Chapter 144

Since you want to plant trees, you naturally can't plant ordinary trees.

Trees that can bear fruit are the first choice. In the land of Sinnoh, there is also soil suitable for berry growth. Wild fruit trees are not uncommon. Giratina originally planned to pull some of each kind of fruit tree, but considering that there is no loose soil in the Distortion World, even if ordinary fruit trees are pulled in, they will probably wither soon, not to mention there is no light here.

In the growth process of plants, light, rain, and fertilizer are indispensable. Although Giratina knows nothing about these jobs, it has been peeking at the real world for so many years, belonging to "haven't eaten pork but at least seen pigs run". When those humans cultivate the land, they often mention these terms and practice them physically.

So Giratina just needs to follow suit.

However, the problem of no loose soil is still difficult to solve, so if you want to plant trees with fruits, tree species that don't care about the soil environment are the best, so Giratina saw this kind of fruit tree called apple tree.

In an area near Sinnoh, there is a large area of such fruit trees. Some are planted by people. Giratina didn't move them, but saw a large area of wild apple trees unattended by anyone near a river beach, so it directly dragged some in.

In this process, it also tasted two apples.

Thanks to the gift of nature, the taste is good! It's quite sweet!

Then, it decided to plant this kind of fruit tree.

Xiang Guangtai had some questions.

In an area near Sinnoh, there are still many apple trees and rivers... Could it be that these apple trees come from "Kitakami"? If that's the case, the quality of apple trees in Kitakami is very good. Giratina really knows how to pick!

"Apple trees also need relatively fertile soil. The most ideal soil type is deep, loose, and fertile sandy loam. This kind of soil has good drainage and air permeability. Prioritize locations with sufficient sunlight and good ventilation. Avoid planting in dark, humid, or low-lying areas..."

Xiang Guangtai began to popularize the planting content of apple trees to Giratina. Giratina nodded at first, but soon the scarlet dragon pupils narrowed unconsciously.

Its head nodded violently!

Oh, no! Almost fell asleep!

"... Well, I know you are not interested in these." Xiang Guangtai sighed.

Giratina had previously made bold words to change this world. Now, just listening to a little bit of cultivation content, it started to lose focus. Sure enough, all creatures don't like classes, even divine beasts are the same.

Giratina was a little ashamed.

Is there any simpler knowledge and cultivation method?

"Yes. I have already considered this situation, so... I have made some useful magical props again."

"There is a Pokémon called Calyrex. I made a statue for it. Its statue can increase the output of materials and make barren land full of vitality. It can be used in conjunction with your statue, and this."

Xiang Guangtai took out a well-made doll!

"Magical prop, Calyrex doll! Take this thing and put it near the plant you want to cultivate, and then you don't have to do anything, just imagine with all your might that this doll has the effect of 'making plants sprout and grow'!"

"Just open the fantasy time, it can be called the gospel of lazy people cultivating flowers and trees."

Giratina's eyes lit up instantly, and its big head nodded continuously.

That's right, that's right, what I want is this kind of lazy artifact that gets something for nothing!

Eh? How come I feel like I was scolded?

"Lilligant, Turtwig, trouble you to make that apple tree grow faster."

Lilligant and Turtwig came to the first apple tree planted by Scizor and used "Growth" and "Mud-Slap"!

The "Great Growth" knowledge obtained by Lilligant in the Dream World can accelerate the maturity of plants and improve the quality of fruits; Turtwig's soil neutralization can spray nutrient-rich mud through Mud-Slap.

According to obtaining more soil in the future, and preparing different nutrient soil for Turtwig, perhaps Turtwig can also spit out different types of soil from various regions through the move Mud-Slap.

The apple tree that was originally planted changed rapidly with the help of the two Pokémon. Its branches and leaves slowly unfolded, and its roots were firmly rooted in the underground of the floating island. Xiang Guangtai picked up the small shovel for digging soil that had been discarded by Scizor and began to organize the soil underneath, while commanding Scizor, who was still planting trees on the side:

"Metal Claw, don't just dig out the soil, you have to repeat the crushing and turning, and you have to add new fertilizer and nutrient soil. Here, take these."

Sweat beads appeared on Scizor's forehead.

Although it agreed to work under this human, there are so many requirements...

"You must be thinking that I have so many requirements! But this is what must be done when planting plants. It is different from the forest with excellent natural environment. In this barren place, every tree needs to be carefully cared for to grow successfully. A little carelessness will cause it to wither and die, and all previous efforts will be wasted."

Xiang Guangtai knocked on the ground with a small shovel: "Besides, carefully using Metal Claw can also give you special insights into this move. By the way, if you encounter large stones or compacted hard soil, you can also use Bullet Punch. Repeatedly pounding the hard soil into particles, and finally making it loose and breathable like sand, and constantly repeating this work, Bullet Punch will gradually become proficient, and its power may also increase."

Scizor thought for a while, didn't refute, but started to practice.

Giratina blinked:

【I think it's doing pretty well】

Xiang Guangtai scolded Giratina unceremoniously: "Far from it! Because you don't learn, you must let Scizor learn. After all, it is the actual executor of planting trees."

Giratina shook its head, lowered its head guiltily and muttered two sentences.

The contractor is really strict... Speaking of which, is it so difficult to transform this world? There are countless floating islands here... If you want to transform them all, the workload is really huge...

If someone else dared to speak to it like this, Giratina would have scolded back, and considered whether to send him two Will-O-Wisps, but after all, the person speaking is Xiang Guangtai... Whether it is from the close relationship or other reasons, Giratina doesn't want to lose its temper at Xiang Guangtai, but reflects on itself seriously.

【Work is really tiring.】

Giratina finally squeezed out such a sentence.

This was agreed by Xiang Guangtai and all other Pokémon, including Scizor, who nodded in unison.

Only Dou Jianqiao's two eyes turned into a look of contempt (-_-).

What are you (Giratina) tired of, you are not the one planting trees!

"If your power can extend to Hoenn, maybe you can get some volcanic ash back. The volcanic ash of Mt. Chimney is a fertilizer famous throughout the region. I bought some on the Internet before, but for this floating island, the amount of those volcanic ash is too small."

【Hoenn is too far... Sinnoh is the center of the world. The volcanic ash of Mt. Chimney is a bit far, but I can get the volcanic ash of Stark Mountain. The effect should be about the same...】

Giratina never thought that one day it would pay attention to that kind of "volcanic ash". But listening to Xiang Guangtai's explanation, there are many materials that can improve the soil, such as Golem's skin, Landorus's tail, the stone of the Tree of Beginning, catching Tapu Bulu as a coolie... These are too ridiculous.

Only volcanic ash is large and full!

"The effect of the volcanic ash of Stark Mountain should be quite different, but as volcanic ash, the basic nutritional elements should not be lacking. In this case, it can also be used as a lower-level substitute."

The reason why the volcanic ash of Mt. Chimney is rich in nutrients is because of Groudon's power, while the master of Stark Mountain is a Pokémon named Heatran. The two are quite different in magnitude.

Heatran is considered to be a Pokémon formed by fragments of space-time power, and it is also said that it was born in the scorching lava inside Mt. Coronet. Perhaps the volcanic ash produced by Heatran also has unique effects.

Giratina opened a passage to Stark Mountain. Stark Mountain is located on a huge island in the northeast of the Sinnoh region. That is the place called the Battle Frontier. There are large water routes there. Through the huge mirror formed by the water surface, the large volcanic ash was directly sucked into the Distortion World!

Fortunately, it is night now. If it were the Unova region, it would be daytime now. A huge vortex appearing on the water surface would definitely attract other people's attention!

Those volcanic ashes were sucked in, placed by Giratina on a relatively distant floating island, and then a small part was sent to Xiang Guangtai.

【How is it, can it be used?】

Xiang Guangtai put on a mask and checked the information of these volcanic ashes.

【Rare Material: Volcanic Ash of Stark Mountain.】

【Description: Volcanic ash falling from the eruption of the volcano named Stark Mountain. It is rich in minerals, can improve soil fertility, contains the weak power of Heatran, and can improve soil conditions. Volcanic ash is regarded as a kind of powder, which can be processed by powder craft, and can be made into "Volcanic Powder". The powder formula is...】

【Obtained Knowledge: Soil Increment — The newly improved soil will gradually spread to the surroundings, turning the surrounding soil into new soil. It requires a certain amount of improved soil as a foundation. If there is insufficient new soil available, the improvement will fail.】
