Chapter 138

Time passed minute by minute, and this extremely ancient building was being given new life!

Can stones talk?

Steven's answer is of course!

Rocks will quietly tell later people the past they have experienced, and the stones that have been artificially processed and built into ancient buildings have even more content to tell. They also carry heavy historical fragments, waiting to be discovered, interpreted, or shelved.

Rocks, gravel, reliefs, etchings, patterns, murals... They are precisely combined and rearranged. Just by looking at them, slight illusions appeared in his eyes, as if the things that had just been carved had actually existed here for countless years, and the artisan's re-carving was just "awakening" them!

"Mido!" Metagross was still releasing psychic power to assist Xiang Guangtai in his work, but it also looked at Steven and conveyed its message.

Although Steven couldn't understand the Pokémon language, the trainer and the Pokémon had lived together for a long time, and they could already communicate with each other in some aspects. Metagross raised an iron claw, and the guide patterns carved by Steven on the ruin floor were immediately filled with bursts of dark blue glowing silk threads, which was a manifestation of the active magnetic field!

It is "magnetism" that can affect Steel-type Pokémon!

Steven looked at the leaping magnetism thoughtfully. He walked onto the H dot matrix on the ground and stepped on it lightly. The dot matrix made of ancient crystals immediately lit up with dim light!

Success? Steven stared intently, but the light that had just lit up quickly dimmed again.

The activated magnetism is not enough, and this ruin cannot function normally yet. However, the speed of repair is amazing. Perhaps it is those reliefs and patterns that have been carved; they should have some kind of enhancement and repair effect on the ruins.

"The spiritual power from ancient times is re-guiding the energy of the earth. Did Mr. Xiang Guangtai and his Pokémon reproduce this spiritual power in this era? It's incredible that they can do this...!"

Destruction of ruins is everywhere, but there is only one place for ruin repair!

Steven looked up and found that the dome of the ruins had also changed. Like many strange ruins, although the interior is a closed space, it is unexpectedly bright. But the interior of this Rock Mountain ruin is a bit dark, probably because the energy flow was cut off. And now, the surrounding brightness is recovering rapidly, and faint light is revealed from the dome, spilling onto the ground and the damaged and collapsed giant stone statue.

As a result, those originally cold and hard reliefs suddenly became warm—every carving was slowly releasing energy wavelengths suitable for Pokémon growth. Psychic-type Pokémon were the first to feel this change. That warm intention sank into the depths of Metagross's heart, and it seemed to hear some kind of echo and wish from a long-distant era.

"This ruin has come alive." Xiang Guangtai stopped his work. In fact, the repair of the damaged areas of the ruins was basically completed!

Huge spiritual power surged in the Rock Mountain ruins. The entire ruin suddenly sounded with ethereal knocking sounds, and Xiang Guangtai received brand-new information!

【Completed a craft production!】

【By combining three architectural crafts, completely restored the legendary building — "Rock Mountain Ruins (Shenhezhen)"!】

【Description: The interior of the Rock Mountain ruins in the land of Shenhezhen is very different from the Rock Mountain ruins in other regions. Here are reliefs and patterns carved by the ancients for the legendary giants, recording the long-distant events of the past. A long time ago, three lost giants helped the ancestors here survive in a harsh environment and taught people different technologies. The ancestors thanked the giants for their help and built a sacrificial temple for the giants as their residence.】

【Ancient people gained the life of Pokémon, and at the same time, entrusted their own lives.】

【Correspondingly, people and Pokémon established a deeper bond than today.】

【Craft Bonus: "Rock Mountain Local Conditions" — Rock-type Pokémon will have a calm mood, and the surroundings of the Rock Mountain ruins will be more suitable for the survival and growth of Rock-type Pokémon.】

【Obtained Special Knowledge: 3】

【Lost Training Method: The training method used by ancient people when driving magical beasts (Pokémon). When using this training method for training, both the trainer and the Pokémon must pay equal vitality for each other.】

【Memory Crystal: Requires attribute gems or similar rare stones as basic materials. After using the knowledge, it randomly reproduces the move insights of an ancient Pokémon.】

【Arcana of Rock: This is a special ability to cultivate Rock-type Pokémon to the extreme. Feel the power of rocks, strengthen all abilities related to the Rock attribute, and transform the battlefield into a "Rock Home Field". Rock-type energy is not solid, but "slowly flowing time". Through the Arcana, you can artificially create an environment for the birth of special rocks and produce rare stones.】

The first piece of knowledge comes from the ancient legends passed down in Johto and Shenhezhen, which is the story of entrusting life.

The second piece of knowledge is of great significance for strengthening Pokémon moves. The insights of a certain move that ancient Pokémon practiced for a lifetime are reproduced in the crystal as memories, which may be able to raise the power of mastered moves to a brand-new height.

The third piece of knowledge... can it create artificial mines?

Xiang Guangtai fell into deep thought.

Minerals in the Pokémon world are, to put it bluntly, crystals of Pokémon's attribute energy. Various rare stones are the forms of Rock-type energy born in different environments. Their birth speed is quite fast, and perhaps people in ancient times used the power of Rock-type Pokémon and the special abilities they mastered to catalyze rare ores in mines in this way.

Speaking of which, combined with powerful Rock-type Pokémon, you can even semi-permanently or permanently change the geological structure.

Arcana of Rock... The naming method sounds like the Arcana of the Earth. Perhaps this is also the hard work left by some ancient master who was good at the Rock attribute after a lifetime of research!

Xiang Guangtai casually picked up a stone used for repair and held it tightly in his hand. The surrounding Rock-type energy suddenly condensed in his hand. In Xiang Guangtai's incredible gaze, a spiritual fluctuation made this stone become weathered and ancient.

【Rare Material: Ruin Stone (Rock Mountain Ruins).】

Handmade Ruin Stone?!

"Hiss... could it be that I accidentally cracked the secret of the birth of Rock-type Pokémon?"

Most Rock-type Pokémon are born in stones or ley lines, such as Geodude, Roggenrola, Carbink... Some of them are even associated with special gems. When the energy of rocks and spiritual fluctuations are combined, and they encounter a suitable environment, can a brand-new Rock-type Pokémon be born?

Therefore, some Rock-type Pokémon are "closely related", even if they look completely different!

The spiritual fluctuations of the ruins are still spreading. Steven pointed to his feet: "The next step is to re-guide the energy of the ruins correctly and accurately. Metagross, I need to trouble you again. Use Psychic to guide the magnetism and energy here!"

"And, Unown, please help too!"

"Unown~!" Unown E flew down from an intact wall, its spirit excited!

Now it's time for me to show off!

Watch my... "Hidden Power"!

————

The spiritual fluctuations of the Rock Mountain ruins suddenly expanded, and the intense spiritual palpitations were transmitted to two similar ruins along with the earth's magnetic field! In the west of the forest, a black temple was embedded in an ancient stone mountain covered by vegetation. In the north of the forest, an ice-blue temple was located near a peat swamp.

As a result, the other two giants who had been sleeping for a thousand years also woke up at the same time as the dot matrix symbols lit up!

Boom... Boom rumble rumble...!

The gate of the Black Gold Ruins opened automatically, and a Steel giant with a rounded figure but metallic luster walked out. However, it was different from the Steel giants in other regions...

The characters on its face flickered with light, and it made abnormal sounds like "Regi-Regi" and "Bili-Bili". The Steel giant seemed very surprised by the changes in the outside world. The former settlement had disappeared and was re-occupied by the forest. And most importantly, an uninvited guest seemed to have come in front of the temple.

A huge orange-gray giant bear stood on two feet not far from the Black Gold Ruins, staring at the Steel giant walking out of the ruins with its black left eye. The blood-colored moon on its head emitted a hazy light.

Found it... So it's here!

The special shiny giant bear let out a low roar.

That "Earth Plate" that can restore vitality to the barren land... Ever since it evolved, it has been able to sense its call. I didn't expect that this plate was not in the Rock Mountain ruins where the Rock giant slept, but was hidden by the Steel giant!

Steel-type Pokémon have a fear of Ground-type, so I must get the Earth Plate, and I will definitely get it!

Please, giant, lend me the power of the plate!

The shiny giant bear originally thought so.

However, the characters on the face of the Steel giant at the entrance of the ruins flickered for a circle, and it retreated back into the ruins. The shiny giant bear thought it wanted to close the gate, so it hurried towards the ruins.

However, the Steel giant returned. When it appeared at the entrance again, it had an ancient, hard black iron hammer used for forging in its hand, emitting rich Steel-type energy!

The legendary giant... can use weapons?!
