guangtai quickly took out herbal juice, various maintenance and care tools, as well as Revive, and applied medicine. The Pokémon stood in place waiting for Xiang Guangtai's "maintenance." Steven was very interested in the new medicine Xiang Guangtai took out.

"This is..."

Xiang Guangtai: "My special herbal juice, which can restore Pokémon's physical strength and eliminate old injuries and diseases hidden in their bodies. The Champion of the Unova region bought this medicine from me before. If you need it, there is still a lot of herbal juice."

Under Steven's gaze, after Turtwig drank the herbal juice, the injuries on its body gradually disappeared. The speed of the disappearance of these injuries was even more powerful than the spray-type "Super Potion," almost comparable to "Full Restore"!

However, according to Xiang Guangtai's description, Full Restore can't eliminate the old injuries in Pokémon's bodies! Steven's gaze couldn't help but look at Metagross.

This Metagross of his has been following him since he was young and has experienced many battles. It once left some serious injuries, but fortunately, his friend Wallace is a top Breeder, so he was able to let his old friend recover.

Speaking of which, he had indeed neglected this old friend recently.

"I'm sorry, Metagross."

"Metag?" Metagross looked at Steven with some doubt, but found that Steven's eyes had undergone some changes.

It was as if... he had returned to many years ago. When Steven looked at it at that time, it was also like this.

"Metag." Metagross seemed to understand the meaning in Steven's words.

There is no need to apologize. As a Champion, you have things you should do. Pursuing strength is your essence, and it is also what you should do.

Steven's expression was a bit complicated. He stroked Metagross's claws. The former friends were once again exchanging hearts at this moment.

Afterwards, Steven looked at the scarred Regirock.

Regirock was also staring at Steven at this time, the H symbol on its face flashing.

So that's how it is. Is the handsome guy in front of him what Xiang Guangtai was waiting for?

However, he has the aura of rock on him...

"Regi?"

Regirock suddenly took the initiative to speak. Steven was slightly stunned. Xiang Guangtai listened for a while and explained to Steven:

"Regirock is saying, could it be that you are also a person who likes to excavate stones like it? You have a strong aura of different types of rocks on you."

"Eh? You understand Pokémon's language?!" Steven was taken aback!

From the beginning to now, Xiang Guangtai hadn't shown this ability!

And Regirock's language is different from normal Pokémon. Other Pokémon don't quite understand what Mr. Brandon's Regirock says!

"I am a Spirit Medium and can understand the language of Ghost-type Pokémon. At the same time, because of some special reasons, I can also understand the language of ancient Pokémon. Regirock's language is like the language of different regions among us humans, or dialects, so many Pokémon have difficulty communicating with them."

Xiang Guangtai smiled, and Steven, in addition to being surprised, heard Regirock's voice again.

"Ah, this is saying..." Xiang Guangtai's expression was a bit wonderful.

Regirock hadn't forgotten its previous concept, and now, it seemed to be a bit excited after seeing Steven.

Sure enough, Stand users (×)... Excavation users (√) will attract each other!

"It's asking if you have any special stones. It also has some stones. If you can exchange them..." Xiang Guangtai was a bit helpless:

"Regirock said before that it wanted to turn the ruins into a place where Pokémon can trade things after the rock mountain ruins are repaired, just like my workshop. Perhaps it is because my Regirock once lived with the ancient people of Celestic, so its behavior is closer to humans, which is why it has such an idea."

Steven's expression was very pleasantly surprised, looking at Regirock as if he were looking at a close friend!

It's different from the "Regirock" in my blurry memory, and different from the Regirock owned by Mr. Brandon! This Regirock of Celestic... really gets along with me!

"By the way, do you know the Bai Shi of Gratitude?" Xiang Guangtai asked Regirock, and after the H character on Regirock's face flashed:

"Sashalili——"

It said that although it doesn't know what a stone of gratitude is, it has seen white stones, near the flower garden of Gracidea flowers it mentioned before, around the tombs of the ancient people of Celestic!
