Chapter 280

After Giovanni left, Xiang Guangtai didn't stay too long and soon left this black, oppressive metropolis with the Pokémon.

Those hunters who had turned over a new leaf took the initiative to lend their vehicles to Xiang Guangtai to transport the Pokémon. As for themselves, they said they would carry out an atonement movement in Black City, making other hunters and buyers realize that buying and selling Pokémon is a wrong behavior!

Uh... turned from a poaching gang into an animal protection organization.

Won't these people join Team Plasma later!

Xiang Guangtai thought that it seems his ability shouldn't be abused in some situations. If this group of hunters joins Team Plasma later, doesn't it mean he is recruiting for Team Plasma?

Or, will they establish a new Pokémon protection team themselves? The mysterious organization of Unova has increased again!

"Speaking of which, I really didn't expect to meet Giovanni. After Team Rocket's actions were suppressed, the Giovanni on the game route finally came to Unova for training, and he became the Gym Leader trainer of the Black Tower. It's truly incredible!"

The Giovanni of this period, if he really experienced the "three beatings" in the game, should be training with the goal of becoming the world's strongest.

But he is still the boss of Team Rocket, just remote-controlling. Team Rocket hasn't disbanded! The trio is still active everywhere following Ash. The change in this world line is still quite interesting.

And the so-called Gym Leader trainer is the strongest trainer who rules each level of the Black Tower. Areas after Area 5 are parts that no one manages, and rules are set by powerful trainers.

Area 8... The higher the tower, the more levels each area has, and Giovanni can actually become the strongest in Area 8. Are there really people stronger than Giovanni in the remaining two areas?

Or is Giovanni just deliberately staying in Area 8 to select trainers with excellent qualifications to enter Team Rocket?

Thinking about it this way, hasn't the Black Tower become a Team Rocket interview site?

At the same time, the Tree of Link suddenly sent an extra reward.

【Reward: Release Orb x8, Badge of the Battle-Hardened Warrior x8, Emerging Power x1!】

"Badge of the Battle-Hardened Warrior: Badge of powerful trainers and Pokémon who participated in high-intensity battles."

"Effect: After experiencing a large number of battles, the upper limit of all your Pokémon's abilities has been raised, and all strength +30%!"

【Emerging Power: Display strength, show ability... Emerging power! Turn others' power into your power! After you defeat trainers and their Pokémon, the effort values and growth rate obtained by you and your Pokémon increase by 100%!】

【Your actions in the Black Mall have been recognized by the Tree of Link!】

"Oh, not bad! Let's set off for White Forest!"

With James's driving skills, the vehicle drove steadily and at high speed.

Inside the carriage, the rescued Pokémon ate Rare Candy and Energy Powder. Since being captured, it was the first time they had rested so peacefully.

No need to worry about anyone being bad to them anymore. The desires of those humans gradually moved away from them. More importantly... the King appeared.

The King who can command Pokémon, and the miraculous traveler...

All this is as unreal as a dream.

The huge black tower gradually moved away, and at the other end of the horizon, at the end of the wilderness, the huge white sacred tree gradually came into view, radiating soft light even at night, which surprised Xiang Guangtai greatly.

Stars shone in the black sky, peaceful and gentle winds blew through this world, and green leaves and herbs rose with the wind.

White Forest, that is, the pure white forest.

The Pokémon looked at the new world in front of them in a daze. The natural power here was surging, starting to restore the injuries on the Pokémon.

And then, the forest seemed to perceive these lives that had come from afar.

Gurgling, one after another, tree fruits fell from the white big tree.

The Pokémon picked them up and ate them, thanking nature for its gift, and the tree fruits fell from the trees one after another.

The natural wind was like a gentle hand, stroking these cute creatures, making their slightly panicked hearts gradually calm down.

Xiang Guangtai looked at the huge tree not far away in a daze. It attracted people's attention just like the Black Tower, radiating sacred, clean, and incredible power outward.

And then, the Unova Link happened just like that.

【Unova Link (White Treehollow) has occurred!】

【Description: The sacred big tree standing in White Forest, one day a huge cave suddenly appeared under its roots, and the depths of the cave radiated powerful natural power and sacred breath! The forest seems to have a request... Listen to the voice of White Forest!】

【Note 1 (Voice from White Treehollow): The Sacred Tree knows you are looking for Champion Alder, come to the bottom layer of White Treehollow immediately!】

【Note 2: In White Forest, your psychic power might be strengthened! The five physical fitnesses and life, soul of your Pokémon might be strengthened!】

【Note 3: That is the sacred White Treehollow, the Tree of Link felt its call!】

【Note 4: The energy of dreams is surging here, the power of dreams seems to be rising!】

【Note 5: Holder of the key, move forward to White Treehollow! The Tree of Link needs to communicate with it!】

【Note 6: White Forest gave you something, that thing appeared... right before your eyes!】

The forest was originally alive, and it could selectively bestow power upon others.

Different forests have different great powers, and White Forest is the third location Alder investigated.

A very thick and short white branch appeared in front of Xiang Guangtai, radiating bright light, and its shape looked like a "key"!

When Xiang Guangtai obtained this white branch key, a powerful force suddenly surged from the branch and poured into his body!

【Acquired: Treehollow Key!】

【Effect: The sacred key used to open the bottom layer of White Treehollow is a treasure shaped by the power of the natural forest. It possesses special purification and sacred power, has bonuses when using Psychic/Grass/Water power, and can amplify your solar power.】

【Will +100%, Resonance +100%.】

The Tree of Link's emotions rose. It seemed to recall the existence of White Treehollow. There are many incredible things on the land of Unova, and the Sacred Tree is one of them!

Xiang Guangtai and the Pokémon moved forward with reverence. The other rescued Pokémon made sounds of gratitude, and then they entered the nearby grass and forest and disappeared.

"The Pokémon were accepted by White Forest. They... obtained protection. This forest will make anyone with malicious intent disappear..."

"Wait, disappear..."

What can be confirmed is that White Forest also has a close connection with the inner world. Xiang Guangtai entered White Treehollow. There were some workers and hikers here who claimed to be from an investigation team.

"You want to go to the bottom of White Treehollow? Are you from the investigation team? Normal trainers need to challenge it. Although the time this facility of White Treehollow appeared is short, the underground cave is very deep."

"This place hasn't been explored yet."

The worker wearing a Hard Stone helmet had a serious expression:

"Who exactly excavated these caves in what era... Traces of people living have been found in every area. This big tree didn't have this cave before... It was only after that black high-rise building appeared that this cave suddenly appeared."

"But... strange... when exactly was the Black Tower built, and who built it? We don't have any impression."

"Now the investigation team is exploring deeply, and practitioners from all over Unova have gathered here. We have set up challenge areas here, planned according to the challenge form of the Black Tower, except that the Black Tower is constantly going up, while White Treehollow is constantly going down."

"If you want to go down, you have to challenge layer by layer..."

Xiang Guangtai took out the white Treehollow key, and the blocking worker was suddenly stunned: "This, this key is in this shape, could it be the big tree key after Area 5?! Are you a Gym Leader trainer?"

"This is indeed a special item found in the deeper layers. After the key appears, new areas below will appear, more caves will be found, and the elevator can also reach it!"

"Hmm... we are collecting these keys! Alright! You can go down! Any floor can be accessed at will."

The worker's expression was a bit meaningful: "According to what the elder in the town said, the sacred big tree has a voice and will."

The worker opened the work elevator going down. This is just the kind of elevator on a construction site. The roots of the sacred big tree go deep into the ground, dividing into endless rooms and caves.

Xiang Guangtai took the development elevator and went all the way down with the Pokémon. A powerful sacred breath was permeating!

【Area 7, Underground 9th Floor.】

This is not the theoretical bottom layer, but the investigation team's elevator can only reach here.

"Give uh..." Aegislash's single eye looked around. It felt a very wonderful natural energy, just like the feeling when it was at the Sinjoh Ruins!

An incredible breath permeates here!

"Doreli~!"

Lilligant and Torterra were released. Grass-type Pokémon felt very good here. The power of nature was very abundant, even making Lilligant hum a song!

Compared to the violence of the Sinjoh Forest, the comfort of Lostlorn Forest, and the strangeness of the Lostlorn Forest, the White Forest here is a completely different feeling!

Sacred, quiet... but also hiding incomparably enthusiastic power!

The small tree of link on Torterra's back was spreading its branches and leaves, and then it felt that power incredibly. The roots of the forest were whispering, and the heart was soothed and comfortable as never before, as if it was about to merge with nature.

Turtle looked at those orange four-leaf clovers.

Hmm, rare plants! This can also be planted on the body!

Lilligant looked and shook her head.

No, no. Too big, no place to plant.

"Ah woo (The life force here is so strong!)"

Riolu felt the powerful natural aura. The blue-haired puppy looked around nervously.

This place is very suitable for cultivation!

Larvesta stared at the water surface, then looked at the tree roots, and those light flows drifting...

emmmm......

Why is it so bright here without the sun?

Originally thought it would be very dark, wanted to show off and come out to illuminate.

Hum—

The key of White Treehollow emitted guiding light, and Xiang Guangtai looked at the plants around in surprise.

Orange-yellow tall plants like lost four-leaf clovers were growing wantonly in the underground ponds around, radiating the breath of purifying filth, while white roots were wrapped around the entrance of the cave, and the plants were radiating brilliant light, illuminating the underground brightly.

There are many practitioners here. Martial artists gather here to exercise their bodies, but they are not easy to encounter. The people of the investigation team are continuing to explore the caves, and occasionally they will have fierce battles with the martial artists.

However, these have nothing to do with Xiang Guangtai. Following the guidance of the white key, Xiang Guangtai came to an empty cave room. At this time, the roots wrapped in front of a certain cave suddenly faded, and bright light radiated from the dark cave!

"I'm here! What do you want to tell me?"

The questions to ask were as many as a mountain. Strange plants appeared in the lit cave.

Red tall four-leaf clovers.

Different from the orange-yellow ones outside, this place is special!

And then, the key of White Treehollow emitted strong light, suspended in front of Xiang Guangtai, and started to change its form, becoming more exquisite, and started to transmit the power of the sacred big tree!

【Unova Link (White Treehollow) has occurred!】

【Description: The sacred big tree standing in White Forest, what exactly is it letting you come here for? This is the Heart Chamber of White Treehollow!】

【(Voice from White Treehollow):】

【Dweller of the Tree of Link, the one who gives birth to the power of transmission.】

【You have come to White Treehollow. This is an ancient shelter built by people underground after the world was destroyed by giant dragons thousands of years ago. People lived underground, and the sacred White Forest provided them with light and food.】

【The Alder you are looking for, the current human champion, he did come here.】

【His journey began with searching for the legendary dragon, but halfway through, he obtained another kind of power, which dragged him into another world, and he obtained a mission in that world.】

【That power is the same as the Tree of Link residing in you.】
