It was not a joke in any sense. The difficulty was extreme, significant, and formidable.

Overall, [Quest 4] was certainly of a high level of difficulty, a task that would test the limits of anyone attempting it.

Yet, if Caelan thought about it from another angle, the appearance of [Hint 2] might indicate that upon reaching six-star status in the future, he would obtain the abilities listed there, potentially even achieving a class mutation.

Thinking of this, Caelan squinted his eyes slightly, focusing carefully on the text of [Hint 2].

It became very clear that everything he was about to do was preparation for truly stepping onto the path of a powerful individual, for advancing on the road toward being exceptionally strong, toward real power.

Moreover, Caelan made a bold speculation.

One purpose of crafting the [Ascension Stone] might very well be to produce a mirror version of himself, a duplicate that somehow reflected his own abilities.

He did not forget the previous descriptions regarding the Supreme Staff.

When reaching six-star, there was a [Star Ascension Quest], which required defeating one’s own mirror self, a reflection of one’s own strength and potential.

As he considered this, a flash of understanding appeared in Caelan’s eyes, a sudden glimmer of insight.

Yet, immediately afterward, his attention was drawn to the mention of "Temporal Passage."

Wait... what did this mean exactly?

Was he really required to traverse time and space in order to finally reach six-star status?

So... what kind of existence was the Chosen One class, then?

And what exact mission or responsibility did it carry?

Caelan felt a sharp headache coming on. The concepts and information he was now facing were beyond the limits of what he could currently comprehend.

For a simple example: this so-called "Temporal Passage"—did it imply traveling into the past, or into the future?

If it were the past, would it be before his own birth? During the era of the [Dark Titan] Volibel? Or perhaps even further back, into a more ancient period?

If it were the future...

Then traveling there seemed to have very little practical significance, almost no immediate purpose.

As these thoughts crossed his mind, Caelan remembered the mysterious voice he had heard previously.

It seemed to have been urging him along, pressuring him forward relentlessly, continuously.

But why? Why was it urging him? What was the purpose behind this?

Caelan helplessly rubbed the back of his head, feeling the weight of confusion.

It seemed that all of these mysteries, all of the puzzles and challenges, could only be revealed after he reached six-star status, after he had ascended to that level of power.

For the moment, he decided to first make a trip to the Legion to see if there was anything he could assist with, anything he could do to help.

Caelan thought that if he had the chance, he could attempt to complete [Quest 3] for the Legion first.

Of course, he was not certain he could complete it at this point. Completing [Quest 2], however, should not present much difficulty at all.

If everything went smoothly, he could potentially complete both [Quest 2] and [Quest 3] at the same time, accomplishing two goals in one endeavor.

The only concern he had was whether his relatives might be negatively affected as a result of his actions, whether his family members might face setbacks or troubles.

Caelan activated [Flashstep], moving effortlessly through the crowded streets and narrow alleys, seamlessly avoiding obstacles and weaving through the throngs of people.

Yet in his mind, he was carefully thinking through his next moves, planning his strategy step by step.

Once he completed the [Star Ascension Quest], his next path would take him into the abyss.

In addition, the Celestial Realm seemed to hold the potential for him to visit as well, offering opportunities that might benefit his journey or provide insight.

No matter what, everything seemed predetermined, almost as if fate itself had decided it.

Caelan had a subtle sense that his future development would inevitably involve both the abyss and the Celestial Realm, including worlds such as the Void Frontier and other distant, unfamiliar realms.

Being the Chosen One not only brought him exceptional power, but it also carried with it an undeniable sense of destiny, a predestined path, a fate that he could not avoid.

Yet at this time, Caelan’s strength was still insufficient.

He was still too weak, and many secrets could only be uncovered after he had grown stronger, after he had developed the necessary power to explore them.

Ironclad Legion Headquarters

Caelan arrived once more at the headquarters of the Ironclad Legion, finding his grandfather and Orlando present.

He shared all of his thoughts, his ideas, and his plans with both of them.

Both Caesar and Orlando welcomed Caelan’s proposals warmly.

"Caelan, the fact that you immediately thought of us, the Ironclad Legion, is already very impressive," they said with sincere admiration.

"To speak honestly, we have indeed wanted to strengthen the power of the Ironclad Legion, but we never found the proper opportunity or method to do so."

"Your idea is something that the two of us wholeheartedly support!"

"And furthermore, if you require any materials at all, just ask.
