Chapter 69: Experience the Plot, Reap the Rewards

Tang Song adjusted his sleeping posture and pulled up the quilt.

He selected 【Simulation Dungeon Generation Card】 and used it immediately.

"Whoosh—" The system interface light halo flowed.

A grand concert scroll appeared.

The lights were brilliant, and the glow sticks gathered into a galaxy.

Fireworks bloomed in the sky, colorful, dreamy, and splendid.

Immediately after, lines of text jumped out.

【Chapter 1, Elimination Round in Adversity】

【About to begin】

Immediately after, the light screen dissipated into starlight, and a surging sleepiness struck.

Tang Song's body relaxed rapidly, and his breathing became even and long.

I was born into an ordinary working-class family; although not wealthy, my family was healthy and harmonious.

In the 3rd grade of elementary school, a very cute little girl transferred to our class and happened to be arranged as my desk mate.

She was very smart; she learned everything the teacher taught instantly, got full marks on every exam, and could draw, play the piano, and dance.

She loved reading and would occasionally share interesting stories with me.

Before I knew it, we became good friends.

After entering junior high school, we went to different schools and had new social circles; contact gradually decreased, only occasionally bumping into each other at the library, stationery store, or on the road.

In high school, we became classmates again; although not in the same class, we often chatted on the playground, in the stairwell, or under the shade of trees.

She was still as excellent as ever, with grades always in the top three of the school, while I was just above average.

She liked listening to music while solving math problems; I used my saved living expenses to buy a guitar and started teaching myself.

I unexpectedly discovered I had great musical talent; I played the guitar well and sang well too.

In college, we separated again; this time it was over 350 kilometers apart.

I joined a music club and was exposed to more instruments.

I started trying to write my own songs, singing them, filming them into videos, putting them on short video apps, and sharing them with her.

An entertainment company found me, took a fancy to my musical talent and handsome appearance, and hoped to sign me as a singer.

I agreed.

I loved music and longed to prove myself, longing to become a star.

After professional training and guidance, my musical level improved by leaps and bounds again.

I was arranged by my manager to participate in a show called "Tomorrow's Superstar."

This was a global music talent show and currently the hottest variety show.

She gave me a very expensive guitar and encouraged me to do my best.

I successfully passed the "Preliminary Selection" and "Selection Competition," entering the elimination round of the China region, which also meant I could finally step onto the screen; I would bloom with my own brilliance in this explosive variety show "Tomorrow's Superstar"!

But the upcoming first round of the competition didn't seem simple.

I might be eliminated.

【Plot Task: Maintain persona, successfully pass the first round of elimination】

【Evaluation Criteria: Stage performance ability, personal charm display, role matching degree】

Tang Song slowly opened his eyes and rubbed his face.

Just now, he seemed to have experienced another person's life; it seemed to flash by, but he could substitute himself into it very clearly, without any sense of incongruity.

Passionate about music, highly talented, outstanding vocal conditions, could play many instruments.

Especially his guitar level, he could already form a band.

It could be said he was an absolute powerhouse.

This was also the reason he could successfully stand out from the China competition zone.

However, in the first round of the elimination competition, he encountered a VIP contestant.

Perhaps fearing his strength, the agency behind the other party, through internal trading, arranged their group's competition at a music festival in "Sakura Province."

Contestants sing, and the audience and judges vote.

As a province of China, although people here speak Mandarin, "Japanese" as a dialect remains popular.

This VIP contestant was a local of Sakura Province and was very good at Japanese songs.

"Ding! The dungeon mall has been opened; purchased items and skill books are limited to use within this dungeon."

Here it comes! The equipment for the dungeon is finally on the shelves!

Although the opponent is a VIP, I'm a cheater!

In my dream, I won't let you bully me!

He opened the system interface and entered the dungeon mall that had just appeared.

He checked the details of the items one by one.

【Explosive Japanese Song *1】: After use, you can obtain the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of 1 explosive Japanese song, priced at 100,000 yuan.

【Japanese Skill Book】: After use, you can automatically master Japanese spelling rules, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and intonation, being able to fluently listen, speak, read, and write, reaching the level of a professional translator, priced at 200,000 yuan.

【Recovery Potion *10】: After use, you can quickly restore your spirit and energy to the best state, helping you better cope with the competition, priced at 300,000 yuan.

Tang Song didn't continue reading; after all, he only had 440,000 in savings now.

"Ding! You obtained 【Explosive Japanese Song】."

"Ding! You obtained 【Japanese Skill Book】."

The 300,000 yuan in betting money he had just withdrawn was gone instantly; Tang Song felt a bit of a heartache.

But there was no way around it; to clear the dungeon successfully, he had to have suitable equipment.

He entered the system warehouse, selected 【Japanese Skill Book】, and used it immediately.

Tang Song thought for a moment, and many phrases, pronunciations, and grammar rules immediately popped into his mind; he could speak fluent Japanese casually.

Unfortunately, this skill was only temporary and could only be used in this dungeon.

Otherwise, he wouldn't need subtitles for anime and dramas in the future; he could chew through raw content directly, and the experience would soar.

After sighing for a while, he selected 【Explosive Japanese Song】 and used it immediately.

In an instant, the complete musical score and arrangement content appeared in his mind.

Relying on the musical talent from the dream, he immediately digested and understood the song.

Picking up the guitar, he played and sang a few lines casually; it was very smooth.

Gently putting down the guitar, Tang Song walked to the window and looked out, admiring the scenery of the streets of Osaka.

High-rise buildings, rail transit, colorful billboards, young ladies wearing JK uniforms, two-dimensional elements visible everywhere...

Although this dream world had many differences from the real world, it also had many similarities.

Although he really wanted to experience the unique foreign culture and chat with beautiful Sakura girls, considering his current persona, he gave up.

For the next two days, Tang Song followed the original established rhythm, trying hard to play his role well.

Adjusting his mindset, polishing the song, vocal training, learning stage presence, and participating in the competition.

With the announcement of the competition results.

The scene before Tang Song's eyes froze instantly.

Dark brown guitar, dazzling stage, bright spotlights, audience cheers, applause, and shouts.

"Whoosh," the system light screen unfolded.
