Chapter 293

Gulp, gulp, gulp!

Strange Soda is rich in complex and subtle flavors, but the main taste is sweet and spicy. This is because the sweetness of the Roseli Berry is very high, mixed with a trace of bitterness, while the Kee Berry has a super high spiciness, mixed with a little astringency.

The Pokémon drank this mysterious juice happily!

The growth rate has been greatly improved!

In the game, this is a drink sold by a juice shop on Autumn Avenue in Lumiose City, Kalos region. Of course, this kind of soda juice must be customized to be made.

"If you eat Roseli Berries often, maybe you can improve your resistance to Fairy-type moves. Fairy-type has a significant advantage over Fighting, Dragon, and Dark types... Lilligant and Walking Wake are at a disadvantage against Fairy-type Pokémon, so you need to eat more Roseli Berries in the future."

"Ao?" Walking Wake has no concept of Fairy-type, but it recalled that in the era it lived in, there was indeed a ferocious Pokémon that was difficult for it to deal with. That thing looked like...

Walking Wake roared low, wanting to describe the appearance of that Pokémon. Xiang Guangtai read Walking Wake's language and had a guess in his heart.

However, there is a more convenient way now.

"Let me read your memories."

Xiang Guangtai gently placed his hand on Walking Wake's crystal. The blue crystal emitted a faint light, and ancient memories began to appear in Xiang Guangtai's eyes.

Reading Pokémon's memories.

This is the power of memory!

Lush primitive forests, thick ancient trees wrapped in moss, various ancient fruits that couldn't be named grew wildly and wantonly, and in the ancient forest, many ferocious hunters lurked.

That was an encounter battle.

Walking Wake roared low, hunting a certain ancient Pokémon. There is a predatory relationship between some Pokémon, although it will not be intuitively reflected, occasionally you will see some ferocious wild Pokémon do this kind of thing. In the ancient forest, this kind of thing is even more common.

Although there are Berries to feed all Pokémon, there is still a food chain between Pokémon.

That black spirit with flapping wings hovered in mid-air, looking at Walking Wake, who was confronting it, with a playful gaze. There was no sun in the night sky, so it couldn't trigger the ancient activity of the Paradox species.

And that Pokémon could see the movements of creatures at night. It fought with Walking Wake to hunt a certain Pokémon. With the condensation of moonlight, a "Moonblast" also appeared on its head, making its appearance clearly visible!

With long body hair, a bright red Booster Energy hanging around its neck, scarlet eyes, at first glance it looked like a huge ancient Misdreavus.

"It really is Flutter Mane."

Flutter Mane, known as the ancient Misdreavus, has nothing to do with Misdreavus, but it is related to Aerodactyl. It is said that it is a Ghost-type Pokémon transformed from the soul of a pterosaur. Its personality is very ferocious and warlike, and it is a very rare Ghost + Fairy type.

"That is the ancient fairy... This Flutter Mane is very large, and then, you had a brainless battle with her, and as a result, the prey ran away, and your battle was also..."

Crack!

That was a thick bolt of lightning. In the memory, Xiang Guangtai saw a Pokémon that looked like a thunder dragon. Its arrival caused Walking Wake and Flutter Mane to both leave.

"Ao~" Walking Wake's cry dispelled the memories in Xiang Guangtai's eyes.

Hunting failure... that kind of thing happens often, so don't care!

Isn't there still ancient Pecha Berries to eat? The produce of the primitive forest is very rich!

Sometimes to compete for resources, ferocious Pokémon will attack each other and start various battles without beginning or end. This is common!

"Although theoretically the ancient times should be the law of the jungle, because there are a large number of Berries, it looks like looking for trouble for no reason."

Some ancient Berries will continue to be born according to the power of ancient Pokémon.

In the anime, Fennel restored an Archen, and as a result, the ancient Berries were also restored. That kind of Berry will react to Archen's cry. The more it shouts, the faster it grows, and it can even bear fruit instantly.

"Ha ao~"

After eating and drinking enough, it will get sleepy. Walking Wake is looking forward to the next battle, lying on the ground and starting to smack its lips, and its eyes are also blurred.

Perhaps it has slept in the Link Forest for too long, and now it has practiced the magic skill of falling asleep quickly as soon as it lies down. This deep sleep skill is probably no less than Ash's Rowlet.

Okay, call me when it's time for dinner!

"Tooth..."

Torterra stared at Walking Wake, who was sleeping with its mouth open. From just now, it could feel a power radiating from Walking Wake. That was probably the energy from ancient times, which was making its own ex power active.

Since Turtle got the ex power, it started to ponder.

This power strengthens the power of life and moves, can raise vitality to a very strong level, and will also increase power, and has a considerable strengthening effect on various moves.

This means... if vitality is raised to a very strong level, does that mean...

"Tooth (Big Dragon, don't sleep yet, I have a question!)!"

Torterra's voice made Walking Wake wake up, looking at its mobile restaurant chef with some confusion.

When Turtle asked what the special wild power on Walking Wake was, Walking Wake's eyes blinked, and then...

Sunny Day!

"Woof!"

"Dore~"

"Mera..."

Using Sunny Day in the room is like throwing a flashbang. Facing the situation of Sunny Day, every Pokémon has different reactions.

Lilligant is very happy because she is a lily, so she will grow well if she absorbs sunlight; Larvesta is Fire-type, so of course it likes sunny weather. Although it wants to actively switch the weather, Larvesta keenly feels that now should not be the time to "show its face," so it whispers and enjoys it behind its fingertips.

But Riolu is very uncomfortable.

The blue-haired puppy stuck out its tongue, felt the temperature rising, and its ears drooped. It walked directly to Aegislash and used Aegislash's big shield as a shade.

"Don't set the weather in the room... Eh, are you demonstrating something to Torterra?"

"Hmm, is it an Ability?"

Xiang Guangtai heard Walking Wake's low roar. Because of the appearance of sunny weather, Walking Wake's Ability was triggered!

Protosynthesis: When holding Booster Energy or the weather is Sunny Day, the highest stat other than HP will be increased by 30%; if that stat is Speed, it will be increased by 50%!

This is the wild power from ancient times!

Using this power with changes in weather and environment can exert effects in unexpected situations!

And Torterra nodded, feeling the ex time-changing power in its body rising and jumping. Because it got that power at night, it didn't feel anything, but now it has become sunny, and the feeling came all at once.

This is!

Green energy rose on Turtle's huge body. That powerful power made the grass and trees stretch, new leaves grew, and the green on its back seemed to be even richer!

The ancient ex power strengthened Turtle's vitality, and a mutation occurred in sunny weather, allowing it to actively open its Ability "Overgrow" in sunny weather!

"Ao?!"

Walking Wake's sleepiness disappeared at once. It looked at Turtle in disbelief. Among the few Pokémon, Walking Wake, Torterra, and Lilligant are relatively familiar, but...!

You didn't say that you also have "Protosynthesis"!

So you are my fellow villager?

"Tooth (Not really, but thank you!)"

Torterra figured out the trick. The key is Sunny Day, and Xiang Guangtai and other Pokémon were also attracted by this abnormal change.

Although they have obtained different powers, some from the universe, some from ancient times, and some from dreams, from Aura... but how to use the power depends on the Pokémon's own ideas!

Aegislash was the first to jump out and like it!

Oh! As expected of Turtle!

When you were training with Regirock in Sinnoh, you showed creativity second only to me!

With the help of the Trainer, I practiced Fury Cutter into a cancel, practiced Sacred Sword into three major stunts, practiced Psycho Cut into a sharp web of spirit, and practiced Shadow Sneak to be even more unscrupulous.

Are you going to follow the same path as me now?! That's really good!

"Hmm, Sunny Overgrow... It makes some sense. The sun shining on grass and trees is not to make them grow? With ancient power, you can maintain peak combat power in sunny weather."

"Speaking of which, Lilligant is the same. Because it is the Own Tempo Ability, the accuracy is worrying, but it improved its accuracy through carving work, so it can always maintain its peak posture."

"There are still many points that can be developed regarding Abilities and moves. I remember..."

Xiang Guangtai suddenly thought of Diamond in the special edition.

That counterpart of Barry also has unique ideas. He improved the move Razor Ye Zi into "Unique Razor Ye Zi," and after training, he gained the ability to control the number of leaves fired by Razor Ye Zi. By controlling the number of leaves to 1, that Torterra could accelerate the speed of this leaf to the maximum!

This is a unique move developed to counter agile opponents!

"And maybe by further increasing power, or special training, you can do both Abilities at the same time."

Aren't there such examples in reality? Calyrex!

When Calyrex appears riding a horse, it will show "possessing two Abilities at the same time"!

Xiang Guangtai's suggestion made the Pokémon very happy. They began to ask Torterra and Aegislash for advice, trying to develop more tricks. Even Sawsbuck and Haxorus, who did not belong to Xiang Guangtai, joined the discussion.

Deoxys: 【If you obtain valuable items of the same attribute, maybe the power of the Ability can be further improved. The energy increase of Overgrow might also be amplified even more... I heard these words from those museum curators in my dreams... Although they are nightmares, I can listen clearly. They are very famous Trainers, and they also have research on Abilities.】

Deoxys has a lot of knowledge. Some were heard from the museum before it was born, and some were obtained from communication with Professor Juniper, as well as brought from the universe.

Xiang Guangtai: "That's true. I know a special Chimchar. Its Blaze Ability is stronger than its peers, and what can strengthen the Ability, besides a lot of training, gifts from outside, is also the bond between humans and Pokémon."

Entei: "Interesting idea, speaking of which, my Ability can also..."

The phantom Entei's Ability is unknown. This is probably because Molly doesn't understand the Pokémon Entei, so the Entei imagined has the Ability "?". But the real Entei has two Abilities, one is Pressure, and the other is Inner Focus.

However, it is said that the three legendary beasts also have original hidden Abilities that have not been implemented. Entei's original hidden Ability is... Flash Fire!

"Give, do you want to try?"

Xiang Guangtai opened a box in his backpack and took out a Charcoal wearing gloves.

"You remember, I gave Charcoal to the real Entei, and that Gouging Fire from ancient times."

"Hmm... this is the Charcoal from that time, which can increase the power of Fire-type moves." The phantom Entei bit the Charcoal, and a powerful flame power surged in its body!

Entei, born from the dream world, truly showed its "original hidden Ability" at this moment!

"Larvesta, use 'Ember' on Entei."

Xiang Guangtai commanded Larvesta, and Larvesta suddenly got into the spirit, preparing to do a big job, but was stopped by Xiang Guangtai: "Don't use too much force, just spray a little fire."

"Mera..." Larvesta was a little disappointed, but it really couldn't spray too powerful fire. If it set the house on fire, it would be bad.

The house here doesn't look as strong as the ancient city.

Whoosh! An Ember hit Entei, but it was instantly absorbed by Entei!

"So that's it, your new Ability is 'Flash Fire'!"

Sure enough, it's not Pressure! After all, it ran out of the dream world! And because it didn't keep up with the version, it's not Inner Focus either!

"Congratulations! This is a power completely different from the real Entei. The Flash Fire Ability can absorb flames and increase the power of Fire-type moves. And when acting in the wild, it will also attract Fire-type Pokémon."

The discussion about Abilities and moves became more and more heated. The Pokémon shared their various insights and ideas. Fantastic thoughts were uttered one by one, and they were keen to turn these fantasies into reality and began to formulate feasible plans.

Although they are still traveling, the journey will eventually stop. At that time, they can put these plans into practice. Of course, fighting with others during the journey is also an excellent time to turn ideas into reality.

They even started discussing Xiang Guangtai's ability. After all, psychic power is also a kind of "move power"!

"You also have Extrasensory." Entei looked at Xiang Guangtai strangely.

"Hmm, the psychic power learned in the ancient city, but the power is very weak. If it is used as an attack move... it is okay to hit the Trainer by surprise."

"That's okay. Pokémon fight Pokémon, and Trainers also fight Trainers... Hmm, but I won't let Molly fight, so if the Trainer on the opposite side dares to do so, I will knock down the Trainer on the opposite side first."

"This is also a way of thinking... After all, the situation where this kind of occasion appears is definitely not a formal competition."

Xiang Guangtai chatted with Entei about Extrasensory, and it took a while to react. Without knowing it, he actually joined the heated discussion of the Pokémon about moves.

"Has so much time passed? Let's prepare dinner!"

The hotel is not far from the Driftveil market. Xiang Guangtai took Aegislash and Riolu, and Lilligant to buy a pile of ingredients. When he came back, he started cooking. Of course, when it comes to cooking, the absolute must-have is—

"Rotom, come out and turn into an oven!"

"Hee hee... No (Don't)!"

Rotom originally thought it was something fun, but hearing it turn into an oven, it suddenly remembered the previous inferior products. It started to twitch in mid-air, refusing to transform, but Xiang Guangtai held a brand new oven:

"This is an imported product bought from the Driftveil market. It's not like the defective products processed by R9. I checked it. The quality of this oven is quite good."

Team Galactic doesn't just sell defective products. After all, they are doing serious home appliance business. Xiang Guangtai guessed that the defective products were trial products made by Charon. These things always have to find a sucker to dump them, but the quality of the second and third batches of goods will of course be much better, but the price has also increased.

Poor quality control of certain products causing losses to sellers is a common thing in the market.

"Hee?"

Rotom carefully checked the electric oven, and then swooshed into it. Its form turned into Heat Rotom. This time it didn't show any discomfort, but floated in mid-air very happily!

The state of this new body is quite good!

Xiang Guangtai prepared to make baked foods in the room. In a while, various baked foods were freshly out of the oven!

These baked foods were obtained after learning the techniques of the mouse chefs at the Triple Restaurant, and are various dessert dishes from Pokémon Sleep and Pokémon Café ReMix.

【Food: Striaton Energy Cake Roll! — Attractive to Water, Fire, and Grass-type Pokémon, improves health, and slightly strengthens physical fitness.】
