Chapter 244

The imitation version of the Lunar Wing emitted a hazy glow, trying to dispel the darkness in this cold universe, but that bit of light was too weak compared to the resentment accumulated over endless years, and the pitch-black light ball began to change its form.

It turned into "Deoxys," but its whole body was covered like black mud, without any face at all.

Deoxys is a bipedal Pokémon that looks like an alien, possessing four forms. Its original body is mainly orange-red, its face is blue-green, with a purple stripe running through it, and its chest is a brilliant cosmic crystal.

Some people think it is a Pokémon generated after the DNA of cosmic viruses attached to meteorites mutated!

Because this world is not reality, cosmic viruses can appear in this posture. This is the world of nightmares, and also an exotic space connected to the black and white world.

"After Uxie's heart hollow, Uxie will appear in the Nacrene Museum, because this place gathers the memories of history and the wisdom of life. Through Uxie's power, all the memories of a life can be transmitted to others."

"In the plot, Professor Juniper said that the locations they flew to are places related to knowledge, emotion, and will in the Unova region."

"At the entrance of the Nacrene Museum, the top of Celestial Tower, and somewhere on Route 23, you will feel an incredible aura. Those places have their spiritual power!"

【Remark 1: This different-dimensional space is 'in a nightmare,' and at the same time it is also in the black and white 'other people's world'! That is, the inner world that is usually called invisible and occasionally fallen into by people! This world has a strong connection with dreams, so it coexists with nightmares.】

【Remark 2: Life trapped in a nightmare will wander in this world and cannot wake up. Because it is tortured in the nightmare, it will also affect the weakness of the real body. You must wake up the life having the nightmare, or defeat/capture the source of the nightmare to lift it.】

【Remark 3: Life trapped in a nightmare will actively launch an attack!】

The Entree Tree sent information.

Guang Tai also has a certain understanding of the nightmares in the Pokémon world.

Not to mention the well-known nightmare event in Alamos Town that has not happened yet. Except for Darkrai, Beheeyem and Mismagius have also shown the ability to pull others into the nightmare world, and Ash has often been a victim.

In the upper right corner of Canalave City in the Sinnoh region, there is a house that has been locked for fifty years. When you use the distribution item Member Card as a key, you can enter. You will meet a man who speaks strangely and forces you to go to bed. Then you will be teleported to the dream Newmoon Island and meet a Darkrai.

Once the protagonist defeats Darkrai or captures it, they will learn the truth about Darkrai's self-exile.

In the house in the lower left corner of Canalave City, the captain's child will also fall into a nightmare, and needs the Lunar Wing to help him dispel the nightmare and wake up.

In that city, Darkrai will appear for a specific period of time every year, and then Cresselia will come to take it away.

In the world of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, the nightmare is a labyrinth in a dream, which is essentially an exotic world created by Darkrai from which one cannot wake up.

【"Life... so lonely... so painful... hometown... I want to destroy you!"】

The pitch-black Deoxys changed its form, from Normal Form to Attack Form!

"Awoo! (The appearance has changed!)"

"It's Attack Form! Use Protect!"

Riolu and Lurantis used Protect at the first time, and the sharp tentacle tips of Deoxys burst out a violent energy halo, creating a ball of energy shining with many colors between the tentacles, and smashed over with unimaginable power!

Psycho Boost!

Use all your strength to attack the opponent. After using it, your Special Attack will be greatly reduced due to the recoil!

This is Deoxys's signature move!

The light screen of Protect exploded with a bang, and Guang Tai established a mental connection with the two Pokémon!

Is the nightmare world also a kind of dream world? Guang Tai thinks it might be a variant of the dream world.

"Used Psycho Boost, but there is no state of energy decline on the body, because this is a dream, so everything is possible, and negative effects naturally do not exist."

Just like when fighting in Mime Jr.'s mental world, almost anything can be done in one's own mental field, and there is no need to impose any restrictions on oneself!

The pitch-black Deoxys in front of him has gone completely crazy. It just wants to destroy everything and finally destroy itself. This is the result of the nightmare affecting it. Endless resentment gathered, and it died before it was born. Speaking of which, there are many meteorites in the universe that face the same fate as Deoxys.

Not every meteorite can give birth to them!

Hum——

Suddenly, the blue crystal pendant on Guang Tai's chest emitted a faint light.

The tears of the prince from ancient legends are the mental power that most restrains these resentments. The actions of the pitch-black Deoxys suddenly stalled, and its mind had a moment of trance!

Now is the time!

Lurantis put one hand on Riolu, and the flower crown on her head emitted a gorgeous and hazy light.

The King's Flower Wang Guan in the dream, if it is in a dream, will make this dream active. If you master special power, you can improve the feedback of these powers in the world!

Riolu stared at Deoxys, its hands made the action of a Ki blast, and powerful Psychic-type power gathered in its claws!

Copycat·Strengthen·Psycho Boost!

The huge Psychic light ball was returned. Deoxys was controlled for a moment and was hit head-on by Psycho Boost. The powerful star Aura spread violently outward, while Lurantis stretched out the leaves of her left arm, gathered a lot of light, and formed a sword of light!

Solar Blade!

Condense all the light onto a leaf, making the Solar Blade extremely huge, and then, swing it out with one blow!

The surface of the nightmare world is a barren meteorite field, and the cold and pitch-black universe is dotted with terrifying and ruthless stars. The Solar Blade illuminated this dark universe, but such a fierce offensive was blocked.

A circular barrier appeared on Deoxys's body to block this blow, and its form... became like a round, fat person.

Defense Form!

"Deoxys can change its posture at any time according to the battle situation. Theoretically, it has a base stat total of 910!"

Attack Form Deoxys can change forms to confuse opponents. When changing to Defense Form, it can absorb attacks by changing cell forms. Speed Form's body shape is very suitable for fast movement, and Normal Form is balanced in all aspects!

One person and one Pokémon chatted like this, and soon immersed themselves in academic exchanges. Lenora, the Gym Leader on the side, was a little ashamed, and she was also very surprised that there were Pokémon that could communicate with humans without obstacles.

When fighting a Pokémon with the Pressure ability, physical strength consumption will double in reality! If you lose enough physical strength, you won't be able to use moves!

After Defense Form Deoxys blocked Lurantis's giant Solar Blade with Protect, it immediately transformed into Speed Form!

Its body turned into a phantom faster than light!

Extreme Speed!

Lurantis turned around suddenly, and her leaves spun like sharp blades!

Aerial Ace!

Extreme Speed has powerful priority and is indeed difficult to deal with, because you can't predict which direction the opponent will attack from, but sometimes using some moves flexibly can also block these priority moves!

Aerial Ace is a move that never misses! Lurantis used Aerial Ace to block Deoxys's Extreme Speed, but the opponent's power was greater, causing Lurantis to let out a painful low moan.

The next moment, Riolu's Aura Sphere smashed over!

The power of Aura resides in my heart!

Under the gain of star Aura, the power of Aura Sphere will be further improved. Deoxys in Speed Form cannot take into account defense. After being attacked by Aura Sphere, it was knocked away and immediately changed its posture.

Attack Form... Zap Cannon!

Launch a cannon-like electric current to attack. Make the opponent fall into a paralysis state! That golden shining light cannon roared and smashed towards the two Pokémon!

Riolu also held its claws and pushed forward!

Copycat·Zap Cannon!

The collision of the two Zap Cannons exploded a big pit on the spot!

"Deoxys's weaknesses are Bug, Dark, Ghost, use Copycat again!"

Under Guang Tai's mental command, Riolu blasted the Zap Cannon again. The shining golden electric light exploded with light in this cold and pitch-black universe, and Deoxys's form transformed into Defense Form!

Defense Form·Mirror Coat!

The damage received from the opponent's special attack will be returned to the same opponent 2 times!

However, what Guang Tai needs is this gap! Lurantis danced directly and used "Encore"!

The special effects like stage spotlights shone on Deoxys, locking its move to Mirror Coat!

Now is the time!

Riolu's eyes gathered power!

Lock-On + Quick Attack!

Riolu directly avoided the light wave returned by Mirror Coat, rushed directly onto the Defense Form Deoxys, and swung its claws down violently!

Shadow Claw!

This blow caused an effective hit, and at the same time, an item appeared in Riolu's hand!

Lunar Wing!

"Awoo! (Wake up!)"

The Lunar Wing was pressed hard on Deoxys!

But Deoxys quickly changed its posture to avoid the subsequent offensive, and at the same time, its tentacles swung violently, smashing the imitation Lunar Wing to pieces!

Lurantis's Encore could only lock its moves but not its form transformation. Riolu flipped in mid-air, looking at the shattered Lunar Wing in astonishment, but immediately adjusted its mentality. After landing, it directly lifted a huge rock and smashed it towards Deoxys!

Lock-On + Throw!

Thud! This blow hit Deoxys solidly. The power of the giant rock was at least 130. Riolu's proud great strength came in handy!

Deoxys's body trembled violently in mid-air, and the pitch-black body surface twisted and squirmed continuously, showing its pain at this time. The sad Aura was transmitted to Riolu's heart again, making the blue puppy stop its actions.

Aura can observe the appearance of people and Pokémon, can communicate mentally, and can also observe the changes of nature. And Deoxys's painful roar was transmitted to Riolu's heart again, affecting Riolu's actions.

It seems that the Lunar Wing is not useless, it still played some role!

Should I use the Lunar Wing again?

Just when Riolu was hesitant, the crazy Deoxys transformed into Attack Form again!

Psycho Boost!

The violent Psychic light cannon was fired suddenly!

Riolu dodged in a hurry, but Deoxys had already become Speed Form and hit the blue puppy with Extreme Speed!

After Speed Form... is Attack Form!

Extreme Speed + Superpower!

This punch was powerful, and Riolu's fragile body couldn't withstand this blow and was knocked away by Deoxys. Lurantis's Solar Blade slashed over from the other side. Deoxys let out a painful scream, its arms spiraled and danced, and the sharp tentacles filled with cold air directly pierced Lurantis's leaves!

Ice Punch from the universe!

Cold, resentment, loneliness, the terrible cold air was freezing Lurantis's body and soul, but the crown on Lurantis's head emitted a faint light, absorbing the light from the universe, and used "Sunny Day + Synthesis."

Synthesis, restore your own life. Depending on the weather, the recovery amount will also change. In Sunny Day and Harsh Sunlight states, it restores two-thirds of the user's maximum life.

However, it was not just Lurantis that could restore moves. Deoxys's black mud also replenished the parts that were broken before. That is "Recover."

Recover, let cells regenerate, thereby restoring half of its maximum life.

"Under the Pressure ability, Synthesis cannot be used all the time. Although it is recovering life, physical strength is always decreasing. The Pressure ability in real combat is quite powerful."

Guang Tai put down his backpack.

Now is the time for the trainer to enter the battle!

A firearm appeared in Guang Tai's hand, but this was not a beam gun that could fire lasers and other weapons, but a special item that could be made when he obtained mechanical knowledge a long time ago.

Since it is a dream world, it is not surprising to take out any items, right? The nightmare world is also a kind of dream world!

【Item: E·Bullet Gun!】

【Description: A bullet gun held by a certain Pokedex holder, an item made by the machine king of the Hoenn region. By loading different regional soils into the bullet gun, you can hit a pattern similar to a "formation" on the ground, thereby soothing Pokémon that have fallen into panic and rage!】

【Effect: Local Soothing! Use the soil of the hometown to condense power to calm down crazy Pokémon!】

This is the weapon of Emerald, a Pokedex holder in the special edition. Although he is not a likable character in various senses, his items are really useful when soothing violent Pokémon!

"The universe is physically defined as all space and time and their connotations, including all energy in various forms! So, although I don't know where your hometown is, in our world, there is also a location that contains the same space-time aura as your hometown!"

"This is the soil of the Stage of Light, from the ruins of Sinnoh. That is the mythical stage where time, space, and antimatter were born!"

"When these three forces interact, a new universe is born. Because of this, your world and ours are no different. We are all lives from the universe, bathed in the energy of time, space, and antimatter!"

【Remark: Deoxys possesses the power of stars (VSTAR)! "Star Power"! Can only be used once in battle, causing an additional 60% damage of the total damage of both sides' Pokémon in battle!】

The Entree Tree felt Deoxys's abnormality. When Guang Tai took out the E-Bullet Gun, the pitch-black Deoxys also emitted powerful ripples, which was the cosmic Aura like the Trial Rock!

The heavenly power gifted by Arceus!

Deoxys pulled out its tentacles violently and did not continue to stalemate with Lurantis. At this time, Riolu had climbed up. It was swaying, holding a Revive Jelly in its hand and sucking it wildly.

After all, this is the best recovery item the puppy has ever seen! I suck suck suck!

Max! Revive!

"Awoo!" Riolu released Aura forward. It indicated that it had fully understood Deoxys's loneliness and hoped that it would stop going berserk. The Aura of Entree, its own Aura, and the Aura of the universe were combined into one!

Mental concentration, concentration, super concentration!

Deoxys's chest released huge pitch-black energy! That terrible cosmic malice weather shrouded the entire nightmare world!

Nasty Plot, and then... Dark Pulse!

The huge and terrible cosmic shadow turned into a thunder-like dark ripple and attacked Guang Tai and the two Pokémon, and Riolu concentrated all its spirit at this moment and copied this move!

【Riolu learned "Psych Up"!】

Psych Up, impose a self-suggestion on yourself, making the state of ability changes the same as the opponent!

Riolu's Special Attack has risen sharply!

Riolu copied Deoxys's Star Power!

If Deoxys is wrapped in resentment and cosmic malice, then Riolu at this time is the same! But the moves used by the same power are different!

"Lurantis!"

Lurantis opened her leaves, and the flower crown of dreams emitted a strong amplification ripple, making Riolu's Aura stronger and making the world give Riolu greater feedback!

Heart healing. If the heart has confusion and cracks, then even if you have powerful power, you cannot exert it. If the human heart wavers, it will definitely lead to a bad ending, and the flower crown is for avoiding this ending.

Lurantis used Star Fragrance on herself. She felt that outside the nightmare world, there were many, many Pokémon. Perhaps those were Pokémon in dreams, or perhaps Pokémon sleeping in reality.

But no matter what, all the Grass-type Pokémon trapped in nightmares, and in the dream world, share some of your power with me!

Lurantis prayed like this, so the flower crown of dreams helped her complete this matter, and her star power bloomed!

Star Power——Star Fragrance!

The Grass-type Pokémon trapped in nightmares heard the call. Their painful expressions eased slightly, and the Grass-type Pokémon in the real dream world also heard this call.

"Who is calling me?"

Calyrex stared, looking around suspiciously.

What is it? Do you want me, this great king, to help?

The Grass-type Pokémon in the dream world felt that this voice was very strange, but they still gave some energy. Anyway, there are many glorious crops in the dream world, and these precious crops can quickly restore their physical strength. Losing a little is completely irrelevant.

In reality, the resting Torterra suddenly raised its head and stared at the sleeping Lurantis and Guang Tai.

As the carrier of the Entree Tree, Torterra felt a different mental ripple just now.

Not good, did something happen in the dream?

It thought so, so it leaned its head on Lurantis.

Come on, my power, you can use as much as you want!

And in the nightmare world, Lurantis's energy suddenly soared!

Each Grass-type Pokémon will restore 10% of its power and heal, restore its own vitality, and at the same time, use the power of the flower crown to share this vitality with Riolu!

"And me."

Guang Tai added the mental BUFF to Riolu, and at the same time, the blue crystal pendant was also emitting brilliant light!

This mental power is emitted through Aura Sphere, which can eliminate the opponent's negative emotions. Therefore, as long as you can defeat Deoxys, all nightmares can stop.

The blue puppy's momentum climbed rapidly!

The power of the entire nightmare universe is being used by it! Everything here is also a kind of "natural phenomenon"!

Heavenly power, star Aura!

Aura Sphere!

An incomparably huge golden Aura Sphere was rubbed out by Riolu and hit the violent malice in the sky with an unstoppable posture!

【... Life... what is this... so dazzling, so warm, so hot!】

【Light!】

Deoxys released Dark Pulse violently, but the golden brilliance gradually shone on it, and the black mud on its body gradually faded, as if those dark and lonely, resentful and hateful emotions were gradually moving away at this moment.

It felt unprecedented peace. Since landing in this world and stepping into death, it had never had such a peaceful time.

Guang Tai seized the opportunity!

When Deoxys was submerged by the golden Aura Sphere and landed on the ground, the E-Bullet Gun fired countless mud blocks in time, drawing a special formation under Deoxys's feet.

Local Soothing·Universe!

The golden Aura Sphere gradually dissipated, turning into starry cosmic light, raising a warm lamp in that dark and cold macro world. The black mud on Deoxys faded and returned to its normal red and blue colors.

【... This is life. Battle is a symbol of being alive. Only in this way can I feel that I am a real life.】

【I crossed the entire starry sea from my distant hometown. I have seen the explosion of brilliant stars, and I have seen powerful gods roaming the heavens. I look forward to being born into the world as a real life.】

【I felt a power in the world. That power allowed my memories and wisdom to emerge. Is that the power of a god or the power of a Pokémon?】

"It's Uxie, right? Legend says it flies in the world, bestowing us with memory and wisdom. It is a Pokémon god created by the Great Sinnoh, responsible for the spiritual world."

Guang Tai and the two Pokémon walked over: "How is it, are you feeling better? It looks like you've gotten rid of the nightmare?"

The surrounding environment is turning into color, and the black and white world is gradually fading.

【What is this feeling, peace, harmony, joy... these emotions fill my heart, the sad past and memories are fading. Why do you have the soil of my hometown? Why do you have this power?】

"Not your hometown, but the hometown of all life. Time, space, and antimatter, these three constitute the real world we exist in. You come from the universe, but from your perspective, aren't we also from the universe?"

"Because of this, we are all children of the stars."

"By the way, a Pokémon hoped that I could come to save you. Although I didn't know it was so dangerous at first... but fortunately, at least the result is good."

【Thank you.】 Deoxys looked at the people and Pokémon in front of it with a relieved look:

【Perhaps I will never be born, and I will eventually die, but at least I no longer have any resentment. Becoming a life, fighting to the fullest and being defeated, feeling that surging vitality, I came to this world, and I didn't gain nothing. I got what I wanted to know!】

【Although this is a 'nightmare', I... am indeed existing as a life here!】

【The universe is really cold, but... life is really hot! My compatriots and I set off from our hometown, went to one world after another, and what we wanted to witness might be such power. This is the heart of the world...】

Deoxys wanted to face its own death. It had already gotten rid of the nightmare, but Guang Tai stopped it:

"Wait! Maybe you don't have to die."

"I might have a way to let you truly be born, but, I'm not sure. If you want to try, I can help with this!"

Speaking of which, connecting the hearts of aliens, does this count as "transmitting human hearts"?

Guang Tai thought of interesting things.

Deoxys, it has strong Gnostic elements, and its alien origin may come from strangers, meaning that human hometown is not the material world, but the "Pleroma," the world of God opposite to the material world in Gnosticism. It refers to a pure, bright, supreme, and divine field of light.

That is to say, Deoxys can actually be regarded as a variant of Ultraman.

"In short, let's wake up first!"

When Guang Tai disappeared from this world, Deoxys glanced at a void in the universe where there was nothing.

Over there, a Pokémon that looked like a yellow mushroom head made a gratified sound.

Welcome to our world, this is the other side of heaven.
