Chapter 151: Guardian Stone

Rumble—

Emerald green light bloomed around the Black Gold Temple. Ley line energy was materialized, and a certain piece of energy that had been lingering around the Black Gold Temple began to flow around the ground textures. It was as if an "advance arrow" had been framed for the ley line energy, and Secret Power and Hidden Power, combined with the Broken Craft, turned the Black Gold Temple into a "region" that could move!

Xiang Guangtai understood the uniqueness of the Mysterious Ground Craft.

It was somewhat like a regional "teleportation."

Of course, in the game world, there are similar regions, even if not in the Labyrinth World, but in the main world—the Unova region has a location called "Abundant Shrine," and those hollows connect Unova and Sinnoh, which is very magical. Both the layout inside and outside the hollows is extremely similar to the caves of the Lake Guardians in the Sinnoh region.

The three puddle areas on the ground of the hollow represent the three places guarded by the Lake Guardians in the Sinnoh region: Lake Acuity, Lake Verity, and Lake Valor.

Likewise, the three Lake Guardians will also appear in the Abundant Shrine. This hollow in the Unova region is like a different space, closely connecting two regions far apart.

"Next, just specify the new location to connect to. The new ley lines will connect the two regions, adjust their positions, and generate shortcuts, or even link a piece of land directly in parallel to a brand-new location."

"In this process, the Orb Crafting Craft plays the role of making mysterious jade, using these jades to adjust and refine the state of each area, and can also make powerful orbs to be used as the energy of the area. In short, this is indeed a craft gathered to build a gathering place."

After leaving the model in the Black Gold Temple, the group set off following He Yue. However, flying from the sky would be much faster. Steven had fallen into a fanatical state for finding new stones. Although he didn't go mining today, the harvest was definitely more than mining!

"Metagross, Psychic!"

Steven commanded Metagross to use Psychic and released two Metang, and Xiang Guangtai and he each rode one.

Xiang Guangtai put the Pokémon into their Poké Balls, and Regirock stayed in the Black Gold Temple to chat with Registeel, so Metagross wasn't under much pressure, only needing to carry He Yue!

"Gaga-chi?!"

As a Ground-type Pokémon, this was He Yue's first time flying in the sky! The feeling was simply too terrifying!

The Ground-type Pokémon now had its feet off the ground, and the immense tension made it at a loss. Metagross spent a lot of effort to stabilize He Yue's body and issued a reprimand, somewhat annoyed:

"Metang!"

Don't move around when flying in the sky!

In the end, there was no other way but to let He Yue lie on Metagross and use Psychic to reduce its weight. He Yue finally breathed a sigh of relief. Although his feet were still off the ground, at least he could step on something!

"I see the valley." Steven looked ahead. In his field of vision, the mountains in the distance were approaching rapidly. The back of the Shinto Forest had mountain ranges, connecting to the ancient Spirit Peak, extending westward to that nameless huge plateau.

Even from a distance, one could see a large piece of land cleared out in the valley. The gray-white sandstone ground was surrounded by dead, huge ancient trees everywhere. There were no Pokémon here, and no living creatures could be seen.

"Gachi!" He Yue climbed down from Metagross in a sorry state and stomped his feet, indicating that this was his hometown.

"Valley of Light..." Xiang Guangtai murmured. When viewed from the sky, the shape of the valley seemed familiar, but there were similar valleys everywhere in the Pokémon world. Looking up at the sky, it was clear and cloudless.

"It's really barren." Steven commented, picking up a stone from the side to study, and found that there was no rock energy here, and the texture of the stone was also inferior, clearly the most useless kind of land.

Even though the forest outside was so lush and towering trees could be seen everywhere, in the valley deep in the forest, such a barren scene existed in this place that should have been abundant?

Xiang Guangtai used the knowledge of the People of the Earth to sense the ley line energy here.

Very weak.

The ground under this valley was like a hollow, and the earth's power was shrinking and disappearing, so neither humans nor Pokémon, nor flowers, plants, and trees could grow here.

Xiang Guangtai pondered for a moment.

Without ley lines, it meant that the land here was losing its "vitality," which was why the soil had degraded.

Originally, before coming here, he thought it might be environmental degradation caused by soil problems, but he didn't expect it to be related to ley line energy, causing this land to start a vicious cycle. If no one came to actively correct it, this land would be completely abandoned.

It was probably from a long time ago that the energy of the ley lines gradually faded, and it was only recently that this problem became prominent because the remaining ley line vitality could no longer support those plants.

Fortunately, the ley line energy here had just become very, very little, not completely disappeared!

"Re-guide the ley lines, and then carry out a brand-new improvement of the soil, and this land will gradually come alive."

Although the soil had degraded, how did it compare to the land on the floating islands of the Distortion World? Even the soil there could be re-cultivated, let alone here. The soil there didn't even have ley lines!

Xiang Guangtai already had a plan in his heart, and there were even better means!

If he wanted to guide the ley lines, didn't he have the Mysterious Ground Craft he just obtained!

In this way, he could make this land regain its vitality at an extremely fast speed!

Xiang Guangtai even brought the Symbol Plate! Let's borrow the power of those Legendary Pokémon related to the land!

He Yue was looking for the cave where he lived. Not far away was a huge cave with many dead branches and leaves, all collected from those withered and dead towering trees. He Yue entered the cave and soon carried out a huge stone, panting!

Xiang Guangtai's gaze looked toward the cave and found many pairs of eyes staring at their group inside the cave.

Were those the Pokémon here?

He Yue seemed to have said that he was called the Mountain God by those weak Pokémon here, so, was that cave also a shelter for weak Pokémon?

"Gachi." He Yue put down the big stone and told Xiang Guangtai that this was the special stone he mentioned.

"Huh, a shape I've never seen before, very special." Steven's gaze was fixed on this stone. He came here just to see this thing, but now it looked more like some kind of carving left by the ancients?

This was not necessarily a mineral in the natural world, Steven felt a little disappointed in his heart.

But Xiang Guangtai's expression became slightly solemn.

Steven didn't recognize the shape of this stone because he was the Champion of the Hoenn region, and before Sinnoh Champion Cynthia investigated the Shinto ruins, no one knew about the Pokémon "Arceus," so naturally, they couldn't recognize the shape of this stone.

"So it was this stone!"

"Do you know something?" Steven was a little speechless.

You recognize it again! This will make me, a gem collector, look very unprofessional!

Xiang Guangtai could only return an awkward but polite smile.

Its appearance was the same as what He Yue described, but to describe it more specifically, its shape was the cross-shaped, wheel-like object on Arceus's body called the Multitype. In the Kalos region, there was a place called the Hall of Origin, where people who mastered special abilities made the shape of the Multitype into ornaments, which were said to bring miraculous protection.

And in the ancient Hisui era, there was such a unique stone that naturally presented this appearance without artificial carving and possessed the miraculous power to make the three great amulets!

【Craft Item (?): Guardian Stone.】

【Description: A strange stone whose shape is exactly the same as the Multitype for some reason. It comes from an unknown era and seems to have a close connection with Arceus. It can bring miraculous protection to humans and Pokémon. This stone will never be damaged.】

【Craft Function 1: Pray and make a wish to the Guardian Stone with gratitude, which can make amulets of specific shapes have unique effects.】

【Craft Function 2: Increase the potential limit of humans and Pokémon, causing strange changes in humans and Pokémon.】
