Chapter 174

The giant meteorite facing the Hoenn region, its true face is a Pokémon called Deoxys. Every time this guy appears, it is accompanied by a meteorite, almost without exception. And it can be seen from the theatrical version that they have a very strong sense of companionship. When one companion disappears or goes missing, the other companions will spare no cost to find the missing companion.

And when they enter the Pokémon planet in meteorite form, they will face severe tests. Because small meteorites will be eaten as snacks by Rayquaza living in the ozone layer, and this one, Rayquaza cannot eat it because it is too big.

Therefore, Rayquaza should be seeking the power of Mega Evolution now. For this reason, it is possible to lead out the Legendary Giant Stone in advance. That stone discovered from the Hoenn region is considered one of the sources of Mega Evolution.

"Every time Deoxys appears, it is fighting Rayquaza. In the Special Manga, the Deoxys that triggered the giant meteorite crisis was an individual abandoned by Giovanni after experiments. In order to take revenge, it returned to this planet carrying a giant meteorite."

"But in the game, the intention of this Deoxys was not explained. If it also came to look for companions, then there is really a place in the game that has something to do with it."

"Not located in the south of the Kanto region, on Birth Island near the Sevii Islands. In the Special Manga, the Deoxys on this island is exactly another individual controlled by Giovanni, and has a great origin with the Deoxys carrying the giant meteorite. Most importantly, both of them will wrap themselves with Cosmic Power, while other individuals that appeared in the theatrical version and the anime do not have this characteristic skill."

"And in the game, Birth Island has a strange setting. Although Birth Island is clearly located in the Sevii Islands in 'FireRed/LeafGreen,' opening the map in this place in 'Emerald' still shows the map of the Hoenn region, but it is not marked anywhere."

The plan currently being executed in the Hoenn region... In order to meet the giant meteorite, the remnants of Team Magma and Team Aqua, the Devon Corporation, and the Draconids have probably all started activities, and the plans of the three parties will seriously conflict.

But that will always be solved by the protagonists there. Brendan and May, they will control Rayquaza to perform Mega Evolution to enter space, and then fight the Deoxys carrying resentment.

Out of curiosity, Xiang Guangtai used the Mystic Voucher Craft to draw a "ship ticket."

After purchasing some art for research, his painting skills also had a certain improvement, but there is still a difference from what is printed, and one can tell at a glance that this is a counterfeit.

But, due to the special craft, when this ticket is handed to others, others will be affected by mysterious power and treat this ticket as a truly usable "special item."

【Craft: Aurora Ticket.】

【Description: A necessary ship ticket when heading to Birth Island. It radiates light beautifully. Manufactured through Mystic Voucher Craft, it is a counterfeit with the same effect as the genuine ship ticket (Genuine? Perhaps such a thing does not exist).】

【Effect: A ship ticket that can be used at any pier. After carrying it, when disembarking, the disembarkation location will be changed to Birth Island. Those who have not held the ship ticket cannot arrive.】

Keeping this ship ticket well, Xiang Guangtai decided to use it after leaving Sinjoh. Afterwards, he entered the Inverted World with the Heat Rock and some materials, as well as important "items."

"Eh?" Just returned to the abandoned workshop in the Inverted World, pushing the door open, he heard the cry of Pokémon. On both sides of the house, there were a few more apple trees. Those Applin were shaking their bodies leisurely on and under the trees, and using their abilities to process those apples.

When seeing Xiang Guangtai enter, the timid Applin raised their large eyes, then issued nervous calls of click-clack, all drilling to the top of the apple tree, gathering together to build courage, but curiously stretched out their large eyes one by one to observe Xiang Guangtai.

Humans?

Some Applin looked at Xiang Guangtai who appeared here in confusion, but compared to Giratina and that terrifying Scizor, humans seemed approachable here.

Xiang Guangtai waved to the Applin, looked left and right, and did not see Giratina and Scizor. Thinking they should have gone to other floating islands to deal with the land, it just so happened that he brought quite a few statues for it, which could further develop the floating islands here.

"Click-clack...?"

"【?】"

Question marks seemed to appear on the heads of the Applin. They looked at each other suspiciously, feeling that the human before them had no malice, so they jumped down along the tree trunk. For a time, apples fell on the ground like rain. They gathered around Xiang Guangtai, looking up at Xiang Guangtai with large eyes full of confusion.

"Eat?" Xiang Guangtai took out Energy Cubes. For gluttonous Pokémon, delicious food is the first step to establishing a friendly relationship. And the gluttonous Applin, after smelling the fragrance emitted by the Energy Cubes, immediately wagged their tails, light shone in their eyes, and they couldn't wait to "press" the Energy Cubes under their bodies and feast on them!

"Click! Click!"

The Applin jumped up, feeling that their bodies were about to melt, and abundant energy surged again. The surrounding Applin saw the "first bug to eat the Energy Cube" reveal an expression of enjoyment, and they also became anxious one after another, all gathering together. Looking from a distance, it was like a large pile of apples rolling!

The gluttonous Applin shared the Energy Cubes, while Xiang Guangtai put down the Celebi statue. Those Applin who finished eating curiously gathered in front of the Celebi statue. They ate and drank enough and looked blankly at the beautiful Pokémon stone statue. Then, it was as if their brains were struck by lightning once, and a flash of inspiration flashed through the brains of all the Applin!

【Applin (X10) recalled a move!】

【Which move to recall: Defense Curl, Rollout, Recycle, Sucker Punch.】

【Do you want to let the Pokémon choose for themselves?】

"Recycle."

Another reason why Xiang Guangtai came to the Inverted World was exactly because he promised Giratina that he would help these Applin so that they could become qualified apple cultivators. Therefore, among the four moves available for recall, he naturally had to choose the most useful Recycle.

Now, even the Applin with the "Gluttony" ability became guys useful to the Inverted World!

"Click-clack-click!"

The Applin jumped up in surprise. They completely mastered the move "Recycle." Under Xiang Guangtai's gaze, the Energy Cubes that had already been eaten by them were recreated in the form of apple cubes!

For Pokémon that can learn "Recycle," the "Recycle" methods they use are different. The recycling of Energy Cubes is the result of the re-action of apple pulp and cube residue as well as Grass-type and Dragon-type energy. Holding a testing mentality, Xiang Guangtai picked a fresh apple and threw it to one of the Applin. That Applin was a conspicuous cyan color.

【Ingredient: High-Quality Large Apple.】

【Description: After eating, restores 100 fullness. When fullness is full, increases 10 maximum fullness, restores 20 HP. By performing cultivation in a specific direction, different branch varieties can appear.】

"Shiny?" Xiang Guangtai stared curiously at this green apple. The latter glanced at Xiang Guangtai, blinked, and ate most of the fresh apple like a small whirlwind, leaving some residue. The green apple seemed to be performing deliberately, used the move Recycle, and under Xiang Guangtai's gaze, the apple that only had residue left and had become "eaten leftovers" quickly regrew pulp and returned to its original state!

"Oh, it looks a bit like regeneration. Is this one of the essences of Recycle?" Xiang Guangtai lifted the green apple. This Shiny Applin was no longer afraid of Xiang Guangtai, but was looking at Xiang Guangtai with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Can you let me see how your Ripen ability works?" Xiang Guangtai made a request to the green apple. The green apple made a click-clack sound, then jumped hard, returned to the apple tree, lay on a relatively green apple, gathered the strength of its whole body, and soon that apple changed at a speed visible to the naked eye!

【Applin (Cyan) completed a task, and obtained experience and growth.】

【Obtained Scholarship: Designated Forcing—cooperate with the Ripen ability and the Recycle move, can make originally green fruits grow rapidly and produce mutations. According to the cultivation direction, different flavors of Miracle Apples can be designated for forcing. Cooperate with mutation-type knowledge to cultivate unique apples.】

"Click-clack?" The green apple looked at the apple under it that had become larger in confusion. Xiang Guangtai also reached out, and the scholarship of mutation played a role at this time. That red large apple suddenly became more lustrous and turned into the color of "gold"!

【High-Grade Ingredient: Golden Apple!】

【Description: A special fruit that originally only appeared in the Mystery Dungeon world, containing a large amount of nutrition and energy, very beneficial to the growth of Pokémon. After eating, fullness is completely restored, and 50 maximum fullness is increased. All base abilities of the Pokémon will grow.】

【Effect: Cultivation gain, eliminates all abnormal states and restores all lost life.】
