Chapter 149: Mysterious Ground Craft!

"A beautiful battle! You fully showed me the power of Body Press!"

Steven knew that Xiang Guangtai used Body Press continuously not only because it could deal damage to Registeel, but also to let him witness the power of this brand-new move with his own eyes!

Undoubtedly, although Regirock is a Rock-type Pokémon, on the battlefield, if a high-defense Steel-type Pokémon used this move, the power would definitely become even greater!

Xiang Guangtai stepped over the fallen Registeel.

Although the power of the giant hammer was terrifying, under the neutralization of the special berries, the damage was cleverly dissipated into nothingness. There are all kinds of miraculous items in this world that play a pivotal role in Pokémon battles and cultivation!

"The Earth Plate, I've got it!"

Xiang Guangtai walked to the side of the Giant's Furnace and picked up the pale brown plate!

【Mythical Craft: Earth Plate!】

【Description: A Ground-type plate. When held, the power of Ground-type moves is increased.】

【Obtained Professional Knowledge: 1】

【Geologist (People of the Earth): Able to perceive changes in the earth's energy, stimulate earth power, and increase friendliness with Ground-type Pokémon.】

【Obtained Unique Craft: 1】

【Obtained clue for crafting a mysterious artifact: 1】

【Mysterious Ground Craft (S)!】

【Description: A unique craft that connects all things in the universe to one another. It can use shortcuts to connect important locations, making them gathering places suitable for survival. By reading the ley lines and combining different locations, one can change the flow of the ley lines and establish new ley line structures. This area requires "ley lines" or "dragon veins" to enhance the degree of mystery.】

【Requires (Already Obtained): "Broken Craft," "Secret Power," "Hidden Power," "Environmental Carving Craft," "Ancient Architectural Craft," "Relic Carving Craft," "Orb Crafting Craft."】

【Possibly Required (Not Yet Obtained) — "Town Development Craft (Kalos)," "Dream Link Knowledge (Unova)," "Ultra Wormhole Craft (Alola)."】

【After obtaining the knowledge of the above three crafts, the Mysterious Ground can not only connect important locations to each other but also lead to the Dream World and special spaces!】

【Mysterious crafting clue: 【Ancient Amulet】————Useful location, Valley of Light (He Yue's hometown).】

【Required materials: Jade, Black Jade, Azure Jade, Precious Bone, Pokémon Fossil—requires "Guardian Stone."】

After receiving all this information in one breath, Xiang Guangtai felt dizzy!

After sobering up a bit, his first reaction was that this battle was truly worth it!

Mysterious Ground Craft... what kind of craft is this? It actually requires so many prerequisites? Just looking at the name, Xiang Guangtai guessed in his heart that the prototype of this craft was likely still from the Labyrinth World!

In short, this is a super technology for building a special paradise, right?

And the mysterious item is the Ancient Amulet; Xiang Guangtai was very familiar with this thing!

In the Sinnoh region's game adventure, the Sinnoh Champion Cynthia gives the protagonist a special bone amulet and asks the protagonist to take it to the elder of Celestic Town, who is Cynthia's grandmother. In the game, this item is just a plot device, and its specific function is quite mysterious.

But in the Hisui era, similar amulet items appeared, namely the "Substitute Amulet," "Health Amulet," and "Safety Amulet" that all players love!

The Substitute Amulet prevents one from losing items, the Health Amulet prevents one from suffering from status conditions, and the Safety Amulet makes one less likely to faint. When battling wild Pokémon, these three amulets can be called the most solid "shields"!

And the professional knowledge...

People of the Earth?!

That seems to be a group of people from the movie, and part of the Unova founding legend was placed on this group. The People of the Earth can call upon a huge, invisible power flowing through the earth called "Dragon Veins."

Places where Dragon Veins are stable become kingdoms where humans and Pokémon can live in peace. But if the Dragon Veins go out of control, the earth's power will drain away, turning the area into a gray-white barren land that has "lost earth energy." On such land, neither humans nor Pokémon can live, crops cannot grow, and nothing grows.

And in the movie, the culprits who caused the Dragon Veins to go out of control were the Hero of Ideals and the Hero of Truth, as well as the war sparked by the Black and White Dragons due to their ideological opposition, which ultimately led to the destruction of the People of the Earth's kingdom.

Xiang Guangtai realized that this professional knowledge might have a complementary effect with the guiding graphic knowledge he previously obtained from Steven, provided he could also "stimulate Dragon Veins" to a certain extent.

Afterward, after putting away the plate, Xiang Guangtai saw Steven studying the minerals in the temple.

Doublade was patting Registeel's body with its ribbons, and Lurantis was also poking it, discovering that Registeel's body was extremely hard.

"This is the Black Gold Giant Hammer." Xiang Guangtai tried to shoulder the hammer—unexpectedly, it wasn't as heavy as Xiang Guangtai had imagined?

Or was it because, through forging, his physical strength and power had improved, so it didn't feel heavy to pick up?

【Legendary Tool: Black Gold Giant Hammer.】

【Description: A forging hammer made by the Black Gold Pokémon Registeel. It is heavy and sturdy. Some of the materials used are the same as those used to make its body. By melting a large amount of special minerals in lava and mixing them in the correct proportions, this sturdy metal was created. Regigigas holds the corresponding manufacturing formula.】

【Effect: Steel-type and Fighting-type move power +20%, forging efficiency and forging quality +100%.】

"It's a pity it's too big; it's not convenient for me to use."

Improving the quality of forged items is a super buff. Compared to battle, the function of this hammer is closer to daily production and life. However, Pokémon that can simultaneously increase the power of two types of moves—Steel + Fighting—are the Aura Guardian Lucario, and the Shield King Zamazenta?

"Gachi."

He Yue walked over, cold sweat dripping from the side of his forehead, looking at Regirock, then at Xiang Guangtai.

Although the Stone Giant was strong before, it wasn't *this* strong!

It's fortunate he ran away at the time; otherwise, it seems the beating he took at the Black Gold Temple was considered light!

"Gachi, gachi."

Thank you so much, Stone Giant. Your personality is gentle; I hope you keep it that way and must love all Pokémon!

He Yue touched Regirock's arm and patted it earnestly!

"Beep-beep-beep—"

Registeel's voice suddenly sounded. It had recovered from its unconscious state. Xiang Guangtai had his Pokémon help lift it up from the ground; Registeel's head was round, and once it was slammed into the ground, it couldn't easily get up.

The circular dot-matrix pattern flashed with light, and Registeel stared blankly at Xiang Guangtai. But the giant had no facial features, so it was impossible to tell its expression, only that from its emotions, it could be sensed that it was very dejected, and, unbelievable!

Among the three great giants, it was the strongest and most solid; Regirock shouldn't be stronger than it!

Crashed...!

Registeel waved its hand, feeling disheartened.

Forget it, forget it. The flames of the Black Gold Temple are destined never to burn again. Let the furnace close, and let the dream of turning the strata into iron ore be shattered.

Regirock comforted it.

Don't be so discouraged. You should recognize reality. I have a new work plan now. Why don't we find Regice again? The three brothers can open a small shop in the forest—I'll mine, you forge, make it big and strong, and recreate the glory of the temple!

Xiang Guangtai, however, did not answer, but pulled some polishing tools from his backpack. Registeel was initially puzzled, but when Xiang Guangtai began to polish and maintain it... an extremely comfortable feeling immediately spread from its steel shell inward!

This... what kind of technology is this?!

Since its birth, even its father, Regigigas, had never used such techniques to polish it!
